So last week in Orange there was a horrific murder/home invasion in Orange, and 94 year old World War 2 veteran Thomas Harty was killed while his wife Joanna Fisher suffered serious injuries. Yesterday they found the two scumbags who were driving their stolen car in Rockbridge County, VA – Joshua Hart and Brittany Smith. They’re real gems:
Josh Hart seems like a real winner. Somehow he recently got an award from the Athol Public Library for writing down why the library is important to him:
“It’s a place of adventure where one can be transported to a new area of learning, either educationally, or recreationally. Plus the staff is amazing.”
Right. Because when I see this face the first thing that comes to mind is “reading”:
Honestly, if he didn’t want the cops to find him then he should’ve just hid in the library. It’s the last place anyone would look to find him. You know why he did this right? So he could get a gift certificate to a local restaurant that he could then trade in for cash and buy some more boogar sugar.
No word on the motive or anything like that, but they’re two of Athol’s finest so I think we all know what this was about. I’m gonna guess the victims were targeted by these two assholes because their age made it more likely that they take pills. And by the looks of those mugshots, these two nudniks are no strangers to pills. Who knows why they killed him and nearly killed her. Most likely because they’re gigantic pieces of shit looking for their next fix. It’s not like the poor 94 year old man could put up much of a fight against them. Can’t wait for the SJW patrol to chime in now about how these two aren’t really criminals. They’re just people suffering from a disease, right?
It’s cool though, because according to Brittany’s Mom she didn’t do the killing so she should be in the clear:

That’s an Athol run on sentence for the ages. I bet Thomas Harty was a really good person when you got to know him too. But he’s dead because of these assholes, so we’ll never get that chance. Poor guy survived the Japanese but he couldn’t survive two scumturds from Athol.
Oh yea, and for the record, she made a choice to get in a stolen car with this Voke-stache gone wrong and drive to Virginia with him. Pretty sure she wasn’t high during that time. She could’ve stopped at any point and turned him in, but she didn’t. Because she’s just as guilty as he is.
According to her brother when she gets out of jail she “won’t need backup”:
Don’t worry kid, she won’t be getting out of jail any time soon. Luckily for her boyfriend they have a great library in Shirley. And his new roommates are really gonna enjoy his company.

Thomas was not only a Veteran but was still working at 94 years old. It’s a shame to make it all the way to 94 years old and die in fear in a home invasion in your own home by a couple of pieces of garbage. What a tragic story.

Reading is FUNdamental. It would appear that this young lad just got a little too excited after reading some spellbinding adventure yarn. His girlfriend seems to be an innocent victim of circumstance. This unfortunate incident is only one of those growing pains that our outstanding youths encounter on their way to multicultural maturity.
