Worcester is going to shit for lots of reasons, but many of them revolve around Tracy Novick.

Screen-Shot-2015-06-23-at-11.47.57-AM (1)

As you know, she’s been teaming up with Chris Robarge and the ACLU to make sure that panhandler’s rights to stand in traffic and beg for drug money are not infringed upon. After the City Council passed an ordinance banning this eyesore, she filed a lawsuit against the city and eventually got the ordinance repealed.

“I really believe that the rules are supposed to apply the same to everybody,” Ms. Novick said. “It shouldn’t matter if it’s me asking for someone’s vote or someone asking for money for food.”

The School Committee member added that Newton Square is a Worcester “campaign hot spot” and said she’s seen people there holding political signs in recent weeks. She said she believes the city is targeting only panhandlers asking for money.

“Seeing that kind of discrimination happening on an ongoing basis is something that concerns me,” she said.

She “really believes that rules are supposed to apply the same to everybody.” Oh you mean like paying property taxes? Yea, funny that rule doesn’t apply to her because she lives in a tax free house in West Tatnuck.

Well, thank God she won, or else we wouldn’t have stuff like this going on in broad daylight:

So we’ve got people shooting at each other while driving down Harding Street, home invasions on Flagg Street, and lovely people like this shooting up in Lincoln Square. Things are looking up for Worcester!! If you like what you see, then keep voting for Tracy Novick, Joe Petty, Sarai Rivera, and Hilda Ramirez. If you think shit like this is a bad look for Worcester, then vote for the Turtleboy ticket in November.

This guy definitely deserves $15 per hour. Just think of how much better his life and the lives of those around him would be if the fry cook at McDonalds made $15 an hour?

Oh wait, the McDonalds on Route 9 closed right after minimum wage went up to $9? Oops.

This article is so fucking brainless. Let’s blame the opiate crisis in Worcester on some lady for running for office yeah that makes perfect sense. Blame something on somebody and then say vote for this person the author of this article is a complete lack wit numbskull. Try using some creative rhetoric to get the vote elsewhere you fool. And to just throw it out there I don’t care about Tracy or turtle boy or whoever the fuck you vote for because guess what the problems we face are going to still be here no matter who is in office.

This goes on in my neighborhood quite frequently, I have seen the police drive by and not even bat an eye…and just because politicians stand there during election time, they aren’t dressed like poor, hungry, scoundrels asking for money. These bumbs have no right to walk right up to our cars and look at us and ask us for money. Pretty sad I have to roll up my windows and blast my music as I am sitting impatiently, waiting for the light to change at Chandler and Park Ave. These bumbs work together and take up 3 blocks. Yes, of course I can take a different route, May Street, which can cause road rage…yes, I can waste gas just to go out of my way to avoid these situations…and I do. But, to inject yourself in public with heroine, then walk around like a lunatic, with no direction, wandering aimlessly, because you chose this life…well, it’s just wrong, and people tell me it’s not their fault, it’s a disease…give me a break, you can prevent being an addict, but, you chose not to….ok, I am done ranting…carry-on.

Many of these addictions were caused by doctors over prescribing Oxy and other opiates. Big pharma pushed these drugs on the doctors who pushed them on the patients $$$. This is well documented. Google is your friend.
Many patients become addicted. Once their doctor cuts them off they turn to the street. Oxy on the street is very expensive $$$. When the addict can no longer afford Oxy they turn to historically cheap heroin. Why is heroin so cheap nowadays? Why are we in ‘war’ in Afghanistan? Afghanistan is the heroin capitol of the world $$$. Heroin is a billion dollar industry $$$. Google that.
So for the addict to ‘cure’ their addiction they are prescribed more drugs $$$. But these drugs don’t cure the addict it simulates the high so the addict remains an addict $$$.
Also Narcan is now very expensive $$$. More addicts more Narcan more profit $$$.
And Romney’s Bain Capitol just spent $58 million on private rehab clinics. So who is going to profit on addiction? Big pharma and corporate interests.
So an addict is created by pharmaceutical companies to enhance their profits and the profits of investment capitalists.
So it’s not their fault!!! $$$$$

People like you are part of the problem. it is always someone else’s fault.

The addicts are absolutely responsible for their own situation. And not all started with prescriptions. But in those cases the doctors are not taking anywhere near the proper amount of responsibility. When the cut off the scripts to the patient, they make it sound like it’s all the patients fault to begin with and the patient is a bad person. They should be owning up to the monster they helped create and get them proper help instead of just cutting them off. Again, not all addicts fit this, but it is common

No, idiots like this buying prescription drugs illegally (or just flat out stealing them) is the reason why there’s now extremely restrictive regulations in place in this state regarding prescribing them.

A few months back I had a horrible infection in one of my teeth. The side of my face swelled up and I was in such excruciating pain that I couldn’t sleep or eat for days. And the dentist told me that, because of all the junkies, he wasn’t allowed to prescribe me Vicodin. Instead he told me to take a Motrin and a couple of Tylenol, and gave me a prescription for an antibiotic.

I’ve had Vicodin twice before, once after having my wisdom teeth pulled and once after racking up my shoulder. Not only did I not end up addicted to it, I had pills left over that I destroyed. And I only took half of one at a time because a whole one damn near knocked me unconscious. It’s called being a functioning adult who knows enough not to poison his body. Your supposed “Big Pharma” boogeyman has nothing to do with it.

Wow. This looks like Keith. He had a great job and would be making close to 50k right now if he stuck around. He had a bad drug issue and would nod off on the job. He ended up quitting. He comes from a good family so that is not the issue. I’ve know several kids who died from their addiction to heroin and all of them were high school/college grads with good jobs and good families.
It’s easy for people to say just stop using. But unless you have been there you have no clue what it’s like to live this life. It’s very sad for all involved.
Moral for all the young turtles out there, don’t even think about it or this WILL be you!

This nonsense is everywhere you go in the city. I no longer spend a penny of my money in Worcester because I don’t want to see this or deal with one of these scumbags asking me for money. I now drive into Shrewsbury to buy groceries, gas, etc…. Worcester business owners should be up
    In arms over this ordinance.

Is there a clearer picture? I think I know this schmuck (and yes dope is his MO).

This acceptance, PC, coexist fucking bullshit has gone to fucking far. It’s gotten to the point where we have to accept every fucking thing, including banging in public. Next beating your wife or murdering someone will be shrugged off and they’ll say “you just don’t understand” or “you’re not in his shoes”. NEWSFLASH I don’t want to be in his smelly ass shoes and catch athletes foot or God knows what else and I definitely don’t want to understand anything but how long his prison term is.
