Laughlin Kennel is back in the news, and as usual it’s bad news. Turns out they’ve won an award………..for being one of the Top 100 worst puppy mills in America:

Looks like the humane society has been reading some Turtleboy. After all, their list references the former employee who documented the things he saw at Laughlin Kennel on one of our blogs. Like the dogs being stuffed in cages that were clearly too small for them:

And the effect it had on their backs when they tried to walk.

Or the bags of dead puppies in the basement

Or how employees with no licenses or training were giving out vaccines to dogs, per the orders of management:

Or the breeding dogs who are clearly very sick and malnourished, walking around in their own feces:

And all the complaints of people buying sick dogs puppies from there:

And the incessant barking and screaming that neighbors on Larned Rd in Oxford have to put up with:

So the word is spreading about this dump. No clue how it’s still open, but don’t buy your dogs from puppy mills. If no one buys from them then they can’t keep importing these sick dogs that come in crates from Kansas.
