This is why we never give up at Turtleboy Sports. Because justice must be served. The bad guys can’t win. The MIAA is run by people who are one step down from the Nazis. A bunch of corrupt administrators from Shrewsbury, Grafton, Fitchburg, Holy Name, and many other schools went out of their way to keep this kid from playing. But the fact of the matter is that he met all the MIAA’s stupid, pointless requirements when he got his waiver signed by both Shepherd Hill and Holy Name. The MIAA didn’t want to admit defeat so they tried making up new rules as they went along, and a judge in a real courtroom was like…..nah. They tried to argue that he was “recruited” (whatever that means in high school) to go to Shepherd Hill in order to form a “super team.” So the judge asked if the guy had any sort of evidence and the MIAA’s lawyer looked like such a shmuck:
Watching the MIAA get publicly humiliated like this and come out with so much egg on their face is one of the most satisfying feelings we’ve ever had. Just for the record this does not count as a public execution of the MIAA. They still exist. Eventually we will take them down though. But for now we’ll take the victory. Congrats to Kevin Mensah and Shepherd Hill and best of luck to both the Hill and Wachusett tonight.

Back in the 80’s when I sing that song at karoke, I’d sing it as “Another One Bites My Butt”.
Might as well allow recruiting and allow kids to jump around teams on a 16 year olds whim. Too bad if the loser become the kids themselves. In fact, if not D1 material by sophomore year schools should just bench the kids and recruit.
