Some people have been asking me what I thought about the dude who placed a backpack at the finish line of the Boston Marathon while chanting “Boston Strong, Boston Strong.” I kind of wanted to see WTFIGO with this guy. Obviously my initial reaction was…….WTF???
But I kind of wanted to see how it played out. Turns out his name is Kevin Edson, and he’s the most insane person on the planet.
So at first I thought he was just one of those idiots who think Terrorist #2 is innocent because they read it on Infowars. I was ready to rip him apart. But then I saw this video:
What the hell was that?
So this kid says he’s an artist. Right away I assumed he was some Cambridge idiot who couldn’t get a real job. Then I saw that video and realized that we simply were not dealing with a rational human being here. That kid is sick. Really, really sick. I still don’t know what that is that I just watched, but I couldn’t look away the entire time. It was just that weird.
So I guess the reason I haven’t written about this yet, is that there just isn’t that much to say. I feel the same way about him as I did about Adam Lanza – he’s a sick dude, and it’s hard to blame him for his actions since he literally seems to have no control or boundaries. The kid is completely out of his mind. He suffers from bipolar, but by all means seems to come from a normal family. They’ve issued the following statement:
“Our son Kevin has been battling mental issues for several years. His illness has caused himself and our family years of anguish that is unimaginable. His multiple mental health issues, including the diagnosis of BiPolar Disorder, are a constant battle realized by multiple hospitalizations and close psychiatric treatment. Kevin is currently a college student and has not been living at home for several months. Unfortunately his mental health has deteriorated recently.
Boston is certainly, in many ways, a strong city. The first responders, the runners, the sports teams, the medical community and the citizens are all Boston Strong. What is NOT strong is the mental health system in Boston, our state, our country, and the world. I have two sons who struggle with mental illness and I have had to constantly fight for twelve years to get them the help they need. Advocating for assistance from mental health providers for my sons has been a full-time job.”
Maybe this kid just did this to drive traffic towards his “art.” If he did, then he’s the smartest person in the world. He’s literally outsmarted his parents, doctors, friends, and followers. It was be one of the most genius scams of all time. I’m gonna go with good old fashioned crazy though. Whatever happened to just plain old crazy anyway?
The fact that his parents have at least TRIED to do something to remedy their sons illness, makes them better parents than Jerry Remy. At least this kid didn’t kill anyone, because make no doubt about it, he is capable of it. He obviously has no idea what he’s doing, and has absolutely no idea how seriously the Boston Strong cheerleaders took yesterday’s services.
But I guess we have to blame SOMEONE for this, so I’m gonna echo what the Mom says and blame the mental health care system. It’s like, if you’re white, middle class, and smart, we can’t label you as crazy. Because it’s taboo to be crazy. So we just give lunatics like him a bunch of pills and check up on them every few months. Oh well, hopefully this idiot’s getting the help he needs, but quite frankly it’s scary to know that there are plenty more where that came from.
Feel free to share your thoughts to keep the conversation going.

The very fact that he did not realize that “Boston Strong” is the most important slogan ever uttered proves how insane he is. That slogan drives me crazy, but I sure as hell won’t be making light of it around any of these cheerleaders. The city of Boston has now increased the penalty for mocking “Boston Strong” from six months of slave labor at the One Fund to a stern talking to from Suzy Park about how white males caused the whole thing.
