The Gay Community Is Not Oppressed And We Fully Support Equal Rights, So Why Do We Pretend That They’re Under Attack In Worcester?

So the LGBT Pride groups held their annual parade in Worcester and other places this weekend, which is lovely. At Turtleboy we are 100% in favor of gay rights and always have been. When I look at Tom Brady sometimes, I even contemplate switching teams. Just sayin.

Anyway, we’re all about equal rights for all. But the good news is that when it comes to equality, no one is less oppressed than gay people in Worcester in particular. Just to review:

  • City Manager Ed Augustus, who gets paid $250,000 a year for a job he is grossly unqualified for and was handed by his friends on the City Council, is gay.
  • Pride week is widely supported by the mayor, state senators, US Congressman, and pretty much every other elected official.

  • Paul Giorgio, who runs Mayor Joe Petty’s campaign, and owns Pulse Magazine, which shakes down every bar and restaurant in Worcester County to advertise in his free magazine, is gay.
  • Turtlegram and Gazette columnist Dianne Williamson is gay.
  • The City Council just passed a unanimous 11-0 resolution to support a statewide ban of conversion therapy.
  • Lots of churches in Worcester proudly display the rainbow flag and are welcome and accepting of the gay community.
  • The crosswalks in Worcester are painted for gay pride.

  • Gay people are the kind of folks you want as your neighbors because in general they are doing well for themselves economically, they don’t commit crimes nearly as often as their heterosexual counterparts, and they don’t let their houses look like shit. I’m sure there are some gay ratchets out there, but I’ve yet to see it with my own eyes.
  • The Pride flag flies in front of City Hall.

So just to review, the gay community in Worcester has significant influence and power politically, economically, religiously, and in the media. And once again, this is all great. We’re very happy to live in a community that doesn’t treat people like second class citizens because of who they choose to be with.

So here’s my question – why are we pretending like gay people are oppressed? Because that’s certainly the tone that’s being set at the Pride events:

“Whereas it’s the birthright of all citizens to be able to live to the fullest extent possible,” Mayor Petty said. “We realize that this is not possible until all citizens share equal rights and do not live in fear because of their sexual orientation or perceived sexual orientation.”

Equal rights? What rights do gay people not have in Worcester? Please, enlighten me. The gay community has influence and a voice in the media through Dianne Williamson. They’re politically active and have influence in who gets elected. Paul Giorgio’s gay mafia threatens local businesses that advertise on Turtleboy Sports. The guy who holds the most powerful and highly paid position in the city is a member of the gay community. No one who matters or has any sort of influence is vocally opposed to gay rights. So in what way do gay people in Worcester not share equal rights or live in fear? Oh right, they don’t.

But it comes back to this:

Local entertainer and host of New England’s first LGBTQ television show “New England Pride TV” Dale LePage was the co-grand marshal from the Pride Day event, along with Tommy Connelly of Orlando, Fla., who is a survivor of the June 12, 2016 massacre at Pulse, a gay nightclub, in which 49 people were killed.

Newsflash – that guy who killed 49 people in Orlando was likely a closeted gay man who was fighting back his urges because he’s a member of the most anti-gay religion that has ever existed – Islam. The same religion that for whatever reason is more defended by the SJW community than any other religion.

The bottom line is that thanks to the oppression Olympics, it’s become fashionable to pretend that you’re being oppressed. But gay people are not oppressed by the government, and neither is anyone else in Worcester.

We urge you to support the following local businesses. They provide terrific services for the community!

“they don’t commit crimes nearly as often as their heterosexual counterparts” – Domestic violence rates are pretty high in the ‘community.’

The Democrats want more ‘oppressed victim’ groups, who they train to depend on the Democrats to save them from imaginary injustices…thus the infatuation with all things non-heterosexual..

Why pretend? So that Granny Warren, Senator Frosty, Jim McGovernment and all your favorite do-nothings in the Worcester city administration can keep advertising themselves as “champions of equal rights” and keep getting reelected. That’s why. It’s so obvious Turtleboy never read a book called “After the Ball”, the ultimate blueprint for an eternal grievance politics campaign. Highly recommended.

Pretending one is a victim, gives them more power. Not just the gays, but their coat holders too. They would never give up the power, but want more of it.

If being gay is something to be proud of why do Ed Augustus and Dianne Williamson stay in the shadows? They have not once declared their natures, preferring instead to hide in craven silence.

I have never been embarrassed to be gay until this ratchet group got coverage. Is there something in the water in Worcester that just makes people incomprehensible? Wasn’t gay pride in June are they that slow in Worcester that they wait until September and what was the purpose of bringing a so-called survivor out of the pulse nightclub what idoes that accomplish thank out I don’t live in Massachusetts anymore is just one sad sad place. Since I’m on a roll what exactly is that in the gray suit and a hot pink blouse or shirt? Is that a man or woman who wants to look like one. You know people get pissed because they’re not understood. How about presenting yourself in a way that somebody can understand you.

According to the DEA the biggest pushers of methamphetamine in Massachusetts is the Gay community. They have direct connections to the Mexican cartels who are supplying it. The Gay poster is correct, rampant drug use in the community is bad but the real reason no one is cracking down hard on the dealers is that they are a Liberal protected class and needed voter base.

I’m taking the bait. I’m a gay male and I have several gripes with the gay community. As far as being oppressed, I don’t think that for one minute. I graduated from umass with a STEM degree, and have been pulling in anywhere from 100 to 190K/yr for the past decade. All I get is job offers and raises and promotions, note discrimination.. Hard work, responsibility! Sure, there are redneck christians that hate my guts – but I worked my ass off, and it paid off, and what they think of me really doesn’t matter because, well, I make more than them!

Now back to my gay community gripes: (1) The epidemic drug use in gay men well into the 40s. WTF? Peter Pan syndrome?! Worse yet, if you make any negative statement about party drug use you get called out by gay SJWs about how it’s all because they have low self esteem and that you “harm the community” by exposing problems in the community. Lets call it choice and further lets demand personal responsibility. I didn’t shove a meth pipe in your face. (2) PrEP and the legions of guys on manhunt.net that have it in their profiles for the HIV status. My problem with PrEP is who is ultimately paying for it. A 25 year old male gets an Rx for PrEP from his Doctor, so that he can safely sleep around and take cock as often he can get it. But the PrEP is $1000/mo and your insurance company is paying for it. On the other hand, I pay $490/mo to Blue Cross as a premium – so if / when something bad happens – like I screw up my knee, or need a new hip, or get into a serious, unpreventable medical incident – that I know I won’t have much of a bill… My entire premium won’t even pay for half a months PrEP for someone who wants drugs so they can bang bareback. If enough of them do it, my premium must go up to provide the same risk coverage that I need for sports injury, heart problem whatever. PrEP should come out of pocket – not from my premium. My insurance premiums are not paid out so you can whore and enjoy yourself, it’s there to cover the costs and risks of catastrophic medical crises. Gays need to stop bitching about discrimination and focus more on personal accountability and growing into the responsibilities of adulthood!

Perpetuating hate and racism is big business. All many Democrats really have.
