Yesterday we published this blog about three Northampton SJW children’s authors who bullied the Dr. Seuss museum into taking down a harmless cartoon drawn by Dr. Seuss in 1937 because it was allegedly racist towards Chinese people:
Because everyone knows that the Chinese prefer spoons.
One of the three virtue signalers was a white guy named Mo Williams.
In the letter he wrote he specifically said that he objected to the “racial stereotype” depicted in the mural:
“… we recently learned that a key component of this institution honoring Dr. Seuss features a mural depicting a scene from his first book, ‘And to Think I Saw It on Mulberry Street,’ and within the selected arts is a jarring racial stereotype of a Chinese man, who is depicted with chopsticks, a pointed hat, and slanted slit eyes. We find this caricature of ‘the Chinaman’ deeply hurtful, and have concerns about children’s exposure to it.”
Because drawing caricatures of what real people from real places looks like is “deeply hurtful.”
Well, we have discovered that in 2006 Mo Williams wrote this book called
“You Can Never Find A Rickshaw When It Monsoons.”It’s basically him drawing pictures of people from around the world that feed into every stereotype about their particular ethnic group. Let’s take a look……
Did you know that 50% of people in India are pickpocketing thieves?
Well they are according to Mo Williams!!
Also, according to his doodles Indian men often run cigarette shops while barefoot, and pray in front of it like the silly Indians they are:
Others are evil taxi drivers who live to rip you off if you aren’t Indian:
The rest sell magic carpets.
Sucks to not be American!!
He also mocks these third world countries for not having toilet paper and speaking languages that are not English:
Then there’s the goofy Malaysian people, and their wacky religion of Islam which allows them to have more than one wife:
Anyway, we’re not actually offended by any of this because we’re adults and we don’t have a stick up our ass. We’re only pointing this out to illustrate two things:
- Mo Williams and people like him are gigantic hypocrites who don’t practice what they preach
- Mo Williams and people like him are not actually offended by a caricature that Dr. Seuss drew in 1937. If they were offended they wouldn’t draw cartoons like this. They’re just reading the room and the culture in Northampton, and virtue signaling to get some cheap SJW points.
And he almost got away with it if it weren’t for that meddling Turtleboy!!!
