If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.
Nothing surprises us with Facebook anymore, but the Turtleboy Sports Forever page, which had 25,000 followers, is permanently gone now because our profile picture featuring an American flag violated their community standards:
A profile picture we put up on the Fourth Of July.
They’ll allow this though….
Because this elected official has the right opinions. Giving the middle finger to the Vice President is cool, but having an American flag as your profile picture is not. That about sums about Facebook’s entire operation.
Just add it to the list of things that Facebook has banned us for, including the Turtleboy statue itself in downtown Worcester….
Wishing people “peace, love, and happiness to all” on Christmas morning….
Urging people to take life every day one step at a time in order to pursue their dreams (because this was “promoting sexual violence”):
The Fourth of July isn’t the only holiday we’ve been banned for celebrating. They’ve also taken us down for Thanksgiving
And of course supporting murdered Yarmouth police officer Sean Gannon….
What are you gonna do? It costs millions of dollars to file a lawsuit against this monopoly that congress refuses to regulate. Facebook is the most powerful company in American history and politicians are just too stupid and unfamiliar with the Internet to realize it. John Rockefeller controlled oil. Andrew Carnegie controlled steel. Mark Zuckerberg controls the flow of information and news. Which do you think had the most power? I’d say the guy who can decide what billions of people see every day by fucking with his algorithms and getting rid of media outlets like Turtleboy that blog real news.
Henry Ford at least had competitors. Who is Zuckerberg’s competition? Where do people go if they’re unhappy with Facebook’s customer service (yea, we’ve paid them money so we’re customers)? Twitter? They’re almost as bad, and have a fraction of the users. IG? Facebook owns them, and IG is pretty useless for sharing content. Oh right, Facebook has no competitors, which would make them a monopoly. Yet congress does nothing to limit their power. Insane.
Anyway, I really hate wasting time complaining about this because it’s just the same old shit over and over again. We need a new strategy. The best way to get Facebook to fix this is negative publicity. It’s pathetic that a major conservative outlet like the Daily Caller, Fox News, The Blaze, or Breitbart hasn’t picked up on this. All it would take was some really bad publicity (like shutting a page down for an American flag or a police badge honoring a murdered cop) for Facebook to press a button and fix our shit.
So how do we do that? Here’s what we ask turtle riders – should we start organizing campaigns to mass report the Facebook pages of conservative media member and/or outlets who aren’t writing about this? They probably think there’s gotta be more to this story and we deserve to get shut down, because they’re too lazy to actually research it. What if we picked one of them and took them down for nudity, Kevin Lynch style? Hell, we are willing to pay Kevin Lynch by the page if he’d do it. It would make them realize just how problematic and arbitrary Facebook’s reporting system is. Personally I’m opposed to censoring speech, but I feel like it’s time to get a little bit dirty. I’m down for a war against whoever. Vote in the poll below to decide…
