This is 23 year old Mark Lutchman from Philadelphia:
He’s a father and a member of the National Guard. He’s also very politically outspoken, well written, and has a large following on social media. He runs a page called “The Colored Conservative” found here. As you can probably tell from the name, he is a black right winger, and thus has become a target. Currently he has 107,000 followers. The user interaction on his page is off the charts. Look at all the comments, likes, and shares he gets on typical posts:
His average posts get thousands of likes, hundreds, if not thousands of comments, and thousands of shares. That’s insane for a person with the size of his following. It tells you that his content is something that appeals to lots of people who come to Facebook often just to see what he’s saying. Facebook is making money off of him and selling the data on his followers to advertisers.
For a comparison Masslive has about 100,000 followers, very similar to his following. Here’s what interaction looks like on their page:
Not even a fraction of his. This tells you that he’s doing a good job and providing content that people want to see.
Things were going well for him. This was a full time job, and he used the platform (that he built up with quality content and hard work) to share links to his blog – TheLitchmanReport.com. Check it out. It’s a pretty tame blog. Nothing outrageous. No foul language. No nudity. No “hate speech.” Just a guy expressing his right wing opinions on current events.
But this is not his first Facebook page. A previous page of the same name had 300,000 followers. On November 8 he woke up and his page was gone. All that hard work, down the drain. He had no posts removed. He was not made aware of WHY his page was taken dow. He did not get an email or a notification. It was just GONE!!
He’s been trying to reach them for months ever since, but like Turtleboy knows all too well, no one actually works at Facebook. There’s no phone number that small business owners like us can call. You are at the mercy of their robots, even though they claim human beings are making these judgement calls.
But it gets worse.

His website is “deemed to be unsafe.”
This is INSANE. We’ve had a lot of shit taken down, but they’ve never blacklisted our site outright. Yet you could share a link to any porn site on Facebook or send it in messenger. Sure, it might get taken down, but it’s not blacklisted. He is though. Makes sense.
Facebook’s policies are clear – outspoken conservative black men are dangerous and unsafe. Social justice warriors whine about racism and white people keeping the black man down a lot. Well, here’s a white billionaire banning a black man from his site because his conservative but respectful speech is “unsafe.” So where are the SJWs at? Oh right, he’s not the right kind of black guy, which is why he’s under attack in the first place. He plays for the wrong team.
He’s posted extensively about it and how it has affected him and his family on the new Facebook page:
My name is Mark Lutchman. In September 2016 i started a Facebook page titled after myself. It took me a year of time & effort but I built a following of over 300,000. This page & the hard work I put into building it provided me a stable living for me as a 23 year old single father of a 3 year old girl. I am also a part time Army National Guardsman.
Exactly one year after the election on November 8th 2017, My page & everything I built suddenly vanished. My website was blacklisted from the site, And with it, all of my income was suddenly gone. I lost absolutely everything. But what tears me apart the most is that I lost the chance to give my daughter the life that I had planned to give her.
Facebook won’t even respond to me, I’ve been trying to contact them since that day! And have not gotten a response as to why this happened. I now have to work at a diner serving food to survive and take care of my child. It really traumatized me, I am really a nobody in the grand scheme of things and this billion dollar company stole my whole life away from me without blinking an eye.
I am a human being with first amendment rights! My business is destroyed and my life is ruined with no explainable reason! Many people lost their pages I am not the only one! Facebook has ruined so many lives and won’t even acknowledge the people who they destroyed. It’s time to hold them accountable. Tell us why you are taking down conservative pages & ruining businesses. Tell me why I have to look at my daughter & explain to her that we will never have the same life again. It’s time to start talking, Facebook.
This is what Facebook does – they hurt innocent people. They attack small business owners. Mark Zuckerberg is worth $66 billion, and this guy is simply trying to make ends meet by using Zuckerberg’s monopoly to give people content that they clearly want. This guy’s self made business supports his child. Why does Mark Zuckerberg want his daughter to starve? Why is he intentionally hurting small businesses? This man has served his country and is embodying the American dream by running his own business. Why is Facebook trying to hurt him instead of trying to help him?
His frustrations are the exact same as ours. He feels helpless going against this mega-monopoly and cannot even get someone from their company on the phone. He’s done absolutely nothing wrong. Stories like this are far too common, and Facebook MUST answer for this. Share his story. Share our story. And seriously, send it to your congressman, or any congressman for that matter. They’ve brought Diamond and Silk many times at these congressional hearings, so they listen. Congress needs to know about this and they need to fix it. Facebook must be responsible for their actions when they’re profiting so much off of our data and patronage on their site.
