So for the past two Tuesdays, and every Tuesday until election time, there was an open candidates forum for people running for Worcester School Committee and City Council. It’s being put on by a group that calls themselves, “Men of Color Thinktank.” But don’t be fooled – it’s the usual hippies just with a different acronym, and there won’t be much “thinking” going on either.

Basically the major organizers of these meetings are notorious Top 25 Hippies, including Wanda (6th), Nate Pickens (8th), RBG (4th), and Michael Jerry (22nd). Why any serious candidate for office would EVER think they owe any of these geniuses answer to any questions is beyond me. Their first meeting was in late July, and Wanda wasn’t too happy with “sugar” white folks who didn’t wanna show up during a thunderstorm:

This seems like a reasonable person whose impromptu debate should be taken seriously. Some people brought up the point that it seems kind of….specific..to have a meeting that only caters to one particular demographic of Worcesterites. RBG wasn’t having none of that:

He has it so hard doesn’t he? Once again, I have no idea why anyone would ever think they owe answers to a dangerous man who jumps on trucks in Kelley Square and threatens to skullfuck your family if he doesn’t agree with you.

But for whatever reason more candidates showed up for the second session this week. And we’re gonna call them out for it. Because at the end of the day, THESE are the bad guys. Pickens, Jerry, RBG, and Wanda are rabidly racist. They’re also dangerous too, as we have screenshots of physical threats that they’ve all left online during the past month. Let’s see who was there.

First we had the candidates who we already knew are fully in bed with these hooligans. The online reverend Sarai Rivera

Those people were all SUPPOSED to be there. They’ve all seen the line in the sand drawn between normal civilized taxpayers and the buttnut patrol, and they’ve made the choice to align with the latter.

But what I don’t understand is why all these other politicians showed up? Do they think these poopsmoochers still matter? Ummm, there’s like 20 of them. Those of them who do have employment are all working for some bullshit organization that gets grant money from the government. None of them probably votes either. They are literally as insignificant as you can possibly get. Hopefully it was a one time mistake for these folks, and once they realize who they’re dealing with they’ll realize that going to these things is a gigantic waste of time. We’d like to believe that the following people learned their lesson and won’t be able to make it to next week’s meet and greet…

and Phil Palmieri

11800318_734906693304336_6519481263141189404_n (1)

Is Phil Palmieri even a real person? Why does he carry himself like he owns a Goddamn NFL franchise? Better question – why is he chumming it up with Nathan Pickens, a guy who said all these things:

Screen Shot 2015-08-06 at 1.30.18 PMScreen Shot 2015-08-06 at 1.31.50 PM Screen Shot 2015-08-06 at 1.32.00 PM Screen Shot 2015-08-06 at 1.32.22 PM

I’m not sure what Nathan is telling Phil in that picture. Maybe he’s explaining what a “coon” is, or how he’s allowed to call Mesfin Beshir a “house nigger” because “black people can’t be racist.” Maybe he’s telling Phil that if he doesn’t vote to keep giving money to Mosaic that he is going to “Django” him:

11844049_10204702228144173_275808484_n

Regardless, I’m sick and fucking tired of people like Phil Palmieri who try to play both sides of the fence. If you’re laughing and chumming it up with Nathan Pickens, then you’re part of the problem. And anyone who is serious about getting elected to office would be wise to stay far, far, away from anything where Boom-Boom, Sarai, Mike Jerry, Nate Pickens, and Wanda are guest speakers.

Should we organize a Turtleboy meet the candidates forum? That’s a forum that would actually matter.

    Dear Turtleboy Sports editor.

As a reader of your blogs on your website I happened to read that you were critical of the “Lawn Chair Debate: Candidate Forum hosted by the Men Of Color Think Tank.

As A member of MOCTT I would like the opportunity to share my thoughts on the article. Men Of Color Think Tank consists of much more than “hippies”.  We are union workers, Pastors, Reverends, Ex convicts, fathers, among others who hope to improve the status of the community.   That in itself is a reason why candidates who attended Tuesday’s events are not part of the problem.

We have different opinions on a lot of issues and are learning to work together despite our differences. This is a hope of mine in our great city of Worcester. I may not agree with some of the things that Michael Jerry or Nathan Pickens but I respect their passion and convictions because I know they want the same things you do. They want a better Worcester.

I honestly believe you want to see a stronger, greater, more welcoming City.  However I honestly believe if you actually got to know some of the “hippies” you’d see that they’re not as bad as you believe. And honestly vice versa.  I believe that there are those of people in the community who believe differently and people who are “Turtle riders” not only can co exist, not only can respect each other, but can also work together for the betterment of our great city of Worcester.

    Sincerely.  William McNeill

Thumbs up for the post and the diplomacy. There is some history to what happens when a suspected TB sympathizer actually shows up to these events. The truth of the matter and everyone knows it is that if there were a TB lead rally with majority TB supporters nobody with a dissenting opinion would have to worry about being threatened with a skullfuck let alone being physically assaulted. Be the ambassador and help us bridge the divide.

Sorry; Maybe I missed it… what exactly did they talk about at the meeting? Anyone know? Is there ‘meeting minutes’ somewhere that could give this meeting credibility? Anything get legitimately solved? In theory if there was something functional caused at the meeting that would at least defend someone from getting blasted on TB sports just for showing up to a meeting, just to not be partial, I would like to hear it. Dang it, I don’t want to assume anything, but…

These people crave attention, and anyone who doesn’t give it to them is a racist/bigot/creep/asshole/etc. They are all acting like 15 year old middle class white girls. Clean it up.

These hippies are some of the most vile beings in Worcester, maybe the planet. Sad thing is this all started from the Whitehouse, then down to Warren now this. Think about it, terrorits freely roam this country and gangs freely roam Worcester.

Anybody know if George Russell has a son named Jimmy? If so, that dude used to cash disability checks like it was his job (because it was) while I was working customer service at Shaw’s Gold Start Blvd. while I was in college. Do people just get bored and go into politics in this friggin city?

anyone see the comments from Robert and MISS CAPSLOCK on T&G, as a Hispanic male who’s parents came from La Paz, I am deeply ashamed to be considered a “person of color” if this is who I am associated with. Those comments project their own racial tensions out at people, this is who the politically established align themselves with? puke

    The one bullet vote.

I 100% care way more about Cecil the lion, than I do about people of color in Worcester….who are creating a threatening and war like atmosphere around town. I also think the title “Men of color think tank” does not sound right. At their next meeting, the first order of business should be to get a catchier name lol.

We are not voting for anyone who attended, sorry Lukes, OConnell. And Novick long ago lost our vote.

If someone has a political cause they want to promote, they should be able to do it. No arguments there, I hope.

Political hopefuls must seek photo ops, get their name out there. I see no fault in any pol attending a political meeting.

But in the interest of fair play, said pols should be asked about the causes they support and the meetings they attend. What was the purpose of attending this meeting, Mr. Hack? Glad handing? What did you take away from this meeting? Will it influence your policies? Do you even care?

Those are fair questions to ask. One could also ask why certain pols didn’t attend and whether and when they were invited.

TB should host a candidate meet & greet at a public location. Let’s let these pols know our expectations.

standing beside Nathan Pickens is literally standing beside one of the most vocal racists in Worcester. Your blog is doing well and shit, you got the hype and peopling lining up to advertise. Its time to put it into second gear. Jafreese comment is spot on, we need you to do more for the political landscape.

I can’t believe that people would hold a “meeting” each week titled, ” Black Men’s Think Tank”! Personally, I wouldn’t like to see something called, ” White Men’s Think Tank” either! Or for ANY other race! It’s OBSURED and OVER THE TOP RACIST! Why can’t all of the people of Worcester rally together and hold a large gathering of ALL colors, shapes and sizes?! Perhaps call it something productive ? Not a ” title” that further sets us back as a country of divide??? I would think all the people of United, Collective, Wanda, Robert, Clive, Sonya, Sarai and so many others would want this. I’m sorry, but by putting together something titled, ” Black Men’s Think Tank”, I feel like you have offended every other person that works SO hard to get away from this divide! You preach change… Don’t talk about it, be about it !

    1. Boom-boom is in danger of losing her junior smokeshow status.

    2. What is that guy doing in that second picture of Wanda? Getting ready to slap her? Give her a high five? Is he trying to drive Satan out?

    3. The fact that Juan Gomez wore that fedora means you can ignore anything he ever has to say, forever.
