Like And Follow Turtleboy’s Super Terrific Happy Facebook Page Because They’ve Completely Hidden TBNews From You

We’ve started a new Facebook page you should all like and follow called Turtleboy’s Super Terrific Happy Page. Like it by clicking hereYou should also follow the Clarence Woods Emerson Facebook page by clicking hereClarence is a shared personal account that I created and ultimately have control over. I give other bloggers access to it in order to message people about stories, but most of the time you’re talking to me. Personal pages come up more in your news feed and are less likely to be shut down by Facebook. The community pages we make get shut down all the time, while Clarence simply gets suspended 30 days at a time. I’m not going to jinx it by saying how long it’s been since Clarence has been suspended, but it’s a new record.

The reason we’re doing this is because Facebook has completely hidden TBNews Facebook page from your feeds. It’s almost invisible. We used to post something, get hundreds of comments and likes, and add over 1,000 turtle riders per week to the page. It’s existed for over a year, another new record, and was on pace to get back to 100,000 turtle riders like the old days.

Then all of a sudden they decided to hide it after mistakingly removing content, which we appealed and had put back up. Look what happens when we share a blog on Clarence versus when we share a blog on TBNews.

249 likes, 88 shares, and hundreds of comments. Now look at the same story on TBNews.

20 likes, 6 shares, 2 comments. These pages have basically the same amount of followers (19.5K vs. 17.5K) but one is intentionally hidden while the other one gets seen because they haven’t taken action against it.

This is why Vichy conservatives and Libertarians are the dumbest people on earth. Do these idiots think that the radical leftists who run Facebook won’t do the same thing to Fox News, Breitbart, the Daily Wire, or any other right leaning media outlet in the next 18 months leading up to the election? Of course they’re going to. We’ve some allowed this mega-corporation to decide what billions of people see every day for news now. Sure, you might be an educated voter, but millions of people are not, and they get their news from their Facebook feeds. By saying you don’t want to regulate these companies you’re letting the other team manipulate and control the most powerful media device that has ever existed.

Well thank God it’s just a bunch of virtue signaling tech Gods and not the government controlling how information gets disseminated. That would be bad.

Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. Done.

I do wish, though, Unc, that you’d review your text before posting. Would you mind correcting this? (“We’ve some allowed this mega-corporation to decide what billions of people see every day for news now.”) I understand what you’re saying (ala, s/b “somehow”), but, sheesh! Not the biggest foxy pass (wink-wink) I’ve seen, but I thought you were old enough to have obtained a proper public education from when they REALLY taught us.

Agreed on the now monlithic, agenda-driven and manipulative media. There’s a pot of money out there just waiting to be tapped for honest, integrity-filled information. Who will fill the void?

The way I manage to miss absolutely nothing is that I actively search Turtleboy when I feel like reading news, or I click on the icon for frequently visited websites. I don’t get how people don’t actively check every day. It’s the news. I wake up wondering what’s happened overnight and before bed I like to know what’s happened during the day, so I check all the sites twice a day, including and especially Turtleboy. people aren’t actively trying to check the news. They just wait for something to pop up on their Facebook or Twitter. They don’t have a need to know. I don’t get that.

Man you’re like that annoying ex girlfriend that won’t accept it’s over and just keeps calling and showing up! You’d think after getting suspended and banned the first 20 times you would take the hint that Facebook doesn’t want you.
You should concentrate your energy on making this site better, maybe get some local companies to advertise? Try making a deal with the new Worcester Red Sox or maybe the local hockey team?

Facebook is already blocking Clarence Woods Emerson in the feeds, very rarely does one show up…
