I just wanna take a moment to point out how Tory Krug was the living embodiment of the undeniable fact that God Loves Us More last night.
Torey Krug’s hit without his helmet on was probably the closest definition of toughness in video form in existence. pic.twitter.com/ORCA8uazFC

He really does. And I just ordered my God Loves Us More Stanley Cup Finals t-shirt yesterday. Order your’s today by clicking here.
Perron was fucking with him and took his helmet off. But instead of whining about it to the refs he got up, charged down the ice, and had his vengeance. Pray for St. Louis.
Anyway, that game was awesome. At no point was I even the least bit worried that we were gonna lose, even down 2-0. That second goal the Blues scored was a gift they didn’t earn, while every Bruins goal was the direct result of hard work, determination, skill, grit, and God’s blessing.
The Blues offense blows. They have just one 30 goal scored, and three 20 goal scorers. They were ranked 21st in the NHL in goals scored, and they basically play hockey like the Baltimore Ravens. The Sharks were a much more dangerous team, and I thank the good Lord for delivering us this cupcake. Plus, we don’t lose to this crapbag city in Championships. Just ask the 1970 Bruins, 2004 and 2013 Red Sox, and the 2001 Patriots.
Anyway, I’ve seen headlines from WEEI, NESN, and Barstool that people are complaining about the Krug hit, but all I’ve found are these blue checkmarks:
Krug with a punishing hit on Thomas that clearly should have been a charging penalty. He was obviously PO'd because Perron had committed three penalties on him in the defensive zone and officials stood there and watched and called nothing. Brutal officiating. A real NHL problem.

How the hell is that not a charging penalty on Krug? Wow.

And they both got ratioed, so it looks like most people disagree. This is hockey, not feelings orientation at Framingham State. And honestly, I can’t even get mad at Blues fans since none of them are blaming the refs. This was by far my favorite Blues take of all:
So St. Louis it hurts.
