SJW Administrators Ban American Flag At Londonderry High School Pep Rally, Try To Say It’s Because They Love The Flag TOO Much, Fails Miserably

Apparently Londonderry High School does not like the American flag at their pep rallies:

No American flags in an American public school. Welcome to TRIGGERED America 2017. Where nationalism is outlawed, because it sounds too much like white nationalism.
When this flyer went out it caused a commotion and the administration went into full cover up mode. But what could they possibly say to explain this one away? Here’s the email they sent out:
Email from the principal this morning regarding the pep rally.
Good morning Londonderry School Community,
We are writing to clarify a letter that was sent to two team members from each varsity sport for our annual fall pep rally. This is an event at Londonderry High School where we show our school pride and spirit leading into Mack Plaque weekend. Our Pep Rally Aides and Advisor work very hard to prepare a pep rally that acknowledges our student-athletes who are introduced to the floor as they enter the gym team by team, as well as our student-body who proudly wear our school colors of red, white, and blue. The letter that the team representatives received was meant to clarify our expectations for team introductions. The bullets on the letter provided guidelines and reminders for our varsity teams to have an appropriate entrance.
The fourth bullet point referencing no use of the American flag during team entrance protocol was added out of reverence for the flag, as it was inadvertently mishandled in a past pep rally. United States Military Veterans on our staff at the time expressed concern over proper flag etiquette and standards of respect. The nature of the team entrances into the gym does not lend itself to the proper handling of the flag. After teams are introduced, everyone in the gym rises to appropriately honor the American flag which is prominently displayed on our gymnasium wall, as a student sings the National Anthem, which officially starts our pep rally. We hope this information clarifies some of the misconceptions that are circulating in the community.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA!!! They expect you to believe this? I guess it was there only move really. I’d love to be a fly on the wall at that meeting….
“Hey, we were just trying to show the world that we hate Trump too, because the only people who support the flag are racist Trump people.”

“Oh, I have an idea – lets’ say we’re banning the American flag because we care about it so much and we don’t want a student to accidentally touch the ground.”
“I dunno, you think they’ll buy that?”
“They’re Trump voters. They’re literally children who will believe anything.”
“Done.”
Even if this was the truth, which it’s clearly not, it still would be a stupid reason to ban the American flag. If a kid disrespects the flag during a rally, you teach him or her proper flag etiquette. You don’t just ban it outright unless you don’t know how to teach. But of course most administrators don’t know how to teach, which is how they ended up in administration in the first place.
Every kid at Londonderry should have an American flag with them at that pep rally and force the school to confiscate it from them. Wouldn’t that be fun?

Hey, a student from Londonderry High School here. I’m going to tell you all why the flag was “banned”.
1) Students in the past (on the sports teams) used the flag as a cape and sat on it/got it dirty.
Thats pretty much it. Now here is the TRUTH of the situation, because you have it all wrong.
-The flag is only banned from sports performances. At the pep rally the sports teams run out and do skits. Its not allowed there.
-Students in the stands are allowed to have full size flags, but are encouraged not to because of how crowded it gets, students end up sitting on them.
-Students are fully allowed to wear the flag however. Our school colors are red, white, and blue.
-We have a flag in every classroom, say the pledge every day, and have several flags from wars displayed prominently. We don’t hate the flag.
-The person who sent out the FIRST letter (which is what you have) is one of the most patriotic people I know.
-There is a revised version of the letter sent out that is much better. It was an error that the first letter said the flag was banned when it wasn’t.
-The teachers clarified this in classes (multiple teachers) and how its a big misunderstanding.
Any questions ask me because I’m living this right now.
This is heroin high everyone, get used to it.
I’ll betcha that Mr Juster wears a bow tie to Pep Rally meetings. And his husband Mr Juster too.

I’ve noticed flag etiquette as the reason liberals are saying they are banning the flag now. This is a lie, they found a way to ban the flag that gives them, in their eyes the moral high ground.
