George “Jaba The Hut” Russell Says Worcester City Council Needs More Diversity, Asks Opponent Davis Asare (A Black Guy) To Drop Out Of Race

This is our man right here, Davis Asare:
He’s a young family man running for District 3 City Council in Worcester and he needs your vote. Originally from Ghana, Davis represents the American dream. When he first came here he spent his early years going to school in Webster (definitely NOT the American dream). Davis moved to Worcester to raise a family after attaining an engineering degree from Holy Cross. They own a house in the working class neighborhood of College Hill, they pay property taxes, and he is exactly what Worcester needs if it REALLY wants to move forward.
This is the George “Jaba the Hut” Russell, his opponent:
He is what you get when Sam from Guess Who grows a mustache:
George is an entrenched, machine picked candidate who has been sitting on that seat doing nothing for the last six years. For example, Cookson Field is in their district. This is what it looked like a few months ago:
The Turtleboy and the Gaffney’s helped expose it, and within a day the city was doing a bootleg job cleaning it up. So Perrone Landscaping and Councilor Gaffney donated their time and resources to fixing it all by themselves.
George Russell HATES Turtleboy. When world famous poet/attorney Margaret Melican was denied a job she was qualified for on the City Zoning Board by corrupt Citizen’s Advisory Council member Etel Haxiaj because Margaret reads Turtleboy Sports, George Russell had her back, despite the fact that it was a blatant First Amendment violation:
It’s not the managers job – staff and the city manager should not be telling board members how to vote on anything.”
He doesn’t take care of his district and he tramples on the Constitution. So then why does he hold the office? Simple – he’s got money from the McGovern Crime Family and does exactly what they tell him to do.
And he’s in cahoots with Mayor Puddy and his handpicked State Rep Dan “empty suit” Donahue.
He’s a good soldier, which is all they require. He has over $30,000 raise for his campaign. Davis has less than $1,000. But nevertheless Davis has been the little engine that could in D3, walking around, knocking on doors with the fam:
Great guy. I’ve personally met him a couple times and he’s a classy dude.
But the machine does not want him to run. Earlier in the year George Russell actually approached him and asked him to drop out of the race in exchange for favors that Russell could repay. But because Davis Asare has integrity and cannot be bought, he told him to buzz off.
Then came Councilor/Pastor Sarai “I’d like to see a penis do that” Rivera:
She too asked Davis to drop out of the race because like Jaba the Hut, Sarai is an entrenched, machine picked City Councilor.
But here’s the thing. Davis Asare not only represents progress and a disruption to politics as usual, he also represents diversity. Ironically, here is what George Russell said at a recent debate:
Mr. Russell said City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. has done a good job diversifying the municipal workforce; he said city elected officials also need to “be more like the folks we represent.”
“Elected officials need to be more like the folks we represent.” In other words, Worcester needs more people of color on the City Council. You can’t make this stuff up. That’s what this guy said:
The same guy who asked this guy not to run for office:
Because diversity sounds great to these hypocrites, unless diversity means they lose their jobs.
And what did George Russell do the second a young, excited African-American candidate wanted to run for office? Tried to smear him with racist lies of course:
“Mr. Russell and Mr. Asare amicably discussed issues most of the evening, but responding to Mr. Asare’s contention that it’s time for a fresh face in the district, Mr. Russell, in his closing remarks, noted that Mr. Asare, despite saying he’s lived in the city for seven years, declared a homestead for a property in Revere in 2015. Mr. Asare’s campaign finance filings list his address as 10 Honeysuckle Road, Worcester.”
Just kidding, that’s not really racist. But these are the same clowns who use that word so freely when it suits them, so now they’re gonna know what it feels like to be on the receiving end of it. Trust me, Davis has lived in Worcester for the last 7 years. I’ve been to his house. They have beds and couches and shit there. They live there. It’s their home.
According to George a new face like Davis would be a bad thing:
“This district can’t afford on-the-job training,” Mr. Russell said.
In other words, we don’t have time to teach the black guy how politics work. Leave it to the fat white guy with the white mustache. He knows how to cut ribbons with the other white guys in suits and do what Jim McGovern tells him to do.
District 3 is my favorite district in Worcester. It’s the real Worcester. It’s not the ghetto, and it’s not the uppity NIMBY west side. It’s real down to earth people in Grafton Hill, Quinsig Village, and Lake Ave. It’s the part of the city where Turtleboy is most popular and where we deliver the most gear too. We implore the good people of District 3 to vote for Davis Asare on November 7, along with the rest of the Turtleboy Ticket:
District 1: Write in Turtleboy
District 2: Write in Turtleboy
District 3: Davis Asare
District 4: Coreen Gaffney (she’s still on the ballot – send a message)
District 5: Paul Franco
At Large: Michael Gaffney (he’s still on the ballot – send a message), Konnie Lukes, Gary Rosen
Mayor: Konnie Lukes
