Last year a woman named Haydee wrote this guest blog about her father, Jaime Fuentes, a corrections officer in Shirley who was accused by his ex-girlfriend of assaulting her. It was pretty eye opening. According to her the story that the Turtlegram and Gazette was reporting was filled with lies and holes, as usual. For instance,

“What you won’t hear the Telegram reports is that they never brought her to a hospital, she didn’t have a scratch on her, the bedroom where the altercation supposedly took place was in perfect condition, and none of the children knew what was going on except for the older son who she had make the phone call. Proof that the children were confused:”

Oops!! Guess the Turtlegram forgot to report on that. They also ignored the numerous instances of physical abuse from the crackhead ex-girlfriend, who was a public housing trap queen with five children. She also stole his guns, actively commits welfare fraud, had cases with DCF, and a violent documented history with prior boyfriends.

The Turtlegram didn’t report any of that stuff. They just wanted you to think that a violent CO was abusing an innocent woman.

Well yesterday the Turtlegram magically reported that all the charges were dropped:

But the damage they have done to his reputation cannot be repaired. Basically the “victim” plead the 5th Amendment because under cross examination from the defense she would have been forced to admit to committing welfare fraud and a number of other crimes which would have incriminated her. That and the fact that she would have had to commit perjury if she wanted Fuentes to go to jail.

Anyway, it’s scary when a psychopath welfare queen gets the benefit of the doubt over a veteran correction’s officer. She had no bruises and no evidence that she had been battered by this man. Her word was good enough and certainly was more valued than his. After he was imprisoned without bail the woman and her children remained in the house he owned, rent free. When he was finally granted bail he came back to his home and found all his stuff was stolen, the place was trashed, and his car was sabotaged.

This is another example of how officers of the law are under constant attack by the media and the court of public opinion in this country. And as usual, the Turtlegram fails to do even the most basic research because they are an agenda driven fake newspaper that whores for your clicks.
