Trash Donkey Fall River Parents Kill 14 Year Old Son By Starving And Neglecting Him Because His Teachers Won’t Return To School

Fall River ReporterFall River Police, Massachusetts State Police Detectives assigned to the DA’s office and prosecutors are actively investigating the unattended death of a 14-year-old Fall River boy. According to Gregg Miliote of the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office, at around 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, Fall River Police received a 911 call regarding an unresponsive male at 107 Green Street. When first responders arrived on scene, they observed the girlfriend of the victim’s father performing CPR on 14-year-old David Almond. David Almond, who suffered from an intellectual disability, was rushed to Charlton Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

During the course of the investigation into David Almond’s death yesterday, investigators found evidence of daily narcotics abuse by the adults inside the home, and also determined that the deceased’s twin brother, who is also intellectually disabled, was a victim of neglect. The twin brother and a third child who was also residing in the home are now in DCF custody. Last night, investigators took John Michael Almond, 33, and his girlfriend, Jaclyn Marie Coleman, 26, into custody. Both defendants will be arraigned today in Fall River District Court on charges of caretaker neglect of a disabled person and possession of a Class A drug.

Coleman is also being charged at this time with assault and battery on a police officer and the obstruction of justice portion of the state’s witness intimidation statute. She is accused of attempting to destroy a cell phone in the presence of police officers and then assaulting one of the officer’s who attempted to stop her from destroying the device. The caretaker neglect charges relate to the surviving brother and not the deceased.

I couldn’t find any pictures of John Michael Almond, but I’m sure he’s a gem, much like his slampig of a girlfriend who’s top priority as she watched his son die was to destroy evidence and assault police officers. It’s not exactly a hot take to say that I’m disgusted by these people and hope they rot in hell for eternity.

But the fact of the matter is that ratchets are gonna ratchet, and Fall River is FILLED with ratchets. And although this child’s death from starvation is on his failed excuse for parents, it’s indisputable that this kid would be alive right now if the Fall River Public Schools were opened like they should be. He died from STARVATION!! He could’ve gotten a free lunch and breakfast at school every day. His teachers could’ve noticed if he was coming to school neglected, as they would’ve with his special needs brother. DCF could’ve been alerted, they could’ve been properly clothed, fed, and kept safe.

Instead they’re dead because their selfish, cowardly teachers refuse to be anywhere near them. They all deserve to be named and shamed for what they’ve done. This death is equally on the Fall River Educator’s Association, which has fought a return to school every step of the way.

But the plan doesn’t meet with everyone’s approval. Rebecca Cusick, president of the Fall River Educator’s Association, the union representing teachers, said the FREA’s position is that a return to school should start remotely with a transition to the hybrid model once infection rates improve. In July, the FREA surveyed its members twice and both times the majority supported a hybrid plan as a phased-in reopening. Last week, though, said Cusick, a third survey showed what she described as a “clear shift in what the members feel is best” with 70 percent voting for a remote start to the school year with 30 percent supporting a hybrid model.

Their main concern, said Cusick, isn’t with the plan itself, but with the COVID-19 infection rates in Massachusetts and Bristol Country trending upward. “Even with safety precautions in place, our members are fearful of contracting the virus or infecting loved ones who may be vulnerable. They worry about the responsibility of protecting their students,” she said, citing stats showing 100,000 children have tested positive for the virus nationally in the last two weeks of July.

What their “members feel is best.” The members are “fearful of contracting the virus.” The virus with a 99.9% recovery rate that poses no threat to children whatsoever. And because of this ridiculous, unfounded, unscientific fake “fear” they are willing to let vulnerable children from shitty homes DIE under their watch. Killer teachers.

Meanwhile, six months ago she was shaming protesters for having the audacity to wanna live their lives freely, operate their businesses, and not live in fear.

They have their own Facebook group dedicated to finding ways to keep kids out of the schools and in their shithole apartments with their junkie parents so they can slowly die from starvation.

Michela Rose, a music teacher at Morton Middle School and a co-organizer of the group first wanted to make it clear that it’s about keeping everyone safe and healthy this fall. “As a teacher and a member of FREA, I want to say we really miss our students. We would love to be back at work as normal, but it is just not safe enough to do so,” she said. “I love my job, I love my students and I would give anything to be back there. But it is a simply a matter of health and safety. That is very black and white to me – there is no grey area. It is just not safe to go back – yet.”

It’s just not safe for her to go back. Wonder why.

I’d like to ask the 14 year old boy is he feels it’s safe to go back, but he’s dead because Michela doesn’t feel safe teaching him in person.

According to her the other group leader teachers are Chelsea Jean, Nicholas Quigley, and Lauren Meehan.

All of them have the blood of David Almond on their hands. They did this. They killed a child. And they simply don’t care.

This is actually the fault of a failed system! I know these boys family history, they were removed from their mothers custody many years ago, and placed into the state of NY’s care ended in a foster home where they ended up being removed for security abuse placed in an inpatient home with all 3 autistic triplets together, but bc of covid the homes reduced capacity the 2 Brothers weren’t as developmentally delayed as the 3rd so they sought out the biological father 7 months ago….who had not been in the children’s lives for 14 years! The parents choose to home school the boys not bc teachers wouldn’t go back. I blame these filthy parents and the failed social workers who never ONCE! in 7 months checked in them!

Funny, the same thing applies to Presidents. They are also replaceable, and I hope that Trump dies miserable and alone (I’m sure Ivanka will quietly divorce soon) as karmic punishment for what he’s done to this country.

I am confused. Fall River is in school and if you are a special needs student school is available every day. Fully remote is a parent’s choice. This article is totally fiction.

    • Ghetto Scholar
      October 23, 2020 at 1:14 am

Therein lies part of the problem – you shouldn’t give parents the choice – education is essential and “remote learning” is even more useless for IEP students than it already is for typical ones. With exceptions for legitimate health issues, there should be no choice, just like teachers should have no choice. There will always be people who “feel” unsafe but irrational fears shouldn’t be the primary driver of policy.

      • Voice of reason.
        October 23, 2020 at 6:47 am

But the article says teacher choosing. The entire state made districts offer the choice. The state. So where’s the article about the governor? Seriously. Saying that teachers and the union have any control whether or not the state offers remote learning is a stretch.

        • Ghetto Scholar
          October 23, 2020 at 7:27 pm

Ultimately it is the teachers’ faults – not all teachers (maybe not even the majority of them), but DEFINITELY ones like the insufferable hypocrites featured in this article. If not for these people being very vocal about their cowardice in the face of a relatively mild virus, unions wouldn’t feel the pressure to advocate for remote learning. And if not for the unions pressuring the towns and the states for remote learning, we wouldn’t have kids staying home. Don’t get me wrong though – there are plenty of cowardly parents swaying the court of public opinion too, as well as the typical Massachusetts liberals pushing to sacrifice children’s needs for the sake of getting the election results they want.

Rest assured that when it happens to YOU, they won’t take you to Walter Reed and give you the best healthcare in the world, lol. I wonder what thoughts will go through your head when your kids are crying, “Daddy, I’m scared! Make it stop!” And all you can do is silently think, “I’m scared, too”, but you’ll try to keep up a brave face for them.

But when your wife’s condition deteriorates, what will you say to them? Are your kids old enough to understand the concept of death? That will be QUITE a conversation. And you’ll be in a such a terrible position, too. It’s obvious that you’re the kind of angry drunk father who normally leaves the raising of the kids to his wife. With her out of the picture, you’ll be so far out of your depth.

But, hey, at least you’ll save on the food bills once she’s gone, so that’s something.

So True! They have dumbed things down across the Board.
Starting in Elementary school all the way through Graduate school. I have a MBA and two Bachelor’s degrees I was 16 when I started my first semester in college ( I would tell Any gifted student given the opportunity to skip ahead in High school Not to do it, I Missed So Much by being in a rush. Your only a kid once Don’t squander it. You can’t Ever go back to being carefree and enjoying your teen years)
But I digress the point is the curriculum my kids have in 9th grade is the equivalent to what I had in 4th grade and the work I have helped my friend in her 2nd semester of college with is at Best Sophomore year High school and I don’t mean Honors classes just Normal high school curriculum.
There are some great Teachers out there who truly love what they do and go above and beyond to teach and make it interesting, sadly they are far and few between.
Public schools, Tenure and Teachers unions are Dumbing Down students and Now they don’t want to go back to work and put in even the half-assed efforts they did prior to the plandemic!
Shame On Everyone of them that hides behind this Virus!

The teachers or even the school nurse would have reported the condition he was in to DCF or even the Police. They should BOTH be charged with manslaughter. I bet they were getting high on his medication.

Isn’t it the parents job to make sure the kids don’t die? I think it’s just selfish to put the kids back in school when there’s clearly been several outbreaks already and it’s only October.

    • kingsraisins
      October 22, 2020 at 4:58 pm

It is an issue with the school and here is why: first, it’s a given that there are a lot of shitty parents out there. The cold hard reality is that for some kids, the only meal(s) they receive on any given day are what they receive at school. Teachers are required to report if they believe any students are being abused/neglected at home. In an instance like this, it would’ve saved the kid’s life. DCF would’ve been involved earlier. Here is the other issue: with COVID19, you have a lot of adults falling into depression and addictions. Who gets hurt? Clearly the kids that are abused/neglected with no safeguard. You may say ‘well, hey, that’s fine because it isn’t anyone else’s responsibility to raise another’s child.’ And that’s a valid point – but you also have to recognize that it isn’t a little kid’s fault he/she is neglected or abused. Because of remote learning this year, hundreds of thousands of instances of child abuse and neglect will go unreported, which at the end of the day, hurts kids. The MTA needs to be better. If we as a society choose to publicly fund education and prioritize it, then we also need to recognize that these people serve a critical function and need to be present for in person learning.

I totally agree with everything you say. I don’t agree with the teachers union. They are paid to teach, in school, not pajamas.

However, your facts are wrong as the students who have special needs in Fall River are in school right now and the general population is in hybrid or remote.

The teachers who are supposed to teaching this student should be held accountable as the school administrators for not reporting he was not in school. These parents should be charged with murder.
