If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hey fam – if you’d like to support Turtleboy and what we do here, feel free to hit the donate button at the top. We basically have to run this site like a Bernie Sanders campaign now since we’ve been blacklisted by Google and Facebook, due to the fact that rabid SJWs keep reporting our posts. Getting blacklisted by Google is a death sentence for most websites, since it’s much harder to monetize. And we all know the damage Facebook has done. We’re never going to stop fighting for free speech, but in the meantime the best way for turtle riders to fight back is to donate to the cause. Without you people none of this is possible. We love you all.
Update – we’ve already been donated a new Turtleboy Twitter account – follow @LongLiveTBS by clicking here.
I know, I know – another Turtleboy blog whining about Twitter/Facebook censorship. We do this to document it all. We’re not going to stop fighting for our right to express our opinions on public forums like Twitter. And yes, Twitter is a public forum. Just ask Jack Dorsey who repeatedly called Twitter the “public square” when he testified in front of Congress:
“We must ask the question: What is Twitter incentivizing people to do, or not do and why?” Twitter CEO @jack Dorsey says before the Senate Intelligence Committee. “We’re here to contribute to a healthy public square, not to have the only one” #tictocnews pic.twitter.com/ATbWvesNXx

Twitter cannot rightly serve as a public square if it’s constructed around the personal opinions of its makers. We believe a key driver of a thriving public square is the fundamental human right of freedom of opinion and expression.

It’s an honor to be able to speak to the American people on behalf of our service. We realize Twitter is used by many as a public square, and our singular objective as a company is to help increase the health and integrity of conversations found within.

The public square is a fundamental component of living in a democracy. For a democracy to work people have to be able to exchange ideas freely. And the fact of the matter is that Twitter and Facebook are where those conversations occur in 2018. We will fight for our right to express our opinions in the public square until we DIE. And if you don’t like it, you can go right ahead and fuck yourself. Because we’re gonna keep on talking about it.
In June our third Twitter account @TurtleboyNews was suspended because we told conservatives who were boycotting Samantha Bee’s advertisers that they were being cunty.
If you recall, Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a feckless cunt on TV and kept her job. SJWs start boycotts. People who believe in free speech let them talk, no matter how offensive it is.
All we want is consistency. That’s why when we saw Kathy Griffin tweet this after Jeff Flake voted to confirm Kavanaugh:
C) Feckless Cunt 2.0 pic.twitter.com/MHxmX3oaDC
— Kathy Griffin (@kathygriffin) October 5, 2018
It seemed kind of inconsistent. This woman has millions of followers and a blue checkmark. She’s posted pictures of Trump’s severed head before. And yet she’s allowed to call people cunts on Twitter because she’s in a bad mood and what she’s mad about is so righteous that rules do not apply to her.
For the record, she should be allowed to call Jeff Flake a cunt if she wants to, what with free speech and all. But it’s still inconsistent so we pointed that out:
A turtle rider asked us why this was happening and we told him it was because she called the “right” people cunts, and we called the “wrong” people cunts:
How does that tweet threaten, harass, or promote violence on the basis of race, gender, ethnicity, etc? Oh right, it doesn’t. It’s simply calling out hypocrisy. Meanwhile, Kathy Griffin’s tweet is still up. Because Twitter proved our point for us – only leftists are allowed to use the word cunt.
It initially said we were suspended for 12 hours:
But right when the suspension was about to end the entire account was shut down. Now it’s gone forever. We appealed it but no one reads appeals. They just put that so you think people work for Twitter. They don’t.
I can’t emphasize what a threat this is to democracy. We’ve lost over 20,000 followers and were promoting a bunch of candidates for elected office. We have now lost the ability to reach people with updates about candidates and why or why not you should vote for them. We can’t follow breaking news announcements from people we chose to follow. We can’t do anything. We’d go somewhere else but….there’s nowhere else to go. Because Twitter is the public square. It’s where everyone is.
The ironic part is that this is a company that’s worried that Russians used their platform to subvert democracy, when in fact it’s actually them doing it. All this Russia bullshit is is just an excuse for a left wing run “neutral” platform to silence any voices that don’t regurgitate left wing talking points in order to influence public opinion for the election. That’s it. It’s all a huge scam and we’re not going to stop calling them out on it and finding ways to get on their platform in spite of them.
In the meantime if you want to help us fight back against this censorship feel free to buy a decal or hit the donate button above. Also, we got new t-shirts coming out tomorrow so stay tuned.
