We got back on Twitter by having a turtle rider create @UncleTurtleboy for us, and they signed in at their house and shared our blogs for us. We wanted to see if our homes were blacklisted from Twitter, or if they were just looking for us and banning anyone who shares our content. Turns out it’s both, because this morning I woke up and @UncleTurtleboy was permanently suspended.

In the last few weeks Twitter has gotten even more insane, and made it blatantly obvious that anyone who isn’t far left is no longer welcome to share their views openly in their “public square.” That’s because they’ve updated their terms of service to permanently ban anyone who “misgenders” or “deadnames” a transgender individual. In other words, if a dude says he’s a chick, you are now REQUIRED to refer to that person as a chick. If you correctly answer the question, “who won the gold medal at the 1976 Olympics in the decathlon,” you will violate the rules of Twitter. They are no longer just banning speech, they are compelling speech, which is much more dangerous.
The social media company has changed its rules to ban the practices and has warned that any user who deliberately targets a trans person in these ways may face permanent suspension. These offensive techniques—which involve using the wrong gender to refer to a trans person or a trans person’s old name—are often used on Twitter to insult and erase trans people’s identities and right to exist. In Twitter’s updated terms of service, the company states: “We prohibit targeting individuals with repeated slurs, tropes or other content that intends to dehumanize, degrade or reinforce negative or harmful stereotypes about a protected category.
This includes targeted misgendering or deadnaming of transgender individuals.”
Why are they doing this? Because words hurt transgender people more than they hurt other people.
The move, which was made in late October but only broadly noticed on the platform on Friday (November 23), also involved adding a section in which Twitter acknowledges that LGBT+ people suffer abuse online more than most.
“We recognize that if people experience abuse on Twitter, it can jeopardize their ability to express themselves,” the paragraph begins.“Research has shown that some groups of people are disproportionately targeted with abuse online. This includes; women, people of color, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual individuals, marginalized and historically underrepresented communities,” it continues. “For those who identity [sic] with multiple underrepresented groups, abuse may be more common, more severe in nature and have a higher impact on those targeted.”
The social media giant has also created a new section of its terms of service, called “Consequences,” in which explains the actions it is pledging to take against offenders.
They’re not even pretending to be neutral anymore. They’re telling users that this particular political issue is no longer one that is open for debate. They are right and you are wrong, and therefore you are not allowed to express your opinion on their platform, despite the fact that they claim that it is the “public square.”
And……..now we’re gone.
Just to make it perfectly clear – there are two genders. That’s it. If you have XY chromosomes you are a dude, and I will refer to you as a dude because I have the freedom to tell you the truth. If this offends you I don’t even remotely care. Your feelings are not my concern, and my speech will not revolve around making you feel better.

- Laura Loomer, an outspoken and fairly radical conservative who has criticized Islam a lot (she’s Jewish) was banned from Twitter and Facebook on the same day (also known as collusion) because she expressed her opinion that Minnesota Congresswoman-elect Ilhan Omar was not a good representative for women since she’s in favor of Sharia Law.

- Left wing feminist Meghan Murphy was kicked off Twitter this week after publicly stating that transgender women are not really women. Initially she was just locked out of her account until she deleted a tweet, but then she was permanently kicked off for talking about it. Her beef as a feminist is that men are becoming women and beating women in sports. If you have a problem with this you are now banned from the public square.
- Conservative radio host and Marine Corps Veteran Jesse Kelly was permanently suspended from Twitter without any explanation given. He’s created a new Twitter account, and quickly found out that they’re tracking his IP address too. He previously appeared on Tucker Carlson and warned people that banning Alex Jones was dangerous, because it was the beginning of a slippery slope.

My question is, why are conservatives, or anyone who believes in free speech, still using Twitter? As long as the Donald Trump’s and Ben Shapiro’s of the world continue to bring an audience of millions to their platform they will have no reason to stop censoring. Oh wait, I know the answer that one – there’s nowhere else to go. Twitter and Facebook are monopolies and operate in the same manner. They are the gatekeepers of free speech because billions of people use them to share information. In the past this was known as a monopoly and progressives used to break them up. Now progressives no longer believe in free speech and support billion dollar monopolies run by rich young white guys in San Francisco, because they realize that Twitter and Facebook banning conservatives will help them win elections.
Where are the lawyers at to challenge this? Where is are republican congressmen to hold their feet to the fire? What use is Donald Trump if he’s not only doing nothing to stop them, but encouraging people to use their platform by announcing policy decisions on Twitter? I honestly hope they come for a big name like Ben Shapiro next. It’s the only way this is going to get fixed.

Twitter is going down just give it some time. They can govern however they want on their site but consumers will dictate their survival. A lot of people do not realize how efficiently consumers curb the behavior of private enterprise. Don’t like them? Get off of twitter. Eventually Twitter will be forced to sink or swim.
