If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.
Hi! In case you missed who the author of this is, I’m Manch. I wanted to note whose opinion is going to be represented in this blog since it differs from some other writers here. When it comes to the LGBTQABC123BLT community, I’m a tad more liberal and open because that’s just how I feel about the matter. The opinion that myself and other bloggers do share is that science is science and facts are facts. Physiologically, people born as male as just stronger than those born a female. Fact. Now, excuse me while I rip this athlete apart for fucking the system.
Recently, Dr. Rachel McKinnon won UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championship, becoming the first transgendered woman to do so. Good for her. And yes, I’m going to refer to her as “her” because I tend to respect that shit. Just don’t assume that I’ll always know what fucking pronoun you want. If you wanna be refered to as something, you need to tell me. I’m respectful, not a fucking mind reader.
So, Outsports, which is like a website about sports for trans people, I guess wrote this article that made me laugh my ass off and annoyed the shit out of me at the same time. The jist of it was that people shouldn’t comment on how a biological male fucking creamed these biological females, as if she didn’t have an edge in the compition. Apparently, that’s bigotry.
“Leave it to a bunch of jerks on Twitter to use foul, cruel and often factually incorrect language to try to tear her down.”
Stop right there. I know that a lot of people can be fucking assholes, but don’t expect everyone to agree with you. People are entitled to their opinion just as much as you are. It’s not “cruel” to point out that Dr. McKinnon was born a male and therefore has a physical advantage in sports against biological women.
Personally, I don’t feel like the majority of trans athletes transition from male to female specifically to win a sport. That’s a whole lotta life changing shit to go through just to run, or bike, or whatever faster and better than female competitors. I can’t imagine a single guy who’d rather cut his dick off, take massive amounts of estrogen and make themselves up to look like a chick just to win an event.
Let’s see some of these “cruel” things people had to say:
Oh my God, y’all! How disrespectful and motherfucking transphobic of these people to be pointing out that biologically, males are stronger than females! HATE SPEECH! I need to find a safe space to get away from these irrefutable facts that don’t jive with my opinion. Sad. How dare they point out that there’s a reason men’s sports and women’s sports are seperated for a reason. It’s almost as if people realized a long, long time ago that pitting women against men is unfair since the strongest female athletes will absolutely lose against the strongest male athletes!
Listen, I used to do concrete for a living. It was a shit job that I fucking hated because it was nothing but lifting heavy shit all day, every day. There are these thing called forms that we used that weighed 80-120 pounds and when we were setting up to pour the concrete, all we did was lift these things from one spot to another. Keep in mind I did this every day and so did the other guys on the job. No one worked out in between jobs, either. This is exhausting work and no one wanted to do a damn thing but rest on days off. Take a wild fucking guess who lifted more faster, male vs. female. Yeah, my male coworkers would lift 2-3 forms to my 1. To add to that, these guys were pure muscle without an inch of body fat, while I was a bit muscular as well, but still had a tiny bit of belly fat and little love handles. Why? Because men have higher metabolisms than women do, that’s just a fact. The guys on the job were faster and stronger than me despite us doing the same exact shit. They had an advantage called “being born male”. That doesn’t make me weak, it just means men are stronger by nature. It’s not that hard to understand.
::GASP:: How dare this cisgendered woman “massively agree” with the notion that men are just stronger and faster than women while stating that she means no “disrespect or discrimination”!? How fucking dare this bitch state her opinion that doesn’t fit within the narrative that biology plays no part in sports!? That’s discriminatory and disrespectful!
Are you starting to see how stupid this is? Welcome to 2018, a time where you’re considered “foul, cruel and…factually incorrect” when you state facts that don’t fit within a particular agenda. I’m not saying I yearn for the 1950’s, I’m just saying this is pure bullshittery and I took all I can take, and I can’t takes no more. Being progressive and being right are not mutually exclusive.
Again, I respect the majority of the transgendered community and I support those who live their life on their own terms. You can disagree with me, and that’s fine by me. I don’t expect anyone to align themselves with my point of view when it differs from my own. This is America, motherfucker. The land of free speech and free thought.
That article went on to say this:
“McKinnon is a trans woman, an athlete and an assistant professor at the College of Charleston. That she won in a women’s category drew a torrent of hateful reaction from people across social media that was almost entirely aimed at demeaning her existence and achievement.”
Nope. Now, I’m sure some people had some shitty things to say. That literally happens to everyone and anyone who does anything and leaves themselves open to other’s commentary. It’s called the Internet, look it up. People say shitty things all the time. The majority of people commenting on this were merely pointing out that biology is a thing, and physiologically Rachel had an advantage that biological female athletes didn’t. That’s apparently all it takes to “demean her existence and achievement”. Sorry guys, if you bring science into this that’s fucking hate speech and you’re a bad, bad person.
If you have the time, and are OK with a mind numbing lecture that’s half in German with some rambling about a BBQ and drinks, here’s Dr. McKinnon’s YouTube video entitled “Including Trans Women Athletes In Sport”:
The lecture is about how much bullying Dr. McKinnon has had to put up with. Transphobic, misogynistic and “negative” comments done went and hurt her feelz, so obviously people being nasty in the comments section is the same as a hate crime. I wasn’t surprised at all when this was found in the very first comment, presumably written by her students: “As an initiative consisting of philosophy students, our capacities are limited. Accordingly, we will moderate the comment sections of our videos insofar as our capacities allow us to.” Moderating the comments section = If you say stuff that doesn’t align with our thinking, we’re gonna delete you comment.
I was very surprised to find that this comment was left up, or rather not deleted yet. He’s so transphobic and misogynistic that he should be lynched. I’m clutching my pearls so hard, my wrist just snapped:
Whoops, those happen to be FACKS! I wouldn’t go so far as to say that estrogen is a performance enhancing hormone, but it certainly alters the athlete’s behavior and chemistry. Should it be considered doping? Maybe. Doping is typically referring to anything that would increase your chances of performing better than the people you’re up against. If a biological female, regardless of what their prefered pronoun is, took testosterone while competing in any sports event, that is considered doping.
The International Association of Athletics Federations ruled in April of this year that chicks can’t have more than “five (5) nmol/L ” of testosterone in their blood, no exceptions. here are the qualifications:
“(a) she must be recognised at law either as female or as intersex (or equivalent);
(b) she must reduce her blood testosterone level to below five (5) nmol/L for a continuous period of at least six months (e.g., by use of hormonal contraceptives); and
(c) thereafter she must maintain her blood testosterone level below five (5) nmol/L continuously (ie: whether she is in competition or out of competition) for so long as she wishes to remain eligible.”
I have no fucking clue exactly how much that is, but the fact that they had to put a limit on the levels of a performance enhancing hormones (testosterone) says that biology plays a role in sports. Period.
In the case of a male-to-female transition, simply taking estrogen doesn’t mean that a person’s testosterone levels are decreased, either. In this article by Medpagetoday.com, a doctor had done a study about this shit and it showed there “didn’t appear to be good correlation between the levels of estrogen in the blood and testosterone suppression.” There’s plenty of other clinical studies that back this up. Although, McKinnon has been quoted as saying “I’m still forced to have an unhealthily low endogenous testosterone value…it’s virtually undetectable it’s so low…way below the average for women.” OK, but what about literally everything else about your chemical, biological and physical make up? That. Shit. Counts.
Remember back when we covered those two dudes who smashed the shit out of girls in a high school track race because they put braids in their hair and decided to be chicks? Those two hadn’t undergone any hormone therapy whatsoever, and fucking decimated the girls they ran against. Those young ladies who had worked their asses off and trained to be as good as they were got robbed because two dudes realized they couldn’t hack it against other boys and got inventive. The girl who came in sencond place was cheated out of the Conneticut State Championship. Look at these defeated girls:
That right there are the faces of young ladies who know that they would have kicked major ass and that one of them would have taken the championship had they not been running against a dude.
This right here is the face of a trans woman who just kicked the shit out of biological women because she has a clear physical advantage having been born a man:
Not even gonna lie, love the hair. What I don’t love is how a person who was born a man can just hijack women’s sporting events. That doesn’t make me a bigot or transphobe, that makes me a realist. I’m all for equality and this is not that. Equality in athletics mean everyone invloved having the same the advantages and disadvantages and that doesn’t happen in cases where trans folks, undergoing hormone therapy or not, are competing against the opposite gender. It’s just science.
Why do we not have trans sporting events? That’s a really easy thing to do. Just have trans male and tran woman sporting events and then everything is 100% fair. Oh right, if we did that we wouldn’t be inclusive, because making everyone feel good and not hurting anyone feelings is far more important than what’s actually fair in sports. That’s bullshit.
I’ll say it again, I’m accepting of those who live their life as they wish. It’s a shitty thing when you have to go through life lying about who you are and I’m sure that it hurts like hell. Here’s the thing, though. Just because you’ve had to be in the closet for however long and people say mean things to you, doesn’t mean you get special treatment. You want equality, right? Well, why can’t people who identitfy as their birth gender have the same? Don’t get it twisted, every time a trans person is accepted toplay on a women’s team in a sporting event, those women get screwed. That’s not equality. I’m not saying trans folks don’t get to play sports, I’m just saying that shit should be fair. That’s why they split men’s sports and women’s sports up in the first place. Don’t be assholes.
