Editor’s Note: We originally thought this was a game between WPI and Clark because the story revolves around an alleged racial incident involving WPI students. Turns out it was Worcester State and Clark, which makes this story even more hilarious and dumb, because more than likely the Sunshine Kid and Boom-Boom were involved.
There are protests and then there are Worcester protests. And by definition Worcester protests are required to be bootleg versions of other protests. On Friday night a handful of ragtags from Clark and Worcester State went on the court dressed in all black and delayed the start of their schools’ opening basketball game of the season. Check out this sea of hilarious white people:
You know how I can tell these protesters are a joke? This guy’s hat:
Only a complete buttnut where’s a flat brimmed hat with the sticker on it.
The whole protest was apparently just a sea of white people
being led by this angry man in tribalwear
“Fuck this game, shut this shit down!!!”
Well they listened to you for three and a half minutes. Then they went right back into the crowd, because at the end of the day all these honkies care more about a basketball game than they do about your stupid, meaningless protest. They just didn’t wanna leave college without thinking that they had done something to fix racism in this world. Now their white guilt is alleviated and they can pat themselves on the back!!
So what’s this one all about? Klansmen on WPI campus? Nope. Some guy on the INTERNET shared a racially charged photo on an unaffiliated WPI section of Spanchat, which is social media for morons who think the Internet doesn’t last forever. You take a picture, share it, and then it disappears shortly after. Of course you can just take a screenshot of what someone put and then it lasts forever. Here’s the picture this nudnik put up:
Meanwhile, on @WPI snap… pic.twitter.com/MCuzzIlN3T

Alright, so first of all, no one knows who moron kid is. Secondly, he’s a harmless loser playing video games and saying ignorant shit on the Internet. That’s like 75% of Reddit right there. Thirdly, we have NO IDEA if this kid is a WPI student or even lives remotely close to Worcester. Because just like on Facebook, you don’t actually have to be who you purport to be. Turtleboy could join Mississippi State’s Facebook group and share racial stuff on there if he was a racist. It doesn’t mean that he is all related to Mississippi State.
Therefore, this might be the least relevant photograph ever shared on social media. Naturally then the protesters decided that this was symbolic of ever-present racial animosity at WPI, and they were left with no choice but to delay the start of a basketball game for 3.5 minutes.
Protesting is so hot right now on college campuses. If you go to a college where something hasn’t been temporarily “shut down” and your school’s president hasn’t caved to the demands of a bunch of overprivileged 19 year olds, then your campus is probably wack. Naturally then WPI President Laurie Leshin announced that the school is gonna hold a convo about race and diversity next Thursday.
The outrage on the Facebook machine is at an all time high too:
Ummmm….what part of the community is “condoning this behavior?” I must’ve missed that part. All I see is an anonymous, unknown person who went out of his way to get you riled up on social media and succeeded with flying colors.
Newsflash – the person who wrote the snapchat more than likely definitely does not go to WPI. And as disrespectful as what he wrote was, he still has a right to say it. Because in life sometimes people say stupid shit. You have every right to try to find out who they are, publicly humiliate them and ruin their life. Knock yourself out. But whoever did this definitely has a right to do it. Because the constitution doesn’t exist to protect your feelings.
And this seems like a reasonable thing to say:
Yea, he’s definitely armed and dangerous. I heard he’s strapped to the teeth on Call of Duty right now. Let’s get everyone riled up that there are white folks on the WPI with loaded weapons just waiting for the opportunity to kill some social justice warriors.
And look who showed up on Alyssa Perry’s post……
Because no one in Worcester better represents peace and love than Michael Jerry:
Keep up the good work SJW’s!!!

It’s fucking basketball if ever a time black lives matter. No they’re becoming a cult. Calling them terrorists leaves the option of them being freedom fighters, yet their free, just lazy.
SJW’s always lie.
I may be wrong, but I’m sensing a set-up. Me thinks the social justice warriors staged this to make themselves seem relevant and needed a platform for their bufoonary.
Making other people angry is not a good way to get a point across.
Damn it, I’ve been waiting my entire life for the perfect opportunity to start the “Let them play!” chant from the Bad News Bears, and I totally missed it!
