The search for missing Sterling, CT teenager Todd “TJ” Allen has come to a tragic end:

We didn’t know Todd Allen, but he was a human being, he was loved, he will be mourned and missed, people will be devastated and affected for the rest of their lives, and we truly hope that his family can eventually find inner peace.

And just like that the most talked about mystery in the history of Facebook detectives has come to a close. As time went on it became less and less likely that he was actually on the run, as many Internet detectives speculated. Eventually he would’ve run out of money, or someone would’ve noticed him, or he would’ve came back home to Mom and Dad.

But now that they know he is dead the Facebook murder police are back on the case and are trying to figure out who did this to TJ Allen. The police have announced that they have identified a person of interest in the case:

screen-shot-2017-01-13-at-1-40-15-pm

One thing I think that is pretty obvious is that the person who killed him (it’s reported that he was stabbed) is the same person who sent the text message from TJ’s phone, in which TJ allegedly claimed to have hurt himself on his bike.

My question is, how did everyone miss the body? It was only a couple miles from his home in Sterling. There were hundreds of people out canvassing those woods, including the police. This has led to all sorts of Internet speculation. And several people who claim to have knowledge of the situation are throwing out the same name for the person of interest.

Now, we had a choice – talk about what people are talking about, or ignore it. On the one hand, this person (the name that is making the rounds with the Internet police) could be completely innocent. In that case they’re being dragged through the mud and it’s completely fucked up. On the other hand, their name is already all over the Internet and people are mulling about him already, so we’re not really releasing anything. We’re just showing you what people are talking about. If anything it’s kind of our responsibility to show the world the potential dangers of speculating without facts.

And just for the record, as far as we are concerned, we are NOT saying that we believe this person did anything. We are simply here to comment on the work of Internet special investigators. According to TJ Allen’s mother, she never liked this kid (the person of interest), who was the last person to see him, and had graduated with him from Ellis Tech the previous year. The name everyone is tossing around is Kevin Weismore:

That last comment is NOT true. No one is in custody.

If this kid didn’t do it, then we hope to educate our readers about the dangers of Internet speculation. Remember when the New York Post did this?

o-new-york-post-bag-men-facebook

Yea, turns out those guys didn’t blow up the marathon, and their lives were basically ruined because of that.

But this is obviously a very different story. The New York Post had a picture of two guys in a crowd of thousands, who just so happened to have backpacks on. TJ Allen was discovered after cops were brought to a body by someone living in a rural area who just so happened to be a close acquaintance of TJ. That narrows it down a lot more than two guys with backpacks in Boston.

We’re just trying to play devil’s advocate and racking our brains right now trying to figure out a way that the person who led police to the body wasn’t the killer. No one can come up with much. Unless he just happened to be playing in the woods near his house in the middle of January and randomly came across the body. But if he did do it, then we basically have a case of Edgar Allen Poe’s Telltale Heart. If he did do it, then that means he knew he was dead this entire time, said nothing, and just couldn’t live with the pain anymore.

And where is the bike? Internet detectives speculate that it was for sale on Craig’s List, or blah, blah, blah. But obviously since it wasn’t next to his body, the person who killed him knows where it is.

We’ll see what happens with this going forward. For more information check out this Facebook Live from WTNH reporter Tina Detelj:

I kind of like that reporter, but she needs a “crew.” LOL holding your own cell phone camera for reporting is kind of funny. She was very compassionate in her reporting though. This is a terrible ending to a mystery. Curious to see what the motive turns out to be. Hope they catch the cretan and hang him. You know, unless the person missing is society’s picture of a “stellar” human being, people speculate that he or she must have done something, was on the run, or was involved in something illegal. It’s a shame. I hope TBS and the doesn’t cast judgement based on nothing from here on out.

    My observations . . . .

    1) Statistically speaking, in cases like these, the POI did it.
    2) My guess: The Sterling Police (maybe with help from FBI) pulled the Good Cop / Bad Cop routine on Weismore until he broke.

    My advice:
Never, ever agree to police questioning. Ask for a lawyer immediately, and ask to leave. Explain that you don’t know the process, and want to make sure your rights are protected. You can NOT win against police. They (even in Sterling) are expert at interrogation. Even if you’re absolutely innocent, the techniques can cause you to make concessions that appear to be confessions.

Fiesty says – “EVERYONE here knows you are wrong and a fucking fraud.”

Oh really ‘everyone’ here is an expert on Police procedure as it relates to a crime investigation? I had no idea I was among so many cronies. And trust me ‘Rhino’ and ‘r u kidding me’ are not the only ones that are laughing at you.

I just love it when you think, in your little pink world, that you represent ‘everybody’ in here. The Queen-be has spoken! Fucking loser you are really.

It seriously cracks me up. I call you out and you cannot handle it because living a lie to gain popularity is your world and I crashed it. Ooops – sorry. I hate frauds and liars so shoot me.

Grow up Fiesty. And for fuck sake spell your own name right will you – you fucking idiot?

Not necessarily Chris – I respectfully disagree with your assumption that cooperating with a Police investigation may lead toward self-incrimination. Interviews are not considered “interrogations” to start off with and the use of that term is frowned upon. That is just a big time Hollywood term.

When Police interview and they do it in pairs of two. Meaning two investigators in the room with the Person of Interest. Never a one on one. In addition all interviews are recorded so as to eliminate any allegation of coercion and or questioning prior to being advised of the interviewee’s rights per Miranda v. Arizona (1966). The classic “You have the right to remain silent” etc.

Of course at anytime the interviewee can “lawyer up” meaning not willing to say anything without a lawyer present. But with all things with the Police on the up and up and the interviewee is innocent then cooperating with the investigation may expedite the interviewee’s quick release from further interest in the case. It all depends on the circumstances of the case. Nothing is etched in stone regarding an investigation not withstanding the basic interview set up as described above.

      Someone told me this…

Ummmmmmmmmmmm lol… Yet, here you are claiming to be a retired Worcester police officer. You fucking lying hack!

An interview is usually very informal and is done to individuals to seek further information about the crime. The person(s) being interviewed are usually never assumed to be the criminal. They are usually either a witness, victim, or other person(s) answering questions about the crime committed or the criminal (if they have that knowledge).

An interrogation is much different. Although it takes place in the “interview” room it is still an interrogation and that is the term used frequently despite your false claim. An interrogation is usually being done to a suspect. Thus, the need to mirandize prior to proceeding with the interrogation as the questions are intended to elicit an incriminating response, e.g. Reid Technique.

Also your claim that “all interviews are recorded” are false. Any suspect being interrogated has the right to refuse recording, and must sign a waiver if doing so. It is not advised, but done enough to make it very common, thus, refuting your statement that every interrogation is recorded. There is a procedure the officers need to follow (letting the suspect know the benefits of recording, ect) and if the suspect still refuses, the officer must comply and the suspect must sign the waiver. The defendant must agree and sign the waiver that states their refusal to be recorded was voluntary. Usually, the officer should record the suspect stating he/she is refusing to be recorded.

You state there is “never a one on one” interrogation. There certainly is, especially when the interrogation is being recorded. There is no law that states two officers need to be present. However, there is a rule that there can be no more than two officers. It is common practice for officers to switch places throughout the interrogation, again, see Reid Technique. One officer is usually interrogating while the second officer is behind in the recording equipment room.

I can keep going… Shall I keep going? I mean, are we still playing this game? Are you still trying to convince everyone here that you are a retired officer who aided in the Worcester 6 Fire? Cute how you accuse ME of being the liar……….. Please stop, you’re embarrassing yourself with all of this false information. Some of us Turtle Riders were on the phone on 3 way giggling over your post. I initially said I was going to ignore it because anyone with a brain can see your information is highly flawed. I’m just getting tired of your lies and bullshit. So, every time you attempt to appear smart, I will be here to make you feel stupid again.

Nota Bene: A REAL POLICE OFFICER WOULD KNOW THIS INFORMATION. Please, make no excuses.

Well after reading your inaccurate dribble as initially introduced as, ” Ummmmmmmmmmmm lol…” That to me is code for even though I know BobnMic is spot on I need to negate it to upstand my worthiness and be popular in here and be the smarter one here in the comment section at all times no matter what.

“This is my heaven” i.e. – Fiesty’s personal decree and total commitment toward self fake worthiness and absolute total control over everybody in here. So you think fuckhead.

Anybody worth half a brain can see right through your bullshit. Again – Commenters are not stupid people as much as you want them to be. We.are.not.stupid.people.

You are pathetic Fiesty. You really are. And if for some fucked up reason you really are a lawyer you have to be the worst at that profession. Further proof that you are not.

Let’s break your fakeness down regarding your last comment shall we:

You say – “The person(s) being interviewed are usually never assumed to be the criminal. They are usually either a witness, victim, or other person(s) answering questions about the crime committed or the criminal (if they have that knowledge).”

The real Law Enforcement says – Those person(s) would never have been interviewed if an investigation did not reveal them to be any one of many involved capacities considered. You should know this if are you are a lawyer. Witnesses and victims are treated entirely different. We do not interrogate a witness ever. That is insane. And again the term Interview is the prefered term.

Witnesses are on our side and a one on one statement subsequently signed by both the detective and witness is how it is done. You seem to not have a clue to the procedure of a criminal investigation and the nuts and bolts therein. Further proof that you are a fake and way out of your element disputing me on topics such as this.

“Ummmmmmmmmmmm lol.” You should give this silliness a break. You know I am accurate and you are way off. Anybody in here with law enforcement experience knows I am spot on. Three quarters of my career was I assigned a detective in the detective bureau.

But that is something someone told me. I really was a Phrenologist.

I just read a lot of crime novels…

I challenge anyone here to do their research, everything I said is 100% factual, PERIOD, end of discussion.

Fiesty – Of course you will not read my response because you cannot handle the truth. You are a total fake and every time you TRY to dispute me on topics such as this. I’ll rip you apart at every dumb ass sentence that you spew. You should have picked another profession to falsify.

Fiesty falsely claims – [Also your claim that “all interviews are recorded” are false.]

Then you in the next few sentences Fiesty writes, [You state there is “never a one on one” interrogation. There certainly is, especially when the interrogation is being recorded.]

So you fucking idiot – which is it in your world of lies and falsehoods? Are interviews recorded or are they not? I can answer for you because you obviously do not know shit about this topic. Yes they are. And all rights per Miranda which to include the understanding that the interview is being recorded are all on one form to be signed by both the interviewers and interviewee right on down to pointing out where the cameras and microphones are located.

Do yourself a favor. Pick another profession to falsely claim that you are apart of then you can finally say that you got me. Let’s face it – the only thing that you have proven in here is that you are a very lonely house wife with no education and a mentality and maturity of a 4th grade brat punk.

What Doctor of Jurisprudence says, “go suck a big bag of dicks” or “go die” or that I am on a three way phone conversation mocking your last comment? Answer – not one. The more you try and up me on topics like this the dumber you look. Face it.
