• 1st round games = 1 point x seed
• 2nd round games = 2 points x seed
• 3rd round games = 4 points x seed
• 4th round games = 8 points x seed
• 5th round games = 16 points x seed
• 6th round games = 32 points x seed

Basically it rewards you for picking upsets, as it should. Any cheesehog can pick all the favorites. But if you pick a 12 seed to make the Final 4 and they do, it’s worth 96 points (8×12), whereas picking a 1 seed to make it that far is worth 8 points (8×1).

Top 10% of finishers get free Turtleboy St. Patrick’s Day shirts that we’re trying to get rid of, as do the leaders after rounds 2 and rounds 4.

Gambling is illegal, and PayPal does not allow it.

HOWEVER, if you would like to send Uncle Turtleboy that $20 you owe him, we will also have a separate prize pool for people who are repaying Uncle Turtleboy that $20 you owe him. In order to do that make sure to send $20 via PayPal to turtleboysports@yahoo.com. Also make sure to choose “Send money to friends and family.”

Do NOT choose “pay for goods and services” because PayPal takes a cut when you do that, and you’re not paying for goods or services. You’re just returning that $20 you owe Uncle Turtleboy.

Once again, we cannot go on record in writing and say that we are organizing an illegal gambling pool. If you cannot read between the lines and figure out what to do here, then you are stupid and we would feel bad taking back the $20 you owe Uncle Turtleboy.
