Turns out the Darius Fleming story about saving a life was all a big Manti Te’o-esque lie, according to TMZ:

TMZ Sports has learned the Foxborough Police Department is now looking into the crash claims made by Patriots linebacker Darius Fleming … and as one law enforcement source put it, “It’s starting to look like Manti Te’o.”

Here’s what we know … the Foxborough PD has no knowledge of a Thursday night crash similar to one described by Fleming — in which he claims he pulled a woman out of a smoking car after smashing a window.

We’re told the FPD has been calling other agencies around the area — and so far, no one has heard of anything resembling Fleming’s tale

As one law enforcement source put it — “What he described is not a minor accident. It’s definitely something we would have heard about.”

The source adds, “Nobody knows what’s going on.”

We’re told cops are looking to speak with Fleming ASAP.

Stay tuned …

Except it wasn’t a lie. TMZ is just run by baboons who throw shit on the wall and see if it sticks. They think they own the Internet since they broke the Donald Sterling racist phone conversations a couple years ago. But at the end of the day, it’s TMZ. It’s a smut, tabloid website that you’d find in the grocery store checkout line if the Internet didn’t exist.

Ya see, the problem with these national websites is that they don’t understand local issues. They assumed that because Darius Fleming works in Foxboro, that he saved a life in Foxboro. So they called the Foxboro police and since they had no record of this car crash happening, they jumped to the conclusion that he’s lying.

But the problem is that the only two municipalities in Massachusetts that anyone at TMZ can name are Boston and Foxboro. They forgot that there’s a whole bunch of other towns, including one called “Walpole.” And shortly after TMZ posted this defaming, whoring page view click bait, the Walpole police issued this:

Boom. Roasted.

TMZ quickly retracted. LOL. Just kidding. They’re keeping it up because it’s getting tons of clicks. And when you’re a “legitimate news outlet” you’ll do anything for clicks. Integrity means nothing in 2016 media.

Naturally the Globe’s Ben Volin, who jumped on the “Brady is a cheater bandwagon” during ”deflategate, had seen enough the moment he read the TMZ article:

Yea, looks like you didn’t dig hard enough. Way to jump to conclusions though. You, Chris Mortensen, Bob Kravitz, and every other fraud in the media, WANTS to besmirch the good names of everyone who plays for the Patriots. The truth of the matter is that he believed it because he wanted to believe it. The truth has never, ever mattered to these frauds. It’s the same reason they’re STILL giving Peyton Manning a free pass and not even mentioning the fact that he had HGH shipped to his house several times.

He tried to explain his own incompetence:

No you didn’t. Liar. You never called the Walpole police and they never told you that. That’s why we’re not accepting your bullshit apology:

Screen Shot 2016-01-20 at 9.37.43 PM

Seriously, how much of an asshole do you have to be to attack a guy who just saved a woman’s life? How do you keep your job after something like that? And you apologize on Twitter? How bout going to his house and begging for forgiveness? I could actually have an ounce of respect for that.

Just a reminder that Ben Volin works for the Boston Globe – a respected journalism outlet. According to all the butthurt Turtleboy haters, this is what we should be aspiring to be. This is the type of media outlet that you should get your news from. Don’t listen to those fanboy bloggers. They don’t even have degrees in journalism!! How can you ever trust a writer without a degree in journalism?? It’s MADNESS!!!

Nonsense like this never gets old. The media will go to any lengths to try to fuck with our mind’s before a big game. They want a scandal so badly, but they just don’t exist, so they make em up. Meanwhile Darius Fleming never said a word about this because when you’re a member of the New England Patriots you do your job, remain humble, respect your opponents, and destroy them on the field. And every once in a while you save a life too. God bless Darius Fleming. God bless the New England Patriots. God bless Patriots fans everywhere.

This crash was right in front of my work (2250 providence hwy). It most definitely did happen. There was definitely smoke filling the car, but was white, so most likely antifreeze burning off… But that combined with unknown fluid spilling onto the ground, and the doors were not able to be unlocked made for a scary situation.

said it before I’ll say it again – America hates success since it showcases how people who fail COULD do well but they decide not to. Which is why America hates the Patriots and try to take them down a few notches. Failures hate seeing success.

The Boston Globe is not a respected news outlet by any one with critical thinking skills.
