Half an hour ago we blogged about this jorts bus who kept his dog in the car with the windows up on a 90 degree day while he went shopping at BJ’s.
Within minutes we already had a name – Bane Veskovic, from Coventry.
I’m not sure if leaving your dogs locked in a hot car is common practice in Serbia, but here in the states it’s generally frowned upon. Turns out Bane owns Fix-a-Nix, a local car fixer upper place in North Kingstown. He is prominently featured on their Facebook page.
We called him up to ask him if that was him from the Facebook picture with the dog left in the BMW on the 90 degree day. He told us it was indeed him, and that his name is pronounced “Bah-nay.” As in Bah-nay and Friends, not like the bad guy from Batman.
So yea, mystery solved. Do what you want with it. You dog people know more about how to handle these situations than a boy on a turtle does.
We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.
