Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. I have a little rant to make folks. The media is out of control with their bullshit sob stories about federal employees who have missed one, I repeat – ONE paycheck, and are crying poverty. This is by far the worst one I’ve seen from WCVB.
Some government workers are going to extremes to make it through the shutdown, selling off items in their homes. Karen Mills and Casey Paxton both work for the IRS in Andover. They plan to sell kitchen appliances on Craigslist to make ends meet.
We’ve exhausted every resource,” Casey Paxton said. “Both our bank accounts are overdrawn.”
They’ve set up a GoFundMe account to get help from strangers.
“We’re in a position where we need help, if we get out of that position, we’d like to help other people,” Paxton said.
This week, the IRS said it will recall thousands of workers to handle tax returns, and the Federal Aviation Administration plans to bring 2,200 safety inspectors back to work. Thursday, a group is expected to rally on the steps of the Massachusetts State House to support furloughed federal workers. Some financial institutions are offering low-interest, or even no-interest loans, to unpaid workers.
They work for the freaking IRS. They’re tax collectors. Tax collectors are the villain in every single story of the Bible. They get paid to steal our money, and because they’re so irresponsible they want more of it. Fuck. Off.
First of all, according to the article they seem to live in Andover. Andover is one of the wealthiest towns in Massachusetts, and home prices there are insanely inflated as a result. They CHOSE to live there. If you can’t afford to miss one paycheck without becoming destitute then you are living above your means.
Secondly, they’ve missed ONE paycheck. Just one. And according to her she’s now pawning her kitchen appliances (which I’ll bet a million dollars is a bold faced lie) so she can survive.
If this is true (which it’s not) then no one should ANY sympathy for them. You’re grown ass adults working for the federal government who are so bad at personal finances that you evidently don’t have enough savings to survive one missed paycheck. Both your bank accounts are overdrawn? Are you kidding me? Maybe if you lived life responsibly you wouldn’t be in this situation. Government shutdowns happen. If you work for the federal government you should know that going into it. Especially if you have two incomes, you’re renting, and making this kind of salary.
Boo. Fucking. Hoo.
Thirdly, according to the GFM they are now behind on rent, pet food, and creditors are “blowing up their phones.” How the hell are you behind on rent in the middle of January? You got paid on December 29. Even if you’re living paycheck to paycheck that should cover January 1. Your next rent isn’t due for a month. Oh, and maybe don’t have three pets. Also, I’m not saying she doesn’t have kids, but if you look at her Facebook page there isn’t a single picture of any crotch fruits. Sure, some people don’t like putting their kids on Facebook, but she seems to document her life a lot, and there are plenty of pictures of her boyfriend.
Fourthly, they’re all going to receive backpay when this is done. Responsible adults use their savings to get through a time period like this and then reimburse themselves when they get their backpay. By having a GFM they are now making MORE MONEY than originally planned. Will they be paying people back once the backpay comes in? If you’re truly in dire need then wouldn’t it be appropriate to ask people to borrow money, which you will pay back once your backpay comes in?
Fifthly, I’m told this is illegal to do because they work for the IRS. Still trying to confirm that but either way the optics are not good.
Sixthly, just build the stupid wall. Every single one of our congressmen and senators in Massachusetts opposes a wall. But why? How does it affect them in a negative way? $5 billion is a drop in the bucket. A wall being built will have almost no effect on Massachusetts whatsoever. So if your constituents are allegedly suffering this much, then maybe our congressmen should just give Trump his wall so this can be over with and we can all move on with our lives. Congressmen have to compromise on shit they don’t like all the time. Imagine the Republicans shutting down the government because they refuse to fund Planned Parenthood? It would never happen. Every election cycle Republicans run on a platform of defunding PP, and every single time they vote for budgets that include funding for it. But nope, they just have to win the pissing match with this guy because they cannot let him win.
Seventhly, people they collect taxes from lose their jobs all the time. People get laid off, downsized, and fired. Hell, try working for Turtleboy. We’ve all lost a shitload of money in the last year because of what Facebook, Google AdSense, and Twitter. I have ZERO SYMPATHY for some government hacks because they missed ONE PAYCHECK.
But yet is Karen Mills in California, posted to Facebook less than three months ago.
Those plane tickets are not cheap. Neither are hotels in sunny California.
But wait, it gets better. Google “Casey Paxton Andover” and watch what comes up. Starting with this:
A man was charged with assaulting police after a strange 911 call and a police visit to Royal Crest. At just before 10 p.m. Sunday, North Andover Police received a 911 call in which the caller was silent and hung up. Police called the home, and a man reportedly said “This is bad and I didn’t do anything,” according to police reports. Police said it’s an ongoing issue and the woman living at that particular Royal Crest address calls 911 when the man would become intoxicated. When they arrived, police were going to take the man into protective custody, but he reportedly became violent and, in a struggle, assaulted the officers. Casey Paxton, 36, of 14 Royal Crest Drive Apt. 9, was charged with disturbing the peace, resisting arrest and two counts of assault on a police officer.
He was arrested for assaulting not one, but two cops, after his girlfriend called the cops on him because he was drunk (again) and out of control. Nice guy.
But yet this arrest was not enough for him to lose his job at the IRS, since the incident happened in 2013, and according to his LinkedIn he began working for the IRS in 2012.
But wait, there’s more.
Literally three months after being arrested for assaulting two cops, and while out on bail from that arrest, he was arrested for domestic abuse once again at the same address in North Andover. It says it was his wife, and Karen Mills is his girlfriend, so it appears as if his wife wised up and ditched this loser. Because that’s exactly what he is. A deadbeat loser who can’t pay his bills without a GFM, who gets paid good money to collect our taxes for a living, and who gets drunk, beats woman, and assaults cops in his free time.
These two are just liars and con-artists taking advantage of a gullible media looking for a sob story. Utilities and banks are being more than accommodating to federal workers in light of the shutdown. It’s simply inexcusable to find yourself in this position.
This is the GARBAGE the mainstream media feeds us in their never ending crusade to blame EVERYTHING on Donald Trump. This “research” I just did took all of three minutes. That’s all it would’ve taken for WCVB before they pimped out the GFM for these life failures.
