So Worcester has this mosque down on East Mountain Street that has been trying pretty hard recently to show the community that they’re just regular folks who happen to be Muslim. We applaud that. But apparently there is one man who either didn’t get this message, or outright rejects it. Because it appears as if he has launched the fifth crusade by standing outside the mosque frequently, bearing a wooden cross on his shoulder.

So yea. That’s one way to spend your Friday. I’m just wondering what message this guy is trying to send here. To me this is pretty much has to be a declaration of war, right? Who does this guy think he is? Richard the Lion Hearted? It’s not like he just happened to be walking down East Mountain Street and he stumbled upon the mosque every single day. What’s next? Is he gonna sack France after this? And what happens when someone comes out of the mosque and gets in their Hyundai? Can you say, awkward?

Anyone know anything about this guy? We’d love to know more. Worcester really is a magical land of enchantment.

That neighborhood on E. Mountain doesn’t appear to have any public parking nearby….I’m assuming the smaller building next to the school is part of the Alhuda complex. He’s okay on the sidewalk, but I wonder where he parks his car? Might be funny to get it towed. And then, he can walk with his cross, just like his Boss did. Bonus points if he flagellates himself along the way.

I usually see him walking up and down the other side of the street from the mosque.

He also looks eerily like the guy who used to show up on the Umass Amherst campus with his kids to tell us that we were going to hell.

I think that is the same man who stands on the corner of S Ludlow St and Clover St every Sunday. If it’s not the same guy then there’s two of these guys holding big crosses all day. But it never fails I see him every Sunday morning on my way to work just standing there holding that big cross…

Ok I’m gonna go way out on the proverbial limb here and preference a scenario where this might be an old deranged man who thought he was standing outside of Hooters with a sign that said, “Hey baby” but the sign was shaped like a cross so no “baby” responded.

He might have been hungry for those “to die for” chicken wings I’m just sayin.’ NOTE: I just watched all 6 episodes of Andrew Dice Clay on Showtime so my brain is officially fucked worse than before. God spare me!!!

“Anyone know anything about this guy? We’d love to know more.”

Then pull over the car and ASK him!
You are starting to sound like the people from SEB who use FB to cry “what to do, what to do,” but actually want someone else to “do ” it for them!

Muslims are called moderate and “normal” until the moment they pull the trigger. Even when they support banning gay sex and support terrorism.

Just wow. The Muslim folks that I actually kno that are members of that congregation are REAL Americans. By that I mean that they are family oriented, employed (actually most of them are entrepreneur capitalists who employ others) and just generally assets to the community .

      April 15, 2016 at 10:07 pm

Assets to the community you say?

You asshat! Have you forgotten recent history?

Muslims flew a plane into the World Trade Center, killing innocent people. The Muslims should be rounded up, tortured, forced to eat pork, and then killed! Jesus demands this, and died on a Cross for this.

Ahh yes, the sacking of Fancia, if the Vikings had only… ohh your talking about Christians. Bleh.

Vikings were much more fun than those uppity Christians and their one God and all those rules. Vikings killed and plundered for the glory and for the loot. This guy? I think hes just lost on his way to, well, the looney bin.

    Live and let live stupid.

And isnt he a little confused? I dont know much about all this GOD stuff but shouldn’t he be outside a Jewish Temple? Arent the Jews the ones who killed Jesus? What did the Muslims have to do with this?

This guy should keep walking, hes in the wrong part of town to be carrying a cross looking for people to blame. or maybe hes not blaming anyone. I dunno.

“Arent the Jews the ones who killed Jesus?”
Nope – read the New Testament – Jesus said no man took his life from Him and that He willingly gave it up to give us a way of being saved from our sins.
