Saw this posted in the Foxboro Discussion Facebook group and it symbolizes everything that is wrong with self-victimization culture today.
There’s so much wrong with this I don’t even know where to start. Let’s begin with the fact that she’s posting this on a Facebook Discussion group for pity instead of addressing it with administration, which she admits later on in the comments that she never did.
Bringing it to administration is a step she could take to remedy the alleged issue. Bringing it to Facebook does nothing except garner sympathy from gullible people who instinctively believe everything they read on Facebook, without any facts or evidence.
Secondly, where is the evidence your daughter saw “No n**** allowed on a bathroom stall door?” She admits that her daughter texted her about it, which means she had her phone and easily could’ve taken a picture of it. She also should’ve gone to administration if this is true, instead of her mother who then ran to a townie Facebook group.
Thirdly, the fact that you start off your post with “we are a mixed race, multicultural family” just screams, “I’m white, but I have biracial kids so I’m a victim now too.” And there is nothing more fashionable than being a victim in 2019. We can see your family is mixed race from the picture. Generally that happens when one parent is white and the other is black.
Fourthly, you’re not moving anywhere. If your theory is that because Foxboro is a whitewashed community it is a breeding ground for racism, you’re going to find that in most of the towns near Foxboro. If you want racial diversity, try Brockton. Of course, you’re not going to move to Brockton because you know, and I know, that Foxboro is a much better place to live and send your kids to school. You are full of shit.
Fifthly, if it’s true then it’s impossible to catch whoever did it (if it really happened) unless you’re willing to put cameras in each stall. The alleged perpetrator did this to get a rise out of you, and got exactly what wanted. Well done.
Most importantly, if it’s true, who cares? Kids write offensive things on the bathroom stalls all the time. These are nothing more than words and they only have the power that you give them. You are not a victim because you saw words. I get offensive, racially charged death threats quite frequently, but yet I’m still here. Because if you leave, or stop what you’re doing because of threats like this, then you are giving them the power.
For the sake of argument I will operate under the assumption that what your daughter is saying is true about the bathroom scribblings. In that case you are teaching your daughter that it’s better to run from bullies than to confront them. You are doing her a disservice and are teaching her that victimization is a better route to take than standing up for yourself. Let me show you what you what you should’ve told your daughter.
Last month the entire town of Holden, which is identical to Foxboro in population and demographics, received a libelous, pornographic flier demeaning my wife and I. It had my address on it and was designed to urge people to come to my house and cause harm to me or my family. It worked to a degree, as I received several death threats, which I reported to the Holden Police, because that’s what responsible adults do. If I did what you did then I would’ve run to the local Wachu-chat Facebook group, whined about it, and proclaimed that I was leaving town so that people would feel bad for me. Now watch how I handled this cretin named Alec Olsen.
I had no idea who this person was so I searched his name on our website and found out that North Shore Turtlebabe wrote about him in 2017. His step-father died in a drag racing “accident” in which he nearly killed a 12 year old girl. She rightfully criticized him, and the people who were defending his actions and bragging about what a great guy this lifelong criminal was. Either way, I didn’t write the blog, but I stand by her right to express her opinions on controversial matters. I certainly will not allow some puke like this to intimidate me with death threats.
And let’s be clear – what he did to me, is much, much worse than what happened to your daughter. The words written in the bathroom were not directed at her, unless the person who wrote them knew your kid had to go to the bathroom and planned on using that exact stall. Her life was not threatened. Mine was, and the message was directed at me.
So what did I do?
I made it clear that I would not be bullied by someone like him. He only has the power if I let him know he’s gotten to me. He wants me to be scared.
But I would not give that to him. “You’re worth catching a charge for.” Can we get that on a Turtleboy valentine please?
Then it was time to take the power back, which you should’ve taught your daughter to do. If I were her I would’ve taken a picture of it, posted it on Facebook, found out who did it, and went on the attack. Here’s how I handled Alec Olsen.
This is why the Second Amendment exists. Because if he shows up and threatens me, I won’t have time to wait for the cops. I’ll call them anyway, but in the meantime I will use whatever means necessary to protect my family and my property. He expected me to be scared, but instead I let him know that coming to my house would be the worst decision he ever made.
Now I’m on the offensive. Here is a guy whose feelings were hurt because his step-dad died. He plays the tough guy, which means the thought of being this hurt by a WOMAN, hurts his pride. Those were his weaknesses so I attacked them.
Normally I wouldn’t use language like this, but he’s threatening my life so the rules are off the table.
And just like that he took the post down. Now he’s the one who is afraid of me. He’s 130 pounds, and he’s in California because he’s a junkie in rehab. I was going to exploit that, and then I’d really, really, really cause him some pain by pointing out how great it is to have two parents who are still alive. Because I wanted him to teach him a lesson. I wanted him to suffer for what he did.
Then I found out his biological father was still alive, he just wasn’t in the picture because he’s a drunk, so obviously I exploited that too.
Then I found out that the night his stepfather died it was because he was all jammed up on cocaine after finding out that Alec’s mother had cheated on him. If I pointed this out to him it would mentally break him, which is exactly what I did.
Now I’m blocked by him and his page is completely private. I win.
Normally I wouldn’t be this vicious, because I’m not a vicious person. But if you DARE try to intimidate me or my family, I will hurt you with my words. Because I am much, much, much better at hurting you than you are at hurting me. Let that be a lesson to anyone who thinks they can intimidate me – if you come after me, I will destroy you. I will find your biggest weakness and exploit it. I will not stop until you deeply regret ever thinking it would be wise to threaten me.
And guess what’s happened since? Nothing. He’s sitting in rehab in California crying himself to sleep every night, and I’m sitting here doing what I always did. I didn’t change my behavior, but he certainly did.
This is what parents should be teaching their kids – how to stand up for themselves. Ann-Marie didn’t want her kid to do that, she wanted people to feel bad for her, and she got exactly what she wished for.
Stephanie Curran says, “the thing I dislike the most about Foxboro is the lack of diversity.”
But Stephanie – you are contributing to that lack of diversity by being white. You went out of your way to live in a town with very few minorities. And by purchasing a home there you helped drive up property value, which in turn priced out many people of color. It turns out YOU are the racist!! Put your money where your mouth is and move to Brockton. Here are two very similar homes in Foxboro and in Brockton. Both are about 1,350 square feet, with two bathrooms, and the one in Brockton has an extra bedroom. Check the prices:
Almost a $200K difference. Why? Because racist people like Stephanie Curran are willing to pay more to live AWAY from people of color. Hell, your typical 2,000+ square foot home with four bedrooms in Foxboro will run you $650K.
You can be the Queen of France for that kind of cash in Brockton.
And you can have the diversity you claim to want! So move!!
Or, here’s an idea – go to the next town meeting and demand that Foxboro have more Section 8 housing. Demand that people only be allowed to sell their homes to people of color, and to sell at whatever prices they can afford. Let me know how that goes.
But in today’s society it’s much more fashionable to be a victim. When someone suggested that Ann-Marie would still find assholes if she moved, she victimized herself again.
No Ann-Marie, it doesn’t make it acceptable. It makes it an unfortunate part of life that you cannot escape. Assholes are everywhere. It’s how you deal with it that matters.
But Ann-Marie really, really wants to be a victim, so she kept telling people she was gonna move so they’d feel bad for her.
If your daughter isn’t happy with racial diversity in Foxboro, and this is what you want for your kids, then you’re gonna have to move to Brockton or Fall River or Boston. But of course you’re not gonna do that.
One guy rightly pointed out how absurd it was to sell your house because of scribbling in a bathroom.
And the woke mob wasn’t having none of that.
“It it the town’s job to make sure everyone feels welcomed.”
And what should the town do then genius? Put cameras in the bathroom stalls? Oh I know…..
Diversity trainings. That will definitely stop racist shitposters from writing words on bathroom stall doors. Definitely. Or better yet – a presentation in the auditorium.
Because whoever did this will definitely think twice about it after sitting through a presentation in the auditorium, and this is definitely something that should take away from time on learning for kids who have done nothing wrong.
One person recommended reaching out to Sharon because it’s “diversified.”
Because when I think of diversity the first town that comes to mind is Sharon.
Or better yet, go to Millis!
“Amazing, diverse, and accepting of all.” The Millis Public Schools are 1.5 percent black.
Foxboro is 4.4% black.
I guess you don’t have to be smart to live in these towns. Like this rocket scientist.
Yea, you should totally call the Mayor of Foxboro, who doesn’t exist because Foxboro is a town, not a city. Obviously this person is civically engaged individual whose advice should be taken seriously.
I think we all knew what this was about though – blaming Trump. Fake hate crimes are on the rise in our country, and this “someone wrote something mean on the bathroom door” nonsense exacerbates it. The irony in this was rich:
Ann-Marie: “This is Trump’s fault.”
Also Ann-Marie: “Let’s leave politics out of it.”
Here’s how you know this woman is being completely disingenuous, and just wants attention. Watch how the school and the community responded.
The cops are investigating who wrote words on a bathroom door. Something they’ll never, ever be able to solve. Yet they’re doing it anyway because they have to show that they take racism seriously. What a terribly racist community to live in.
But it still wasn’t enough for Ann-Marie:
Girls have called her the n word several times this year now. Yea, I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that never happened. Who are the girls? What actions did you take to stop this? Oh right, you’re just looking to use your biracial daughter as a way to victimize your lily white woman self once again.
