Another Internet lawsuit may be coming Turtleboy’s way!!

A couple days ago we published this blog about a rather amusing sight that you don’t see every day, unless you live in Palmer:
A man pushing a baby carriage full of Busch Light. It’s funny because normally babies go in baby carriages, rather than cheap, watered down beer. However, we never made fun of this guy or anything like that. We just thought the whole concept of this was rather amusing, as did turtle riders everywhere, including Palmer.
But as usual, Turtleboy has rubbed someone the wrong way and we’ve set ourselves up for yet another Internet lawsuit!
Look, we sympathize with this guy. Veterans in this country deserve better. But we never shat on this guy’s face. As a matter of fact, more power to him. Sure beats carrying the 30 rack home. Why waste a perfectly good baby carriage?
Anyway, we usually just ignore messages like this and they eventually go away. But this well-read MENSA member wasn’t leaving until she got answers:
Word of advice for the butthurts out there – if you want us to take something down, we will actually listen to you. We can’t guarantee we’ll take anything down, but we will listen to your concerns and make a judgement call. But the second you mention bringing something to the police, or arbitrarily decide what is and isn’t legal, you will be treated as a joke.
Studies have shown that 99.9% of people who have ever used “slander” or “defamation” in a sentence, have no idea what those words actually mean.
But wait, it gets better. The woman who wouldn’t stop hounding us about this harmless story is also planning on pressing charges for “harassment”:
$20 says we have another Internet lawsuit on our hands by the end of the day.
Anyway, if you recall we did a blog back in September about this amazing Rockwellian photograph from Southbridge:
Sure, we took some shit for it.
But you think the guy in the picture gives a shit? Nope. Just a bunch of people getting outraged on his behalf. As a matter of fact, the dude is still doing his thing in December on his Natural Icemobile.
This right here is a man who will not be denied an ice cold Natural Ice, regardless of the weather:
Legend.

I support both of these men for being upstanding members of society.
I cannot, however, support their choices in watered down piss beer. Come on guys – buy something that doesn’t require a thirty rack to get you shitfaced!
Dehydration can be a serious problem when drinking heavily. By drinking watered down beer, the net effect is you remain hydrated and therefore able to drink more. A win win situation for both the drinker and manufacturer.
i question the validity of that statement.
if what you say is true, one could drink nothing but natty ice and live a long healthy life…
Unfortunately the girl is correct. If you took a picture of him without his knowledge or consent and then post it on a public forum it is I. Fact illegal and she does have the means to Sue. Not for slander or harassment. I personally dont think even if you could of gotten his concent it would of held up simply for the fact that he has mental illness. It’s truly pathetic that she wrote you very politely and asked for you to take down the post and you turn it around and use it on your blog site.. shaming people isn’t funny it isn’t cute.. maybe I should out who you are and dig up all your shit you do and have in your past.. hmmm
Where did you get your legal degree? You should get a refund.
Anyone in public view is fair game. How do you think the paparazzi makes money? There is no expectation of privacy in a public place. Public roads most certainly are public spaces. Even private property, such as malls, stores, concert venues, restaurants, ANY place open to the public is considered public with no expectation of privacy. Photos can even be legally taken from publicly accessible areas to private areas. No consent of the subject required. If it is viewable from a public area, it is legal to photographically reproduce. In such case, the photographer is the owner of the image. If the photographer consents to the publication, it’s legal.
I’m a photographer, I’ve read up on the laws… The only time it gets cloudy is when you are using telephoto lenses and shooting towards private areas where a level of privacy would be expected.
So, I’m totally going to court for all those vacation photos that have other people in them? Oh shiiit.
Girl doesn’t even have the decency to give her father a ride yet has enough time to message TB. Fuck her.
If this is illegsl, then people of Walmart would be doing life. Understand there are cameras everywhere. Privacy in public is a thing of the past.
I really think this is appropriate I am a police officer and have seen this guy. I have talked to this Veteran. I admire him and everyone else who serves this country. Now “Turtleboy”as for you posting this picture without consent it is indeed Illegal. That women has every right to press charges on you. Turtleboy I hope you do the right thing and take this down.
Hmmmm…someone here claiming to be a police officer and is posting at 2:34 am. Are you retired and worked for Worcester by any chance? Were you on duty on Dec 3rd 1999?
Oh hai bob…you not posting any more of your stolen valor stories under the bobnmichele account any more?
It is not me… I mean him! BobnMic is a pillar of the community, I, ahem, he is too a cop…
The only problem I have with the photo is you’re making it snow on the guy and you didn’t photoshop a coat on him. The poor guy is gonna freeze. Have a heart and give this guy a nice warm coat.
OMG. Stop leave me alone. Hey stop messenging me. That’s classic!!! God I love when TB harasses my Twitter/facebook
I love how TB gets ALL the credit for all the wonderful , innovative and controversial photography on the internet. And Its simply magical that TB is all seeing & all knowing and yet does not post names of those photographed, but people that know the photographee (made that word up) put that shit right out there. Names , back story, health, mental illness and addictions. But they are all gonna sue TB. I wish i could be that awesome. However i am not, if i could be the grammar police i totally would. People need to truly understand that proper punctuation and spelling can make the difference in how serious you are taken. So please for the love of English , use it properly and in ways that make sense. This amazing internet allows you to look things up and have knowledge before you make nonsense threats. Or write like you have a speech impediment.
heyy the names kimberly or kimmy as my friends like to call me im
23 yrs old have a son hes my world i love the ocean and the rain forest my son is my life anyone tries to mess with him or my fam ill mess u up i dont put up with that i love my friends there aloo my life i love music couldnt live without it I also have an amazing bf whom I love unconditionally
not. one. period.
Wow TB you’re so smart. You knew she can’t sue you. It’s like the 10th time you’ve told us all how smart you are for knowing that.
Take the fucking picture down. She asked you nicely and it didn’t work. He’s a vet w/ptsd. take the damn picture down.
Seriously TB. Love the blog, ride the Turtle daily, but he’s a vet with PTSD. He is fucked up and you’re shaming him. I used to work in a store where this vet was a regular. Guy was so gone he had to take off his shoes as soon as he came in the store and he walked around barefoot until he left. I’m sure this man has done more good for our country than you could even wrap your head around. You “will take things off of the blog if asked,” but “can’t guarantee it will be taken down”. Go diddle some students at Shepherd Hill, you cunt.
Did Lauren Larson threaten to sue you too? I notice you took down what you posted about her.
No more First Amendment rights in America. Guess this harmless photo does not pass the litmus test. He is walking in public and if he is treated for his issue. Alcohol, interferes or renders his meds useless, if he is on them from the VA. Bottom line, keep the photo on. If any of what she says is true ?
If he is indeed a veteran perhaps a bit of courtesy would go a long way. Even though I am fairly certain that he never saw this but his rat kid did and had a hissy fit. Here is an idea Kimberly…How about if your dad is in such bad shape you dont pick this shit up for him so he does not have to do this. Dumb bitch.
I’ll take a handjob from her.
I dont think I could stay hard.
Looks like a job for… Richard N. Vulva Esq!!!
Defamation, libel, slander, harassment, your-assment, my-assment… Quid pro quo, Clarice. Habeas corpus mother f’er!
Your Honor, Mr Vulva would like his Prima Facial
