Boston HeraldMost of the 18 Black Lives Matter protesters behind a highway blockade that tied up rush-hour traffic on I-93 last winter have skirted jail time and will only have to do community service, thanks to a plea deal struck by the Middlesex DA that one lawmaker says sets a “terrible, terrible example.”

All told, 14 protesters who formed a human chain using PVC pipe, ropes and chains that blocked all four southbound lanes had disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and conspiracy charges broomed in exchange for admitting to a single charge of trespassing that carries just 60 hours of community service.

Another simultaneous protest on Interstate 93 north in Milton, where activists chained themselves to 1,200-pound concrete-filled barrels, caused much longer traffic tie-ups and delayed two ambulances. Those 11 protesters are still facing charges in Quincy District Court, including trespassing, resisting arrest, willfully obstructing an emergency vehicle and conspiracy.

“I think it’s absolutely, completely outrageous. They put people’s lives in danger, the inconvenience was secondary to that,” said state Rep. Colleen Garry (D-Dracut), who is leading the charge to hike penalties for protesters who demonstrate on Bay State

“The expense that they caused that day, based on minimum wage, they should each have to do 1,500 hours of community service,” Garry said. “I think that this sets a terrible, terrible example.”

Prosecutors had originally recommended that the protestors serve 45 days behind bars on the trespassing charge. The protesters said they staged the blockade to call attention to racial injustice in the wake of police killings of unarmed black men in Ferguson, Mo., and New York.

Meanwhile, Somerville District Court Judge Maurice Flynn’s Thursday ruling is being applauded by Black Lives Matter Boston leader Daunasia Yancey, who wasn’t involved in the Jan. 15 protest but supported those arrested.

“We’re definitely glad that they won’t be getting any jail time,” Yancey told the Herald. “We’re hoping that they will be able to complete their community service with organizations that align with the Black Lives Matter movement so they can continue to serve the cause that they’re so committed to.”

Garry found that suggestion outrageous.

“I suggest that their community service be picking up trash on the side of the highway or shoveling for the cancer and dialysis patients that they prohibited from getting to their treatment that day,” she said. “If you put people’s lives in danger you need to be held accountable.”

First of all, Representative Colleen Garry is the greatest politician who has ever lived. I wish Turtleboy could move to Dracut and enjoy the freedom that is put into their tap water. We’ve written about this woman beforeShe’s proposing a bill, which will almost definitely never even come to a vote, that would make what these terrorists did on that highway attempted murder. Because that’s exactly what they were trying to do. They ran onto a highway and tried to kill people. And by doing so they kept ambulances from getting to the hospital where people go when they don’t wanna die. So clearly this was attempted murder.

Garry is also a democrat, which proves that disgust of these disgusting creatures who blocked I-93 knows no party lines. This isn’t a liberal-conservative thing. It’s a hippies vs. civilized society thing.

The worst part about this is that they get to complete their community service with groups that “align with black lives matter.” You know what that means? More protesting. To them they are doing a community service by protesting. They are literally getting away with this with ZERO punishment. What a fucking joke.

Black lives matter Boston is the worst of all the BLM terrorist groups. Want proof? After a Boston Police Officer named John Moynihan was shot in the face in Roxbury, the terrorists showed up at the crime scene to protest the COPS, while the officer’s lifeless body was still lying in the street. Ya got that? Cop got shot, and they not only protested it, they got in the officer’s faces, yelled obscenities and racial slurs at them, and refused to push back from the crime scene.

Then later in March they held a rally to support Angelo West. Remember him? He’s the one who shot the Boston Police Officer in the face and was killed after doing so. Ya got that? They held a RALLY to support the man who shot the cop in the face. Oh, and guess who wasn’t allowed to come to the rally? WHITE PEOPLE!!!

One of the white people who was supporting this but couldn’t go is Nancy Griffin:

We only bring this up because she just so happens to be one of the people who was let off the hook today for running onto the highway:

The fact that they’re getting away with this is a disgrace. These people should be thrown into shark infested waters so they can protest there. I don’t even know why we’re having a trial. We should’ve let them stay on the highway. It would be my pleasure to run over one of these speed bumps. Don’t forget who these little fuckheads are. They’re people like Noah McKenna, who live in their parents mansions in Brookline and don’t have jobs:

People, who as civil rights leader Eugene Rivers put it, are “Occupy Wall Street trust fund babies having fun at the expense of black people.”

Naturally Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone is ecstatic about the news:

This guy is the biggest asshole politician who has ever lived. Using his office to advocate for useless pieces of trash who tried to kill people. That’s what he’s all about. You know who wasn’t stopped from getting to work on that day? Joe Curtatone. So last time we talked about this asshat we threw it out there, and now we’ll do it again – get Turtleboy this guy’s address. If you do we will stage a demonstration in front of his driveway every day of the week. We’ll hold blacklivesmatter signs and refuse to let his car leave. Literally every day until Turtleboy dies we will be there bothering this man. And he will have no choice but to support us, because clearly he believes that taking away other people’s liberties and freedom is OK, so long as you support a cause that he aligns with, such as “black lives matter.”

The bottom line is we need more Colleen Gerry’s, and less Joe Curtatone’s if we don’t want our state to be taken over by disgusting, filthy hippies. Get Turtleboy Joe Curtatone’s address.

P.S. Do you know the guy who was in this video? Are you him? If so you’re probably relieved that someone is willing to hear your side of the story. We’d love to hear it. So if you’re him, or if you know him, then have him get in contact with us by email at

Some may say that global warming threatens our planet’s safety, and the chemicals and toxins in the air from burning fossil fuels cause cancer.

    Where are those arrests?

REALLY??!! TERRORISTS??? Yea they held up 2 ambulances, which in no way am I condoning, but terrorist is a bit of an exaggeration. Traffic was held up. They weren’t lining people up to decapitate and maim them. Our government has done waaaay more damage to innocent civilians of other countries all for the “greater good” somehow that’s fine, yet people protesting MURDERS and police brutality while haulting traffic, that is unacceptable. Cmon people. Where are your priorities? So now holding up traffic makes u a terrorist. I bet the middle eastern countries would gladly swap their terrorists for ours. Smfh.

I don’t think you understand what terrorist means.

Terrorists are any person, or group, that use coercion, fear, intimidation and/or violence to get their demands met, for political reasons.

These guys definitely fit the bill. And by the way, if it was your dying mother or father or yourself in that ambulance, you would not be saying anything. Hindsight is 20/20, but supposing there was no one actually dying in that ambulance and using that as backwards justification for the blockade is the same logic as shooting an arrow at a wall, then drawing a red circle around where it hit and calling it a bulls-eye.

      Just absurd.

Don’t mention the war, apples to oranges.

There are absolutely cases of police brutality and murder being overlooked, wrongfully, and have irrefutable evidence to prove homicide and/or torture committed by police officers. But that in no way makes two wrongs a right. Find another way to protest, and stop touting the names of people that were clearly guilty, instead focus on the people the media don’t give a shit about that do deserve justice, like Matthew Ajibade.

Things like this are why I left that shithole Massachusetts years ago and never looked back.
Liberals are scum, they want to live life as irresponsibly, recklessly and carelessly as they can with no negative results or repercussions ever, no matter how severely they defy common sense, common decency and morals.
Now here they are, being rewarded by this incompetent moron of a mayor.
The inmates are running the asylum in Massachusetts, and the idiots in government there are smiling about it.

Somerville courts cost me wayyyy more than these people in fines/ court time (away from my full time, tax contributing job) fighting parking tickets that resulted from their awful attempt at snow removal last winter. I guess laying on a highway is less of an infraction than parking on a side street without a resident sticker during a record breaking snow storm.

Curatone, at one time, was on his way to a very successful political career. Not now. He has managed to turn himself in Mayor Ultra Liberal Nutcase.
