Here’s your GoFundMe scam of the day:
So basically they want you to give them housewarming gifts but they don’t wanna invite you over for the housewarming party? Sounds legit.
These two lovebirds apparently just started dating a few months ago:
Brendon Boyd is a Worcesterite:
And as you can see, he wisely majored in Theater Performance in college.
He and Charla Beauvais now live in Shelton CT, in a part of the country that’s one of the most expensive places to live. Here’s what $765,000 gets you in Shelton:
Naturally then they expect you to furnish their apartment.
Is this the worst GoFundMe we’ve ever seen? Hardly. It’s not like they’re raising money for drugs or have some sort of scam going on. But it’s symptomatic of a much bigger problem with society in general – the fact that people have no shame in begging other people for things they’re supposed to pay for themselves. I mean, you’re grown adults moving into an apartment. And I’m supposed to give you money because…….you don’t wanna pay for these things? Perhaps you guys should give up on the rap dream first:
Generally it’s not a lucrative industry. Just sayin.
Anyway, it’s not the most egregious GoFundMe ever, but it got me thinking. Turtleboy needs a new pair of Jordan’s. Sure, I could just pay for them myself, but I figured you all could pay for it instead. Everyone else is doing it, might as well get in on the action!
We urge you to support the Turtleboy Sponsors by doing business with them. Without them none of this is possible. Click on any of them to check out their sites or Facebook pages.
