New England Patriots training camp started this week and it will be a season to remember. You want free tickets to a closed door invite only Patriots practice at Gillette? Well the Worcester Mass Fury will be selecting two lucky fans to go for free at Saturday night’s game at Worcester State. The raffle will be free for all children at the game who come with a parent. Bring the whole family down, watch Worcester’s semipro football team do what they do best, and go to the Patriots game for free. Can’t beat that on a Saturday night in the Woo. Sure beats getting shot!!

In case you missed it, Worcester’s hometown team the Mass Fury are 3-0 and pretty much destroying everyone they face in the EFL after their recent emasculation of the Boston Colts 62-0. Here’s the standings:

Dominant. The Fury is running on all cylinders and they are currently taking no prisoners. The game last Saturday can best be described as organized bullying. I mean, it was just plain mean what they were doing to this team. This is what the score was at halftime:

It wasn’t as close as it looked. The Colts didn’t get a single first down the entire game. It was slaughter from the beginning. Quarterback Corey Spencer continued to be the most dominant gun slinger in the league, needing only 45 seconds to throw his first touchdown of the game:

His favorite target was his former Worcester State teammate Dana Barry, who hauled in this beaut to set the Fury up for their second of many touchdowns to come:

Later on in the half Barry hauled in this absolute strike from Spencer and nearly facialized our camera man:

The Fury’s defense is the best in the league and the strength of the team. But it definitely makes it easier when the team you’re trying to stop is a walking abortion sandwich:

In the second half there was apparently an agreement to run the clock the whole time. Ya got that? No timeouts – nothing. They even ran the clock during timeouts. Didn’t stop the Fury’s backups from putting two more scores up on the board.

In the season opener we gave props to the Seminoles cheerleading squad for stealing the show. From Saturday’s game we gotta give a shoutout to #31 on the Colts, who literally kept cheering for the team the entire game. Even when they were down 62-0 late in the fourth quarter, he just couldn’t stop. If it weren’t for this dude, I’m pretty convinced they all would’ve said fuck it and gone to Wendy’s:

Their next game is Saturday at 7 PM at Worcester State. We really, really, really wanna see if we can get a big crowd down there. They’re playing the Bay State Bucs, who are MUCH, MUCH better than the group of lovable ragtags they beat up on last week. Trust me, it’s quality football and you’ll have a great time. As usual, there is a discount for Turtle Riders. Click here to get your tickets for Saturday night’s game.
