So the Turtlegram published an article today which basically put Charlton Police Chief James Pervier for the hilarious, viral Facebook post about the drive by rappers in Charlton:
Oh sweet Jesus. This is what we’ve come to now? Police chiefs have to defend Police Department Facebook posts because it’s insensitive towards rap music and losers whined about it being a misuse of police resources? The post has been removed of course, because the PC police wouldn’t allow it to stay up. Was it hilarious? Yes. But at the same time it sounds like a legitimate reason to let people know that there is a random group of wangstas out there driving around using rap battles as a way to lure 12 year old kids into their SUV’s. Calm your tits and laugh everyone. Life is too short to be so butthurt all the time.

Clearly the idiots that are trying to make their post appear racist have never heard or seen the Beastie Boys. Quite possibly the best rap group and not exactly a dark complexion. Good police work with the appropriate humor. They police did their job and notified the community very effectively and basically said “listen, this isn’t the crime of the century or even a crime at all, but teens or young adults stopped their car and got out to approach some 12 year olds. Parents, please take note”
