Tonight was the first School Committee meeting without Tracy Novick in six years. Well, kind of. In one of the saddest and most pathetic things we’ve ever seen, it appears as if Tracy Novick is going to continue to go to meetings and live tweet the play by play while uploading her blog, despite finishing in a distance 7th place after the Turtleboy Sports Revolution usurped her and ended her reign of terror:
Sweet baby Jesus. Someone get this woman a rubric’s cube or a book of sudokus. Anything really. Where are her friends and loved ones? How are they letting this happen? I understand that 99% of people can’t stand this woman, but what kind of friends let someone do this to themselves?
I mean, she’s sitting there, on the OTHER SIDE of a wooden barrier sitting on a wooden bench, because she’s no longer allowed in the comfortable leather swivel chairs. Those are only for School Committee members.
And to make matters worse she’s live tweeting about Donna Colorio, a woman who literally took the seat from her after Turtleboy Sports backed her campaign.
Oh yea, and the vote she’s talking about is to get rid of the national search for superintendent. When her and Hilda Ramirez were on the SC this is something they both wanted. They both wanted to waste our money when we have a highly qualified woman named Maureen Binienda waiting in the wings. They had the votes (4-3) to get it done too. But now that they were replaced by Colorio and Molly McCullough, both of whom voted against the search, it’s a 5-2 vote to get rid of the search. Looks like it’s just Jumpin Joe Petty and 4th place Jack Foley now. The Revolution OBVIOUSLY was successful. We did this people. We just saved the city tens of thousands of dollars on a nationwide search by dethroning Tracy Novick.
What she is doing is like following around your ex-girlfriend, watching her make out with other dudes, and live tweeting it with no emotion. I don’t even know what to say. This is just plain sad. I’d feel bad for her if she wasn’t Tracy Novick. I’d feel sorry for her if she didn’t sue the city on behalf of crackheads’ right to panhandle. I’d have empathy for her if she didn’t call cops at North High School an armed encampment. I’d sympathize with her if this wasn’t her Twitter profile picture:
But at the end of the day she is and will continue to be Tracy Novick. She doesn’t deserve our symptathy or pity. You can take the School Committee out of the Tracy Novick, but you can’t take the Tracy Novick out of the School Committee.
P.S. Turtleboy is SERIOUSLY considering starting a GoFundMe to pay bums to panhandle in front of her house. We will provide the chairs and the bums and give them ample amounts of Mountain Dew so they have to urinate frequently. Good idea or bad idea?
