Friday is the day the unthinkable is going to happen – reality TV star Donald Trump will be inaugurated as the 45th President of the United States. All that whining.
All the complaining about the electoral college needing to be eliminated.
All the hopes that the electoral college would go against the will of the voters in their state.
All the millions of dollars wasted on recounts that gave him more votes.
All the destruction of property and shutting down of city streets.
All the talk of “not my President.”
All the articles from Slate and the Huffington Post vowing not to “normalize” President-Elect Trump.
All the Trump hate crime hoaxes.
All the whining about “fake news.”
All the whining about the Russians making people vote for Trump.
None of that mattered. Every single person who did any of those things wasted their time. They lost. Because they’re losers. And losing is what they do best. Because at the end of the day on Friday, Donald Trump will be President. And there’s nothing anyone can do about it.
Nevertheless, the resistance continues, including here in the Woo:
Someone sent this to us after it was distributed in the Worcester Public Schools. It’s important to point out that this was NOT an approved flyer that the City of Worcester or the WPS approved of.
No principals or teachers had anything to do with this. Students were just posting them to lockers and handing them out to other kids.
First let’s just establish the right that it’s pretty un-American to have a problem with the protest itself. The beauty of America is that idiots like this:
Can voice their opinions freely. And in return we can all point and laugh at them. That’s why I love America. I don’t wanna live in a country where freaks like this can’t present themselves for public ridicule. Seems like that would be boring. So yea, Mark Welch was right:
Also, make sure that when you correct someone’s spelling or incorrect usage of a word like “their,” that they actually spelled the word wrong. Because the only thing worse than correcting grammar and spelling on Facebook is when you correct grammar and spelling that’s already spelled correctly.
Note the time on Friday at City Hall – 12:45. Kids have school at that time. According to Worcester Magazine, the adults who are organizing this are encouraging children to leave school and potentially face suspension:
“We have to show Donald Trump, from Day 1 that we will not support his agenda of hate,” James Patin, a local member of the political group, said. “They wish to continue building together with whomever is against Donald Trump.”
Students are encouraged to walk out of school at 12 p.m., and march to City Hall. Patin said about 200-300 students are expected to take part. At 4 p.m., any students remaining at City Hall will be joined by others wishing to take part. The event is also expected to support the Black Lives Matter movement, defend women and workers rights, unite against hate crimes, refuse to deport immigrants and make Worcester a Sanctuary City.
“The role of students … is to spark a much larger movement,” Patin said.
He said his group fully expects push-back from the city, but isn’t worried about the ramifications. The group, he said, is prepared to fight back against mass-consequences, such as suspension, should it come to that. Worcester Socialist Alternative, he continued, stands with the power of students and inhabitants of the United States to voice their opinions and protest.
“It’s a student’s democratic right,” Patin said.
I don’t think James Patin understands how rights work. Ya see, kids don’t have any rights. They have the privilege of going to a free public school, but they don’t have any rights to leave that school until they are dismissed. You are not their parents. It is not up to you to tell them that they should skip school to come play social justice warrior empire with you and your smelly, pajama-clad, loser friends.
Look at this fat tub of lard. Wonder if he wants to work with us at the Telegram and Gazette!!! pic.twitter.com/6PqSrsg8Xu

He had his chance to vote on election day, but odds are he didn’t even bother. Because why vote when you can protest? Democracy is mad wack yo!! This 20 year old tub of Crisco looks like he’s got a lot of protesting in his future. After all, what else are you gonna do with a degree in sociological theory from Clark?
Oh yea, and James Patin also protested against the City of Worcester in 2015 because they offered to drop the charges against four idiots who blockaded the biggest intersection in the City so long as they agreed not to do it again.
James Patin, a 19-year-old Clark University student and member of Socialist Alternative, believes the possible charges being sought are a scare tactic. He also didn’t agree with the deal proposed by city officials.
“That’s not a compromise, that’s silencing,” he said. “That’s one more blatant attempt to keep us from expressing our right to freedom of speech.”
The bottom line is that Maureen Binienda needs to chime in here. As superintendent she can’t stay silent on this. She doesn’t have to endorse President-Elect Trump. She just has to make it clear to students that anyone who leaves school will be suspended just like any other class cutter will. Allowing students to decide not to go to class is a slap in the face to the teachers whose job is it to develop engaging lessons for all students on a daily basis. They put their heart and their souls into their work, and some shitstain kid who isn’t even old enough to vote is gonna walk out because some Clark loser told him to? Uhn-uhn. Not in our schools.
Anyway, wouldn’t it be a shame if a million turtle riders showed up to this event instead? Wouldn’t it be a shame if someone livestreamed it on Facebook Live, sent it to us, and then we broadcasted it on our Facebook page for the purpose of public humiliation? See ya on Friday hippies.
