Do you ever feel like a moron for having a job and trying to do things the right way? Because sometimes it’s hard not to feel like a sucker. After all, we’re living in a country and a state where it pays to not play by the rules. Want more proof? Check out this Facebook post from a local rapper and “businessman” named Big O:
Abe and Louie’s is a very expensive steak house in the Back Bay. Check out their menu. I have a feeling they don’t take EBT cards, but ya never know. Money is money. But just the fact that you can have an EBT card and still eat out like this proves that we are all doing it wrong. I’ve never run up a $630 tab at a steak house before, but it sure looks like fun. Must be nice to have zero worries like this.
According to his latest album “Unemployed,” he invests in drugs and sells Mary Jane, so it would seem that cash flow should not be a problem:
But of course when your money is made under the table and you’re not filing W2’s, the government doesn’t know about it. So they just throw money at you. All this time my teachers told me to work hard and go to college. What a bunch of liars. They should’ve told me to become a rapper and a hustler and vote for Jim McGovern. After all, this is a congressman who will NEVER EVER even think about regulating the food stamp program. Because there’s no abuse of the food stamp program. This is a congressman who tried living on food stamps for a couple weeks to prove a point. Here’s what he bought at the store:

You’re doing it all wrong Jimbo. Why are you shopping at Safeway when you could be treating the whole crew to steak dinners in Boston? Act like you’ve been there before rookie. What you should be doing is following the advice of Big O. For instance, only buy yourself brand new BMW’s,
Cover yourself in cash whenever possible
Invest in the local economy:
Spend your money on $30 scratch tickets
Spend a lot of time at Sweaty Betty’s or Centerfolds playing Keno
Spend your money at nice restaurants
Sell your ice to people who are down on their lucky with the ladies
Never, ever, ever get a job
Don’t BUY drugs. Sell them.
Do whatever this means:
Do NOT jump in on Big O’s tracks
Invest in weight loss diets
Be a good role model
Never stop rappin
Take it easy on the partying
Be economical with your habits
And the next thing you know you’ll be an unemployed millionaire.
For the record I don’t even care that this guy is doing this. His Facebook page is actually pretty funny. He’s not the problem. He’s just playing the hand in front of him and getting the most out of it. And why wouldn’t he? Like I said, you’d kind of be a sucker not to. The real dooshnozzle here is Jim McGovern and every other person who is resistant to any sort of EBT reform because they accuse you of picking on poor people. Turtleboy wants poor people to get assistance from the government if they’re using it as a stepping stone to self-reliance. And there are lots of people using EBT for that purpose. But the fact of the matter is that under the current system you can also use EBT to subsidize grown, abled bodied rappers who make their money under the table, eat steak dinners in Boston, and don’t pay an income tax. Just sayin.
