Hyphenated SJW Administrator At WPI Offered Students A TV-Free Safe Space With Complimentary Hugs For The Inauguration

This is why tuition and fees are so high at WPI. Because people like this get paid to make safe spaces from current events.

Here’s a hilarious email sent out by WPI’s Associate Director of International Students and Scholars Office to all staff and students about a real life “safe space” they offered for the horrors of the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States:

TV free zone!! Because current events are scary.

A space for hugs!! Because in Trump’s America you can’t hug anywhere else except for the safe space.

Some quiet!! Because WPI doesn’t have a library!!

8183_945588690799_7256895429492912208_n

Of course this is hardly surprising considering it’s WPI. Two years ago Laurie Leshin took over this once great center of learning, and she’s turned it into a social justice warrior breeding ground that’s giving Clark a run for its money. Then in early November she sent out this email to students and faculty that literally said, “cops are hunting black people.”

WPI President Writes Email To Student Body With Anti-Police Video Saying “White Cops Are Hunting Black People”

So yea, the fact that this is the kind of environment she has nurtured is not surprising in the least.

The woman who sent out the email about today’s safe space is everything you imagined she would be. Colleen Callahan-Panday. Because it’s a rule that if you’re gonna go through life being a queef sandwich, then you have to have a hyphenated last name.

As you can imagine, Colleen was a big Hillary supporter.

15032795_10205766100470360_6529332255967896797_n

On election night she didn’t know what to do with herself:

Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.18.24 PM

“A Trump America is completely foreign to me.” That statement summarizes the Academic “elites” better than anything else I’ve ever heard. The fact that over 60 million people thought a different way from her was “foreign” to her. Because people like Colleen Callahan-Panday live their entire lives in echo chambers. They never bother interacting with people who think differently than they do. When someone posts something they disagree with on Facebook, they block them. Because seeing things that don’t adhere to your world views can cause hurt feelings. There is a right and a wrong. They are right, and you are wrong. There is no middle ground or room for disagreement.

After the big L on election day she immediately offered a safe space for the grown adults paying tens of thousands of dollars a year to attend the prestigious university that will net them high paying jobs after they graduate:

Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.18.01 PMScreen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.17.24 PM

But luckily for the delicate snowflakes who will go on to build large buildings and design computer software, she has been wearing a safety pin, so they know she won’t deport them and/or grab them by the pussy:

Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.16.27 PMScreen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.17.02 PM

Oh, and she’s also been pushing to make WPI a “sanctuary campus.”

Screen Shot 2017-01-20 at 4.15.52 PM

Because as you know, WPI Police have a history of rounding up undocumented students in the middle of the night and sending them back to their birth countries.

If I’m a WPI student paying crazy amounts for fees and tuition, and I see this, I’m ripshit. This is why the cost of college is so high. Because these schools pay people like Colleen Callahan-Panday to offer safe spaces for free hugs.

I have a brilliant idea! Why not re-purpose all those cold war era civil defense bomb shelters into safe spaces? That way when there is a national disaster, something horrible like citizens voting for the candidate of their choice, snowflakes will have a place to run screaming to. They can be staffed by SJW volunteers who can distribute camomile tea and hugs.
We can have drills in school. When someone expresses free thought, we can train the kids to cover their ears and stick their heads under the desk!

It is sad but the truth is all colleges and universities are becoming safe spaces. Students, professors, you name it, are nuts. How can a person who wants to learn be taught by professors like this lady? Impossible. She, and most professors I had, don’t value the discussion of ideas. Its crazy. I just graduated from Westfield State University and all I was surrounded by were people with hurt feelings. The students were in this imaginary bubble were everything can be solved with a safe space. My classmates had it all figured out until they stepped foot off campus. You mention employment to these maniacs and they start shaking. Its really is sad. Thank God Trump won this election. Hopefully college students can accept that fact and not explain to me how Hillary won the election.

How does one flat screen and a woman in a room cause everyone’s tuition to be high? This article had zero facts. How much was actually spent on this safe space?
Btw when did being a sjw, someone who actually tries to care about others rights, become a bad thing? Ok I’m an elite. Great! You realize elite means better than? And yes i do think I’m better than you because I have the capacity, after dealing with my own life, to try to see something in someone elses point of view and not just be a coward Internet troll. But i get it, empathy is hard when youre psychotic. You people read an opinion piece and take it as fact and I don’t think your smart enough to tell the difference. I am talking to you too wpi grads. Since when did a well rounded education become a bad thing? It teaches you how to receive information and process it. For example the average human has one breast and one testicle. Numbers don’t lie right? A stupid social justice denier will point out a naked statistic and call the debate done. But every stat needs study to understand it. Remember when you had to site a source in a paper and it had to be from a real publication, not some youtube video, or media clip? Try that on any of the topics that brain dead SJDs get all but hurt over and you’ll see that it’s not what you assumed by reading the title alone. And don’t bother trying to deflect by bringing up shit liberals do wrong because that doesn’t reduce the fact that youre too lazy to do any REAL research. Of course liberals are wrong about somethings like maybe globalization isn’t good for non elites. Because I’m a sjw I care about loser Americans who can’t feed their family or support their meth habit after a hard shift running the tilt a whirl at the county fair. If all you aspire for is a shit factory job (and I’ve worked in factories btw you don’t know me you prick) then as a society we should try to help you get to that bottom rung because as an american you deserve it. It’s one thing I’m happy Trump is talking about although i dont think he has put forward a real solution for globalization because it seems to be an inevitability.
Ok lazy minded social justice deniers I’m going to throw you a bone here. Since I know you aren’t going to read, in fact I’d be stunned if you had the mental stamina to read this far into something you don’t agree with, I’m going to suggest a video for you to watch. Google mark blythe and watch anything he has said. That’s your arguement. Learn it so you don’t have to sound so desperate and stupid the next time you get drunk and go online.

WPI used to be a top-notch institution. Apparently it’s now turned another version of Berkshire college- too bad. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to western mass- is Worcester still a sh*t-hole? I wonder if any of the areas miscreants really respect WPI’s “safe spaces”?

Graduated Whoopie Tech in 92, at which time you could see the small wisps of SJW smoke ‘up on the Hill’. I am probably ass-wrong 25 years later, but: I can only hope that an overwhelming majority of both male and female undergrads are STILL more interested in somehow passing MA 2051, getting a cherry IQP assignment, landing a sweet co-op job, and getting f-ed up on Tuesday nights and weekends.

In my day (1992 A.D.), this OASIS House (WTF is that?) safe space would have attracted about 19 people:
    (2) do-gooders from student government
    (3) reps from Bi-LAGA
    (1) Newspeak Reporter
    (2) Lambda Chi dudes who took some ‘shrooms
    (3) of the 23 total African American students on campus
    (8) WedgeRats (Google it)– Could be more, but no more than 14 total WedgeRats

This may be a little dated and ‘inside’, but forward this reply to anyone you know who graduated WPI before it went soft…

Archie – I was one one the first two student to co-op out of WPI when I was there starting is ’74 (tuition was $2800!). Back then, on “The Plan”, my sufficiency was in History and there were several asswipe Socialists in the Department. One tried to “No Record” me on a course because I took the opposite view he did re: Vietnam. I had to appeal, successfully, to the Chair of the Humanities Department to get an “Acceptable” grade for the course. SJW’s have been infecting that campus for years!

Many don’t know but WPI tried a Progessive plan of no A, B, C, D grades for several years. You either got Acceptable, Acceptable with Distinction or if you didn’t pass they didn’t record that you even took the class, no F. Fucked up GPA when you tried to explain to prospective employers. They required Major Qualifying Projects (undergrad thesis) and an similar one in the Humanities (IQP). Plus Phys Ed. Bet that’s gone.

Since I graduated I have given a sum total of $0 to the school. I will double that amount this year in honor of this social justice witch.

I bet there is a course now on how partial differential equations feel marginalized from the rest of mathematics…

      • January 21, 2017 at 12:59 pm

Sal — As of 1992 still had MQP, IQP, Suff, and the Phys Ed. requirement. You gotta make nerds and geeks move around once in a while. Did my sufficiency in history as well. Still had A, B, C, or NR grades as well.

I have a close friend whose daughter is living in Reily Hall right now as a Tech Freshman. I will have to de-brief her as to the true Dooshe level of modern day WPI.

In 92, this shit would have got laughed off campus. The participation would have been exactly as I outlined above.

As is the case at UMASS Amherst, 90% of the students do not give a rats a$$ about safe spaces. The few that do give the rest a bad name.

Who’s giving hugs? Does she have big boobies? I like big boobies.

I read in my ancient Chinese secrets manual that boys like girls with big boobies. Pretty, beautiful girls with big boobies. I like girls. Pretty girls.

Not men. Not at all. I really don’t like taking off my shirt and oil wrestling with other big shirtless men in my backyard sex, er, dojo room. That’s just gross. Boy boobies touching and slipping from all of the oil… I hate that.

I hate Woodrow Wilson too. He kisses awful. I mean, he tried to kiss me but I said NO WAY WOODROW!

I didn’t write the above comment. I have trained alone since 1982, doing kata and training with equipment, not other people. I turned down a promotion from first degree black belt to 4th degree black belt because I knew that when I came back to the Okinawan Karate Club in Worcester, jealousy among my teachers would drive me out of the school. I told Seitoku Higa (10th Dan), Kiyohiko Higa (7th Dan) and Koan Nagado (7th Dan) that my teachers would throw me out of the school. I settled for 3rd Dan, and got a 4th Dan for my teacher, Chris, under the condition that he would study with me morning and night for 3 months. He studied with me twice and told his assistant that I had to pay several hundred dollars to help get him a giant ad in the phone book. I refused so they threw me out of the school. Though I have studied for over 3 decades since, I have never gone for a promotion. Promotions are based on kata performance, not on fighting ability. Rank is just a game in the martial arts.
The real thing is: What can you do in a fight?

I haven’t trained with any other person for at least 35 years, except when I went to Master Yang’s seminar in Chelmsford last summer. There were hundreds of people there, men and women, and there was no sex of any sort involved. Obviously, the person who wrote the above post has never been to a martial arts seminar!

Hi Paul, I too hate those things you mentioned. And there isn’t a secret room under Union Station where the local dems gather to do some old fashioned nude oil wrestling. And this doesn’t happen every Friday at 8pm. Oh Yeah, and the password isn’t “McGovern sent me”. Just sayin…

Ughhhhhh. I went there for a bit and it was challenging. Granted I was there before the female invasion and was one of 2 girls in Computer Science. Then the bio department got huge and tons of girls started taking over and the entire dynamic of the school changed. Suddenly, it was catering to their sensitivities and diversities. Engineering school has no fucking room for that, especially on the quarter schedule. I didn’t graduate and instead headed to worse waters at Woo State because I was a pussy little self-entitled twit back then who didn’t want to work when she hit her junior year.

Still, I had carried so much respect for that place and regretted dropping out. Now I’m back in engineering school far away from there and honestly, I worry about WPI. It opened up so many non-engineering areas in the last decade that it’s turning into a money-maker over a place for a top education. Just compare it to smaller engineering schools. They may be fucking weird and anti-social but they produce some of the best and brightest around. That’s because they focus on education and not fucking feelings. Those schools tell you to suck it up and work or GTFO.

I’m just going to rant all day today apparently. But Christ, first hippies everywhere due to Trump stuff and now my old, once great school is going to Hippie Hell. I hate being a woman. WPI was better run by guys. All my guy profs were great. My one woman adjunct prof did nothing but talk down to people and refuse to correctly teach a Calc III lab, which is basically like extra help a few times per week after sitting in a lecture with a few hundred students while a guy writes on huge boards making it feel like Good Will Hunting until your mind explodes. She just got frustrated with us that we weren’t up to her standards in the lab. She’s no longer there.
