Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. This is Nikki and Scott Holland from Webster:

Meatstick city.

Up until the recently they were the owners of Pure Fitness, a gym in Webster. They had been pushing a special promotion hard for the last few months, contacting members via email about it frequently. The promotion was simple – $100 off the yearly price, plus a free 3 months membership, and you got to add someone to your memberships for free. It sounded like a great deal because you got 15 months of membership for $100 less than a year’s membership, PLUS a full year’s membership for someone else for free. If your spouse or boyfriend wanted to go there you would be getting $900 worth of memberships for $250.

“Times are tough?” It’s literally one of the healthiest economies in American history. I swear, people just love to use that phrase.

Lots of people took advantage of this deal because it seemed too good to be true. But what Nikki and Scott Holland didn’t tell their clients was that they were in the process of selling their business, and the memberships would not be honored by the new owners. Not only that, they weren’t even going to tell the new owners about the promotion, and basically let them deal with the fallout. To make matters worse Nikki told several people we spoke with that their memberships would be honored. When clients found out this was not true many of them tried contacting Nikki but were unable to reach her.

Lots of people are rightfully pissed about this and are airing their grievances in the Webster, Dudley, Oxford, Thompson Area Forum Facebook page:

My daughter bought a 15 month membership in August through a promotion. It was $250 for 2 people for 15 months. Cant tell me that they didn’t know they were selling the business back in August. This business practice makes me sick!

Happened to me too, been going there for years and Renewed in August for 15 months. Talked to the new owner and they said they didn’t buy the memberships, but for another 349 I can get 12 months.

Happened to me also. I have been a loyal customer for years. They really pushed that final sale emailing and calling me while on vacation! So I took it…. not happy that I was a good customer and basically scammed.

Happened to me. Membership push in late July/August. Purchased my 12 month membership for $249 on August 2nd. Came with additional 3 months free plus a membership for a family member. Check the Secretary of State webpage for their business history. This isn’t the first time they’ve screwed people over.

Yeah I’m out 437  for my husband and I and was suppose to be signed up until next November. It’s a hard hit we work hard for our money for someone else to take it and run.

The new gym is called Everybody’s Fitness Center. For some reason they were given access to Pure Fitness’ Facebook page and changed the name. So when you search for Pure Fitness on Facebook EFC’s page comes up. I find that odd. If I was starting a new business I’d start a new page. If you want to bring all the followers over with you you can simply create a new page and merge it. We do it all the time.

Regardless, it’s not EFC’s job to honor this deal, and the fact that they’re even honoring two months worth is generous of them. They made no money off of these memberships. The Hollands did. Where is that money? At the very least they should have given EFC all the membership cash as part of the sales agreement with a list of members who bought the package. Instead they pocketed the cash and ran. EFC made it clear to the angry customers that they never collected the money from the Holland’s….

After more and more people started talking about it Nikki Holland finally realized she couldn’t hide from this and began to return some emails. Here was her answer:

“Your membership is being honored.”

Except, it’s not. Nikki is just being a deadbeat and trying to do what deadbeats always do – kill some time and hope you stop asking questions. She’s trying to pass the buck onto EFC, and quite frankly this isn’t the customer’s responsibility to figure out. Either you gave EFC the money or you didn’t. If she did then she could offer up some sort of evidence, which would be easy to produce. Instead she just says, “That’s not true.” Sure thing toots.

As soon as we found out about this story we immediately contacted Nikki Holland for comment. Within hours she had deactivated her Facebook page. Nothing shady about that!!

Meanwhile Scott has not returned any of our messages, but his page remains up.

Oh, and look who the Holland’s are good friends with…..

Crack smoking deadbeat Dad conartist Mark Prince. If you’re not familiar with this clown, feel free to read any of the many blogs we’ve written about him. The fact that this career criminal and pathological liar is affiliated with this place and seems to be good friends with Scott and Nikki, is perhaps the biggest red flag of them all. Not only that, he was selling memberships and basically acting as their front man on Facebook:

But wait, it gets shadier.

In 2015 Pure Fitness was in the news after they were temporarily shut down for non-payment of taxes.

Of course Nikki claimed she dindu nuffin:

In the fall, Powerhouse Gym Fitness Center was foreclosed on and sold at public auction. The building was owned by Great Bay LLC and is now owned by Holland Real Estate LLC.

“Powerhouse Gym was here before and went out of business. It was minimal taxes that weren’t filed for January and February,” Ms. Holland said. “The Department of Revenue was wrong. That was being handled with the dissolving of the other company.

“There was a glitch of paperwork in the transition of the two gyms, one going out of business and a new business starting, in regards to what happened with the foreclosure of the building and a new owner coming in and taking it over,” Ms. Holland said. “We had to get some paperwork straightened out with our attorneys and make sure the Department of Revenue had that paperwork. And we had this gym reopen in hours, and that would not have happened if our members were in any jeopardy.

“The Department of Revenue came in here to shut down a business that was out of business,” Ms. Holland insisted. “They just seized a new business, a new building that is owned by a new owner … They didn’t have a right to be in here.”

However, Ms. Marigian said the Department of Revenue had no confusion in the matter.

The Department of Revenue doesn’t accidentally shut down your business by mistake because of a “glitch of paperwork,” which Ms. Marigian clearly pointed out was a lie that Nikki Holland was telling.

As stated, Pure Fitness bought out Powerhouse Gym, which did not pay their taxes. Nikki Holland claims that the DOR shut down Pure Fitness, not realizing that it was Powerhouse that didn’t pay their taxes. She wasn’t the deadbeat, Powerhouse was. Except guess who owned Powerhouse Gym…..

Mr. Meatstick himself.

In classic glory days style the former gym teacher and alumni from Bartlett Middle-High School made sure to mention that in his Bartlett High School Hall of Fame induction bio:

He was a physical education teacher at Bartlett and currently is the owner of Powerhouse Gym in Webster.

As you can see, this isn’t the first time Nikki Holland has lied to her customers about her finances. Powerhouse failed, she bought it from husband and renamed it Pure Fitness, and they tried to get away with not paying their taxes until they got caught.

The most messed up part about their recent scam was how hard they were pushing this membership package. It was too good to be true because it wasn’t really true. They knew they were selling, and they knew they had no intention of giving the money to the new owners. They knew damn well every time they cashed a check from one of these customers that they intended on taking the money and running away with it.

Don’t worry though, the Holland’s are living nicely. Their kids get to participate in traveling soccer teams that fly to international competitions…..

Go on vacations….

And Scott ran what seemed to be a profitable, and well attended speed camp at Shepherd Hill in neighboring Dudley this past summer:

Didn’t realize that public schools rented out their facilities to for profit scam artists like this. But I guess when you’re a Bartlett High School legend you get perks that other people don’t.

Either way, they have all this money to go on vacation, send their kids around the world, and have supplementary income from these camps. They can easily afford to refund the money that they basically stole from these customers. If not I hope every single one of them calls up the AG’s office, or at the very least takes them to small claims court. From someone who’s been to small claims court way too many times to collect money from deadbeats, this one is a slam dunk.

These two got everything they deserve and more. Ripping people off in the area for years. Employees checks were bouncing by 2012. Never heard a nice word about either of them.. only how many people they had robbed. I’m not sure they realize the full extent of how much they are not respected in this community.

They should have covered all of the equipment with advertisements that you have to peel away only to find more underneath so that going from one station to another takes several minutes. If that didn’t bring in enough income they should have begged their customers for donations.

Maybe the discounted memberships were a last ditch effort to remain solvent. That’s really not a stretch because this is the kind of thing that businesses do when they are struggling. Another thing businesses do is “fake it till they make it.” Pulling the kids off of travel teams and other lifestyle adjustments are bad for business. As the gym business goes they really didn’t do anything that unusual. They ran a bunch of gadget plays, ended up fourth and long and had to kick.

Every gym ever! Has a subculture and weirdness of some type going on, it may not have anything to do with a given owner or staff or it may be in addition to the owner and staffs own sub culture.

There are always the people who want to get in tight and be “friends” with the owner and or staff, clicks, behind the scenes groups whether exercise class or pumping iron. Never been a part of any of it, if you look for it, it’s fun to watch. Marky “momo the homo” Prince, what a douche. How irritating it must be to be in the middle of your work out and see Marky momo Prince heading your way, running his mouth like a 14 yo girl.

Very cool of the new owners to extend a membership to the members as they did. Big props to the new owners, hope they succeed just for that.

This may be a legal case the Maura Healey is willing to tackle, no identity groups to offend and her opponent doesn’t have a leg to stand on.

Girls named Nikki, or Nicki, or any derivative of same typically know how to screw. Prince didn’t write “Darling Nikki” by accident.

Take it from one who knows, stay away from chicks named Nikki.

All these gyms are the same trash, not sure why people pay so much for them. They are all run down, over crowded, and full of juice heads. If you want to work out, you might as well find the cheapest one possible, Planet Fitness is $10 a month. If you have to workout in a trash pit, might as well be bottom dollar since it’s all the same. For me, I made a gym at home by visiting the asset auction when one of these crappy gyms shut down.

Nikki is a edger too. She’s constantly working the bones behind Scott’s back. Apparently Scott has been on the roids for so long, he couldn’t get a hard on if you fed him Viagra intravenously. My buddy hooked up with the Nikker a few times. He said she has this edging technique where she slowly massages the top of the Purple Mushroom with both her thumbs and index fingers. Whilst all four digits are going slow and rotating, she got this full lip bob service that is to die for. My buddy said the last time she bunned one out of him, he damn near shit himself while blowing the gravy all over the place. I guess he let out a little silencer fart, but Nikki was a champ and didn’t flinch or miss a beat. Now that is a gym owner’s wife; now that is a 2-fer deal if I have ever seen one. I do have to make a correction, Nikki does not swallow the gravy though, she actually comes up and want to start kissing your ear and drooling that shit all over the place, sort of disgusting actually. YOU GO GIRL, good luck on your next endeavor.
