I dunno what to say. Mixed feelings? Six kids don’t get to see their father anymore and this genius has “mixed feelings” because of that one time he made her a few minutes late to her birthday party (what kind of adult still cares about their birthday parties?) because she was breaking the law. I mean, even if you feel this way, why post it on Facebook? Seriously, what don’t people understand about social media? It’s not your diary. And when you write stuff like this, expect it to spread like wildfire. Kind of a sensitive issue.
I just don’t get how people still think cops are here to “hassle” you. They’re here to keep you and everyone else safe. If you’re driving too fast on the highway and they see you then they pull you over. Turtleboy has gotten PLENTY of tickets. If you were speeding, then own it. Don’t wanna pay the ticket? Fight it. But don’t blame the Trooper for doing their job. When they ask for your license and registration and maybe toss in a couple questions in there to see if you’re a wicked big sketchbal, just give them what they want. Answer their questions, and then move on with your life. Seems like a pretty simple plan.
Look, we don’t know who this woman is, nor do we care. This just disgusted Turtleboy. The anti-police sentiment in this country is out of control because we’ve catered to the “fuck the police” crowd for too long. We’ve forgotten that they’re not just robots in uniforms who shoot unarmed black folks for no reason. They’re human beings who go home to families at the end of their shifts. They do a very dangerous job, as this event has shown, and they have a right to defend themselves. They have a right to “hassle” you, and people like Davie Njuguna, because they’re trying to keep the roads clear of assholes. If you’re not an asshole then you should pass the asshole screening process easily. You call it “hassling,” Turtleboy calls it public safety.
But instead the current anti-cop environment that has been fostered makes people like Victoria Norris feel comfortable enough to write stuff like this after a father of six is killed for no reason. As if it’s some sort of karma for making a grown woman late to her own 30th birthday party.
The bottom line is, when someone dies and they’re not a complete scumbag, don’t say you have “mixed feelings” about them dying. Because it makes you look like a heartless, soulless dooshnozzle. The State Troopers in the Charlton barracks especially have to be hurting. It’s not like they could all call in sick for a week after their friend died. They need the support of the community, not more anti-cop bullshit from morons on Facebook.
P.S. If you do ever say something ridiculously stupid like this on Facebook and then decide to take it down, make sure you post something about how sorry you are. Don’t just take it down and hope that no one noticed. Because people always notice when you say really, really dumb things on Facebook.

Speeding tickets are often referred to as revenue enhancement. The roads I just drove out west look the same as the ones here except for 80 mph speed limits. If it is really about safety then they would not be needlessly pulling cars over on the interstate, but would wait until the next exit. State troopers drive faster because doing the speed limit causes drivers around them to freak out too much.

Now I don’t always get along with her, and when she’s drunk, she says and does stupid things, often on social media, often pissing people off. But she is also amazing as a caretaker for my mother who has parkinsons and she is a loyal and loving girlfriend to my brother. She can be a self absorbed cunt, but she can also be a supportive and loving person who has worked with many senior citizens. This is I hope a huge lesson to her to shut her mouth sometimes and not be so pretentious or at least keep it to herself. But let’s have some perspective, the woman posted something on facebook, she didn’t kill anyone, or end the world, or do any of the evil things that people that truly deserve bad kharmah to fall on them.
