I love the way the NFLPA is doing business right now for Tom Brady. They know Brady is innocent. They know this whole thing is a gigantic setup meant to defame the greatest player in NFL history. And they know how easy it is to show this to the world. All they had to do was release the transcripts from the Brady appeal hearing which spoke for themselves. But now we know why Brady was so hesitant to hand this stuff over – because he was taking a steamy dump on Peyton Manning:
Brady, in an email to an old friend made public as part of the federal Deflategate lawsuit, says the “final chapter” of his rivalry with Manning will be decided when Brady ultimately plays for seven or eight more years — and Manning lasts only another two.
The candid email, dated Nov. 1, 2014 — the Saturday before Brady’s Patriots routed Manning’s Broncos 43-21 in a Week 9 game at Foxborough — was one of two Brady messages published Wednesday by The Boston Globe.
“Thanks popa,” Brady writes to childhood friend Kevin Brady during an email exchange discussing a Grantland story that illustrated a decline for Manning in comparing the two quarterbacks. “I’ve got another 7 or 8 years. He has 2. That’s the final chapter. Game on.”
Oh my God, I think it moved. Tom was 37 when he wrote this email, and he said in a PRIVATE conversation, that he plans to play until he’s 45. This is how he talks to his boys. He shits on Peyton Manning just like the rest of us. I love how TB12 is a year younger than Manning and looks at him like he’s the old man sending back soup at a deli.
Jay Flannelly, a blogger friend of Brady’s nicknamed “Beav,” goes into much deeper detail about why Brady, who is 38, is superior to Manning, who is 39.
I LOVE that one of Tom Brady’s best friends is named “Beav.”
“Manning needs things to be perfect to succeed, weather, his system, etc.,” Flannelly writes. “You right about November — HUGE”
Brady simply defers to Flannelly’s analysis in his reply.
“We are some hard working grinders beav,” Brady writes. “That’s what our team is all about. Our best is still ahead of us.”
Flannelly also had complimented Brady’s performance, saying the one thing he had noticed was how well he was moving: “foot work, scrambling, keeping plays alive— clearly u worked hard on this.”
“Also agree with your postgame presser assessment— left points on the field — should have put a hundred on that team…FGs into TDs changes that–finnish drives,” Flannelly writes, before taking a shot at the Broncos.
“Always helps when other team is DUMB— LBer on Gronk on 2 yd line? VON MILLER!?” Flannelly adds. “I really like this team and we have a long way to go but I want ring 4! Rest, rehab, reflect— Lets get ready for this run.
I don’t think I’ve ever been this aroused before. Because it turns out Tom Brady was just a regular guy the whole time. That’s the best part about this whole thing. We got to find out what Tom Brady the person is really like because we got to see what he says when he thought no one was looking. Anyone can get up in front of the microphone and say a bunch of cliche bullshit about wanting to win, and how hard the team works, and blah, blah, blah.
But Brady really means it. It’s what he talks about with the Beav during this free time. Tom Brady isn’t just the perfect quarterback, he is the perfect person. We will never, ever see an athlete like this for the rest of our lives. Sucks to be a fan of any other team.

I would fight a grizzly bear to the death for Tom Brady
Did anyone else’s pants get tighter after reading that?
I’ve always considered Tom one of us ever since he admitted on D & C that he hates the jets.
