Here’s an email we received last night in response to all the shenanigans we’ve been having with Facebook:

    Dear Turtle riders,

I am a mixed race, disabled, queer, trans, impoverished mother of two on welfare and I ride the turtle. I sometimes disagree with aspects of some articles and don’t always see eye to eye with some takes on some issues, but I ride that turtle like it calls me Daddy.

Why? I’m a big fan of the truth and justice. The combination of truth, justice and hard hitting humor makes this snowflake’s reproductive bits quiver with excitement. I read Turtleboy Sports every single day and I’m not going to stop because I sometimes don’t agree with an opinion. I’m an adult, a real adult, and different concepts don’t make me cry out for a safe space. I don’t feel the need to report an article that I don’t side with because I know that it is everyone’s right to speak their mind, even if you don’t see things the same way.

About a month ago, one article stated something to the effect of “being transgendered is mental illness”. Did I cry? No. Did I get offended? Nope. Did I hire Richard N. Vulva to take down The Turtle? Fuck nah. Am I still a loyal turtle rider? You can bet your sweet ass I am! You might be asking yourself “But you’re trans and queer, why didn’t you throw a massive hissy fit!?”. To answer your question, I’m aware that when someone has an opinion that’s different than mine that it’s not the end of the world. Who the fuck cares what an anonymous blogger thinks about gender? Not me, and not repeat myself but again, it’s an OPINION. What’s written on the internet doesn’t affect my life in any way whatsoever. There’s no oxygen on the Internet. You can’t live there.

Another reader may be wondering “Well, you’re on assistance so you must feel shitty when Turtleboy writes about people and calls them an EBT-Rex.” Hahah, no I don’t. I laugh right along with the rest of you. How’s that possible? I don’t abuse the system, I live within my limited means and I haven’t made a career out of collecting disability checks. I’m actually in college on my way to becoming a counselor and social worker and already putting small amounts of money towards my student loans. Also, EBT-Rex is quite possibly the best name for a ratchet welfare queen I’ve ever heard!

And yep, I’m mixed race. Nope, Turtleboy Sports is not racist in the slightest. Not once have I ever read anything that could even be slightly considered to be hate speech. Never. Some of the comment section could use a good kick to the teeth at times, but I’ve never felt uncomfortable by anything that any blogger has ever written.

The entire point of what I’m writing here is that, as a whole, we need thicker skin. Just because you don’t agree with someone doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy other things that they have to say. Different opinions and ideas aren’t hate speech. In fact, listening to a different opinion actually makes you think and grow as a person, it’s a good thing! If you can’t handle that there are other people on Earth who don’t see everything the same way you do, get your safe space ready because this is going to hurt – YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.

What makes America great is that anyone can say what they believe and that’s OK. The reason America is getting shitty is because some people, more and more every day, can’t handle a different point of view. If someone says something “triggering” you either riot or cry. (BTW, fuck you if you use the term triggering for your snowflake bullshit. Some people have real PTSD, you’re just a little pussy bitch. Go cry, I’ll wait.)

Society, get your shit together. Grow some thick skin, get out of your safe space, get a helmet and fucking deal with it when someone disagrees with you. Stop being so fucking offended by every little thing. You need to go watch Fight Club on repeat for a week and let the “You are not unique” speech sink in, because you are not a beautiful unique snowflake you are just another piece of walking compost.

The only people who get upset over what Turtleboy Sports has to say are those who are corrupt, those who lie, those who are criminals, and those who have something to hide. The one thing those people have in common is that they, like the rest of us, really don’t matter.

All your participation awards, all your Facebook likes, all the pretend internet praise in the world doesn’t make anyone better than anyone else. So why not have a few laughs over some goofy shit you can relate to? Get some ice for that burn, pull up a comfy chair with a donut for that butthurt, get a nice cup of coco to melt the snowflakyness and just fucking laugh for once!

Life isn’t short. Life is long as fuck and can be really, really hard sometimes so why make it any shittier by being offended all the time? The one thing that can bring us together as a society besides love is laughter, don’t miss out just because you don’t agree with every word someone says. Laughter can lead to love, love has the capability to heal all. Don’t be hateful, whiny cunts. In short, don’t be the problem.

What can I say folks? She said it all. If you don’t like what you see on the Internet then just don’t read it. It’s mind boggling that we live in a world where adults feel the need to protect other adults from speech that makes them uncomfortable. It’s as anti-American as you get. And nothing is more American than Turtleboy Sports and freedom.

      1. Jinxie

You’re 100% correct, no one like the author exists, anywhere. So fake, real people never tolerate opinions that differ from theirs. I mean, c’mon! A queer, trans, whateverthefuck EBT-Rex writing in support of TBS!? Pshhh, nope.

    5. suuuuuckittrebek

Next time post an email from a worthwhile (ie, White) person instead of a broken piece of dysgenic trash.

      1. Lola Bunny

Funny, you actually sound like a broken piece of dysgenic trash. Isn’t ironic, don’t you think? (Hope that stupid song gets stuck in your head now, too.) Try not to be such a loser in the future. Peace out!

        1. Jinxie

          HA!
Ouch… But you suck, because now that Canadian cunt is stuck in my head!

I think everyone who’s butthurt over this email is triggered, anybody got a safe space they’re not using?

Great letter but I hardly doubt that was authored by a tranny.

      1. Jinxie

Whether it was or wasn’t, the sentiment is the same: lighten the fuck up, people. I don’t care how they identity, I don’t care about race, I give zero fucks about who they are, just as I’m sure they give zero fucks about us. As it should be.

    16. ElJefe72

I am reminded of a quote from Eleanor Roosevelt:

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

      1. Jinxie

Agreed! There’s definitively majorities of whomever that give words and opinion way too much power.
Fuck your feelings, words don’t actually hurt you.

    17. DJ Trump

      Fake as fuck.

    18. White Nationalist Turtle Rider

Well said tranny gal. The world needs more like you. Best of luck on tourbqi st to be social worker. So you know. They don’t make much money. You will get more money staying where you are. I have no idea where you live but if you are up in the Merrimack valley, when you are finished, let me know. I will help you find work in that field. Trigger out !

      1. Johnny Rocket

In social work field of course. Lol

    23. Jinxie

I don’t know, I buy it. I know a few transgendered people who seem to be like the author. They’d rather grow thicker skin and want to be treated like everyone else. Everyone else don’t get safe spaces, no sacred cows, and my trans friends don’t want to live the way of the snowflake. And it is, in fact possible for people like the author to like the same things that we do and think the same way that we do. I know, it’s nuts! It’s almost as if they don’t think they, or people like them, are special.

    24. Anon

That is the greatest letter I have ever read. The world would be a much better place if more people shared that attitude.

    25. Savage Squaw Bitch

How are you a queer tranny with kids? Just comfy with the lady parts in the moments when the urge to procreate is strong? And disabled? This is also a new chic thing to try to claim, as all the “queer trans” people tend to add that in. Disabled How? Gimme a break with this šhīt. Hope this person (did I just assume its species?!) isn’t raising those kids with half naked drag queen babysitters and without basic biology lessons. I’m seriously through with these people making labels for themselves that show how marginalized they are based on the number of adjectives they ID with. It’s annoying.

In solidarity, today we are ALL transexuals on welfare.
