Seventeen-year-old twin sisters escaped injury Wednesday morning while on their way to school when their car in ended up in a swimming pool at a home on Easy Street. No one was injured in the accident, which occurred about 7:45 a.m., according to Melanie Blodgett-O’Toole, public information officer for the Police Department. She said one of the teens was driving a 2002 Lexus west on West River Road at Easy Street when the car somehow went off the road. Police received a 911 call from the homeowner where the pool is located, she said. The vehicle was later pulled from the icy pool.
Don’t you hate when you’re driving your Lexus to school and you end up in a pool? Anyway, we looked on Google Earth at this neighborhood, and this is the only possible way it could’ve happened:
They were traveling on West River Rd, going towards Easy Street. And thanks to the Walking Dead whenever I hear “Easy Street” I will always think about poor Daryl Dixon.
But look at the picture again:
You see a white picket fence, a red swingset outside of it, and on the street perpendicular to Easy Street you see a white house on the left, followed by a white house on the right and a red house on the right. Now check it out on Google Earth:
Yup. That’s the house.
Thank God the twin girls are alright. But yea, they’re gonna have some explaining to do, because they obviously must’ve driven through about 100 yards of three or four people’s backyards before finally coming to a stop in someone’s pool. Oops!!
