If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. Or just buy our award winning book about the dangers of censorship and rise of Turtleboy:
Yesterday, without warning, the Turtleboy Sports Returns page, which has over 31,300 followers, was unpublished by Facebook for “bullying.”
No specific reason was given, and this has happened twice before to this page, and six times to the Turtleboy Sports Forever page. We’re actually pretty good at getting these pages back because we just hit the appeal button a few hundred times. No one works at Facebook so no one actually reviews anything. You just have to hit the report button a few hundred times and you can take down any page you want.
I just want to take a moment to talk about the most overused word in the English language – bullying. Adults do not get bullied. Anyone who claims they’re being “bullied” is admitting that they are fundamentally weak, incapable of defending themselves with words, and probably have no business being on the Internet in the first place.
We do not bully anyone. We expose people doing bad things. If our followers pile on after we blog about someone this is not something we control, and we’re not going to stop exposing people doing bad things because they might become subjected to mean words from turtle riders in their inbox.
If this is the standard Facebook and other SJWs want to set, then every mainstream media outlet on earth is guilty of bullying. Any time they expose a child molester or a murderer they are setting that person up to be bullied. Any time the Huffington Post or The Root makes some white woman go viral because she called the cops on a black person, they are bullying. Any time the MSM piles on Trump, or lies about him not going to visit the troops on Christmas, they are bullying him. Conversely, any time Trump uses his platform on Twitter to mock his political opponents, he is bullying.
See how stupid that sounds? Of course none of those things are bullying. It’s called free speech. We have the right to criticize others, and we’re not required to be nice about it. But evidently only bullying when it’s done by someone who doesn’t work for a major established media network. Makes sense.
