More great breaking news from Mosaic – according to an email from Ed Augustus, they’re all going to jail:
“Questions have been raised in regard to recent payments made as part of the state Prevention & Wellness Trust Fund. In order to get all the answers, I have asked the Attorney General’s Office to look into this information. In the meantime, I have put a hold on all reimbursements to Mosaic Cultural Complex and an update to their contract which ran until Dec. 31, 2015. I believe that asking an outside, independent agency to look into this matter is the best course to promote transparency and ensure public confidence in the expenditure of these state funds.”
Ehhh, problably not jail. But the fact that the Attorney General is investigating them means they’re more fucked than they were yesterday. And let’s just clarify the lie Fast Eddie just told in this statement – he did NOT ask the Attorney General’s Office to look into Mosaic. They called him. Because make no doubt about it, Fast Eddie is in trouble. He could lose his job over this. He’s the City Manager and he had the power to stop this and he chose not to. After the audit came back he could’ve told them no more checks. Instead he gave them a mulligan and Mosaic repaid him by doing this:

So yea, why would Fast Eddie call up Maura Healy and tell her to investigate something that could result in him losing his job? Doesn’t make any sense. He’s just pretending to be transparent. Another lie that Turtleboy forced him to tell. Just like his fake apology when he forgot to plow the roads. If any of the 11 City Councilors votes to renew his contract when it’s up they should be tarred and feathered.
The best part about this is that back in July at the final Department of Justice “race discussion” in Worcester, Maura Healy came on down to the DCU Center to see what was going on. Our girl WANDA was convinced that this was the beginning of the end for Turtleboy Sports because Maura Healy smiled and nodded and posed for a couple pictures with her:
Then there was the speech that WANDA gave at this meeting, in which she pointed out that TBS is in fact a “hate crime”:

So many hot takes there. I’m sorry WANDA, but Maura Healy never had any intention of investigating a blog. You should’ve probably realized that on your own. Because obviously the AG of one of the biggest states in the country isn’t gonna waste her time “investigating” a blog that’s simply reporting the news and offering opinions on it. Maura Healy is a democrat and paying lip service to people of color is how entrenched white people like her stay in power. She was playing you and you fell for it.
Because ya see, the Attorney General looks into major crimes by powerful groups. And Mosaic is pretty powerful. At least it was. They had the backing of a congressman, city manager, mayor, and every fake pastor in Worcester. So when her officer gets bombarded with phone calls after we exposed that Mosaic employees were blatantly lying about hours that they worked, THAT is something she will actually investigate.

The AG and the city manager are two birds of a feather on the LGBTQ spectrum (whole alphabet soon?), so they might cover for each other. Nothing bonds people like an abnormal psychology.
Eddie’s is just passing the buck to the AG to provide him some cover. No way a liberal hack like Healy has the integrity to out a fellow politician buying votes or one of the special interest race groups that was created solely to feed at the public trough. The City Council will extend his contract with a big, fat raise (with Lukes and Gaffney the only “no” votes). Take it to the bank.

I understand that Brenda Jenkins was just at Auto Zone picking up a bunch of pressure gauges so that Mosaic can begin checking pressure. Next they will be rounding up as many clients as they can find to show they are providing vital support to those at risk.

There is no other conclusion that can be drawn. It’s that simple. No other city manager would need the attorney general to manage city funding. Eddie is a politician who is owned by special interests. Wake up City Council. Your boy is bad news for the Woo.
