Whenever we have Feisty Turtle on, things tend to get a little bit……kinky. Last night she was our guest on Turtleboy Live, but it quickly descended into an episode of Turtleboy And Chill. This is what we intended on talking about in the agenda:
And we did indeed hit on all of those things and more. But we also got into this whole big thing around the 37:30 point about circumcision.
Because there’s this movement by Facebook revolutionaries (most of whom do not have a penis) to stop circumcising boys. It’s not quite like the anti-vaxxer movement, because those people are batshit insane and the anti-circumcision people actually seem to make good points. But back in my day, almost everyone had the purple sombrero look going on. No questions asked. Now it’s more like 75% get the chop. Listen (also every episode ends with a Turtleboy free style rap recap, and yesterday’s starts around the 56:00 mark):
The commentary was better than it’s ever been. Lots of hot circumcision takes:
I can see both sides of the coin here. Pretty much everyone I know got the chop because that’s what you did in America in the 80’s. But I have a bunch of buddies who all insist that if they have boys, they’re not doing it. They don’t like the chop, and they wish they were rocking the anteaters. But not everyone who feels that way:
But at the same time, I would imagine the anteater can get annoying at times. Seems smothering. One of the most basic things that all life needs is air. So I would imagine the peel back on cold winter days or when you’re playing sports, can get a little bit tedious. Just sayin.
Anyway, if you haven’t started listening to Turtleboy Live, I feel bad for you. It’s the best show on the Internet by far. And we switch up the guests all the time, and occasionally take new guests if turtle riders inquire about appearing on the show. What we really want is for some haters to come on. Literally, anyone we’ve ever written a blog about has an open invitation to Skype into the show with us. I don’t care how ratchet you are. If we’ve written about you then you should have a chance to defend yourself. Because we’re all about being fair and balanced at Turtleboy Enterprises.
Here’s some of our favorite comments from the last night’s show…
Uncle Turtleoby got some rave reviews for his improving freestyle skills:
During the Q&A someone asked if we’ve ever written about someone who ended up becoming a turtle rider. I guess the answer is yes!
We’re hoping for a big crowd on Friday night at 9:30. See ya then. One.
