So as usual the Turtlegram comes through with basically the most misleading headline ever. They’re not selling “illegal firearms.” The Turtlegram literally made that part up for the clickbait. If they were selling “illegal firearms” then the owner of the Gun Parlor would be in jail right now facing serious FEDERAL charges. The ATF would come down on them like Trigglypuff attacking the all you can eat Chinese buffet.
The Gun Parlor obviously wasn’t able to comment on this story because it’s an ongoing legal matter. But anyone who knows anything about anything in Worcester knows that they got in trouble because they sold guns that are only allowed to be sold to law enforcement officers, to people like Sheriff’s deputies. They’re 100% allowed to do this by law, but Maura Healey is going after them anyway because she knows that a long and drawn out lawsuit is something she can afford, but they can’t. After all, she has unlimited taxpayer funding to file lawsuits against anyone she doesn’t like.

“The investigation by the attorney general’s office also found the Gun Parlor failed to provide legally mandated safety warnings to customers, did not properly verify that handguns sold to law enforcement and military personnel were being purchased for official duties, and sold handguns with a barrel length shorter than three inches without required consumer disclosures about the weapons’ potentially limited accuracy.”
Oh for fuck’s sake.
Every person who buys a gun in Massachusetts already took an extensive training class where they go over all of this stuff regarding safety. This is how petty Maura Healey is. She’s punishing them, and costing them TONS of business, because they failed to provide “safety warnings to customers” who are all well aware of the dangers and responsibilities that come along with purchasing a gun.
The Gun Parlor is in trouble with the Attorney General because, 1) she hates guns, 2) she’s looking to build her anti-gun resume before running for governor in 2018, and 3) she’s a petty, awful human being who is abusing the powers of her office in order to revenge on Turtleboy Sports.
Ya see, Turtleboy has written about Maura Healey many, many times, for her hypocrisy and corruption. We pointed out what a waste of taxpayer money it was to create a state-funded safespace hotline so people could call up and tell state employees about the mean things other people are saying to them on Facebook. When we tried calling the hotline to tell them that people were calling us racist and threatening us with messages, we were told that this was free speech, not hate speech. Then they hung up on us.

Maura obviously didn’t like the fact that her stupid program was being mocked in front of hundreds of thousands of voters.
And if you recall a couple months back, Turtleboy Sports broke the story that State Rep candidate Moses Dixon, who Maura Healey had endorsed, was arrested in 2012 for choking his girlfriend until she was covered in red marks.
Four days after our story broke Maura Healey doubled down and called our factual, undisputed, police and courthouse confirmed story an “ugly baseless attack by the GOP.”
This, despite the fact that Maura Healey has been leading a crusade against domestic violence as AG:

So just to review. Maura Healey doesn’t approve of inanimate objects being sold to Sheriff’s Deputies because they didn’t come with the proper safety instructions, but she has no problem with a human being who used his body to inflict physical harm against a defenseless woman. Sounds about right.
Maura Healey obviously was humiliated and embarrassed. All this time she thought the only media outlet that would possibly criticize her was the Boston Herald. Clearly she did not see Turtleboy coming. Poor girl probably can’t sleep at night because she has turtle on the brain. And since she can’t stop us, this is how she gets back at us – by abusing the powers of her office to pick fights with small businesses.
And since when is it the job of the AG to attack small businesses like this? The Attorney General’s office exists to make sure people’s civil liberties aren’t being violated by institutions, and to go after big, corrupt organizations. But when you’re corrupt yourself, and all your friends are the ones who really need to be investigated, you end up attacking small businesses that pay taxes and provide jobs to the public.
She also doesn’t like the fact that a successful gun dealer operates out of Worcester – a city her and her cronies have had in the bag since the beginning of time. Gun dealers aren’t supposed to be in urban areas according to them. They’re supposed to be in rural areas full of deplorables. The fact that the second largest city in New England has a store that lets you buy a perfectly legal, and constitutionally protected product, makes her head explode.
She also could’ve picked any gun dealer to do this to. But she chose the one that advertises on Turtleboy Sports. She chose the one with a big fat sign that you can see right where 190 and 290 merge. Advertising on one of those billboards costs $5,000 a month. The Gun Parlor is getting it for free merely because of their location. It’s brilliant actually. And this enrages Maura Healey.
The bottom line is that if Maura Healey wants to dance, we can dance. We have no problem destroying her and adding her to the Turtleboy Sports graveyard. We don’t even like Charlie Baker, but we will support him out of spite if she runs against him. Any person who contributes to her campaign will be publicly shamed. Anyone who supports her will get the full Turtleboy Sports treatment. This woman wants a war with Turtleboy, and now she’s got it.

I’ll make a trip to buy some ammo but I won’t be giving to a GoFundMe plea. As someone stated above – begging turns me off. Gun owners are a loyal bunch but don’t give our fascist AG any “ammo” that hurts us all.
The Gun Parlor is thoroughly professional and exercises due diligence when selling weapons and ammunition, the same is true of the gun range they operate. I shoot there all the time!
She needs to get the boot. She oversteps her power every time she has a chance. I hope all teh local gun owners will support this shop by doing business with them.
The only thing that kind of pisses me off is the shop started a Gofundme page to help pay the fine. I lost a lot of respect for them after seeing this. I would have been happy to donate to a gofundme to help pay for a lawyer to fight it but not to help pay the fine.
I am betting this all comes back to the Business next door whose owner is a friend of Jim McGovern.
For a city that’s desperate to get new business to open up here, they sure like to do everything they can to shut down the ones they don’t personally or politically favor.

Baker is Healey’s bitch – as evidenced in his complicity in the AG’s illegal directives concerning her unlawful re-interpretation of the federal and MA state AWB laws.
Illegal Firearm Sales? Sure…They using the “gunshow loophole” to subvert their FFL license compliance? Don’t know if they’re a Title I/II dealer for LE, but that license you definitely don’t want to lose, or even risk. So, it makes perfect sense that they’d want to run afoul of the BATFE just so they could dupe a few rubes by selling them a 2″ DA only .38 as being an accurate alternative to a long slide semi auto 1911. Because, isn’t that what all gun dealers do? Did they also forget to install the little orange empty chamber indicators too? The horror.
I honestly don’t know how anyone in Massachusetts will survive if this evil gun store isn’t shut down. In the meantime, I hope the owner’s attorney is sending a really cool letter to this alleged “news” organization.

Anyone that doesn’t observe Rule 1 first and foremost, and act appropriately, should not own a firearm. There are only two circumstances for an “accidental discharge”, that’s mechanical failure and cook off. And even those can be attributed to negligence to a degree.
Don’t know about you guys, but it doesn’t matter to me if a weapon has a safety, or not. The primary safety feature on any gun is, don’t put your finger on the fucking trigger and it won’t fire. The only pistols I carry with the safety engaged are my 1911s. I’m close to 50 years of handling firearms now and have never had a negligent discharge.
I know the flags are so you can see it’s empty with the slide closed, but when you want to assure everyone of condition 4, you lock the slide back so the breech and chamber can be observed as clear.
Just like anything else, all the safety features in the world will be defeated by a determined idiot and Darwin will get another notch. It sounded to me like this list and other parts of the law had some ambiguity and the store is paying the fines because it would cost more to fight it in court.
Laws left open to multiple interpretations are the worst. My state wanted to reword the concealed carry law so that if someone’s weapon was observed, they wouldn’t lose their permit because they’re shirt came up. Well, geniuses immediately interpreted the law as an invitation to open carry because the wording was changed to “concealed in whole, or in part”. So to them, a owb holster on a belt was concealed “in part”. First, if you walk around in public like that and don’t have a badge, you’re inviting scrutiny, and a possible trespassing charge. Second, you’re number one on the hit list when somebody with bad intentions shows up.
