If you like free speech and want to support what we’re doing, feel free to donate to the Turtle fund:
Hello Turtle Riders. As you know if you follow Turtleboy we are constantly getting censored and banned by Facebook for what are clearly not violations of their terms of service. Twitter has done the same, and trolls mass reported our blog to Google AdSense thousands of times, leading to demonitization. We can get by and survive, but we could really use your help. Please consider donating by hitting the PayPal button above if you’d like support free speech and what we do in the face of Silicon Valley censorship. Or just buy our award winning book about the dangers of censorship and rise of Turtleboy:
I don’t like to waste time writing about our Facebook problems because it’s whiny and never ending, but we have to take a moment just to let people know how to find us on this privatized public square.
Turtleboy Sports Forever has been unpublished. No reason was given for this. However, this page has been unpublished 5 times already, and we usually get it back by appealing it hundreds of times a day. One time it disappeared for 3 months and randomly came back one day. No one actually works at Facebook, so no one will read any of the appeals, but we figured out that we can trigger their robots by doing the same thing our opponents do to us – mass appealing all suspensions.
In the meantime we do have a page called TBNews that you can like and follow here. We don’t currently post on it but will if Turtleboy Sports Returns gets axed as well.
Clarence Woods Emerson has 10 more days in Facebook jail. Follow him here, as that’s where we go Live from normally.
Philip V. Prentiss is our backup personal page. You can follow him here. However, he was suspended for 30 days yesterday for factually pointing out that Worcester ACLU president Chris Robarge is in fact fat and slovenly, and the ACLU is a joke.
As you can see, he is both fat and slovenly. And the ACLU, which is supposed to be a non-partisan organization that lobbies for basic civil rights, spent millions of dollars on a commercial to oppose Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s appointment to the Supreme Court, even though there was zero evidence he had done anything wrong. Assuming guilt until innocence is proven is the exact opposite of civil liberties.
This happened after old Turtleboy nemesis Kevin Ksen commented on Mayor Joe Petty’s Facebook page, calling recently deceased George H.W. Bush a war criminal, and Robarge jumped in like it was second lunch.
Then after that we went to backup page number 3 – Terrance Collie. He was suspended within 15 minutes for pointing out that we were suspended by Facebook for simply posting an undeniably true set of facts.
You are not allowed to post true things on Facebook if those true things hurt people’s feelz.
On Twitter all of our bloggers have had their IP addresses flagged, so those accounts have all been shut down and we can’t create new ones. However, one of our secretary turtles has created an account @TBSporty that we do not use. She posts all of our blogs on there, so if you’re a Twitter turtle rider then follow that account for now by clicking here.
These social media bans really kill us financially. It makes me wanna puke when I think about all the money we’ve lost from this garbage, not to mention the time we’ve wasted dealing with it. We’ve now lost 33 community pages and had a billion suspensions on top of that. If you’d like to help us out please donate to the Turtle Fund by clicking on the PayPal icon at the top of this blog, or buy an anti-censorship tee-shirt here, or an anti-censorship decal here. Free speech isn’t free, and we cannot continue to exist without your support.
It’s pretty clear at this point that we’re being targeted by mass reporting. I know Kevin Lynch would not do this because Kevin Lynch is a man of his word, and he has respected our truce that we negotiated this summer. Nevertheless, someone is doing it so and we’ll never be able to count on these tech companies being consistent. So do the following if you want to read Turtleboy:
- Download our app by clicking here and don’t rely on Facebook.
- Go directly to Turtleboysports.com every day instead of waiting for it to show up in your news feed. When you do that you are a slave to Mark Zuckerberg and you read what he tells you to read. Don’t be a Zuckerslave.
- Sign up to get an email notification every time we publish a blog. It can be found right on the front page, or along the right hand rail of every blog we publish.
