Jamie Eldridge Pushing Bill That Makes Sure The DOC Can’t Inform ICE When Illegal Immigrant Rapists And Murderers Are Released From Prison
Should illegal immigrants currently incarcerated in Massachusetts prisons for violent felonies be handed over to ICE after their prison sentences are up? Most people would say, “Yes, of course. What kind of stupid question is that?” But our old friend State Senator Jamie “white nationalist” Eldridge disagrees. And he is filing a bill to make sure this unnecessary harassment of violent illegal immigrants ends immediately, so that they get to stay in the United States once they get out of the can:
Herald: State prison officials since last year have released nearly 150 dangerous illegal immigrants to federal officials before they could hit the streets — including drug traffickers, child rapists and armed robbers — all of whom were flagged under an agreement now under fire on Beacon Hill. The 148 convicts ultimately landed in the hands of Immigration and Customs Enforcement as they were paroled or their sentences wrapped, covering a range of serious, sometimes violent felonies, according to data released yesterday to the Herald.
State data also show another 172 current inmates behind bars who face federal deportation orders and could eventually be released. The Herald review comes amid a fiery debate on Beacon Hill over the use of state funds to support federal immigration programs, such as the state Department of Correction’s so-called 287(g) agreement, under which state officials notify ICE about an inmate’s impending release.
Started in 2007 under then-Gov. Deval Patrick, the agreement is under attack from state Democratic lawmakers. But they face staunch opposition from Gov. Charlie Baker, who called any bill stripping state funding from the agreement “a step backwards in public safety.”
“This program is bipartisan, and the idea that it is outside the bounds of what good, solid law enforcement should look like is, by any definition, ridiculous,” Baker told the Herald in his most pointed comments on the hot-button issue to date. “This proposal has been in operation for 10 years,” he said. “It’s standard operating procedure and we should be able to continue to do it. It keeps people safe.”
So let me get something straight. This common sense program got the stamp of approval from Deval “The dopest drapes you’ve ever seen” Patrick? A guy who is pretty much as far to the left as you can possibly get. And Jamie Eldridge STILL has a problem with it? Amazing.
Iv’e said it before and I’ll say it again – the democratic party ain’t what it used to be, which is why America is stuck with President Tweet Beef. And Senator Eldridge and Representative Antonio Cabral are trying to make sure Deval Patrick’s common sense bill is eradicated:
A House bill, filed by state Rep. Antonio Cabral, would bar state funds from going toward federal immigration agreements, like the DOC’s and those signed by sheriffs in Plymouth and Bristol counties. The Baker administration also blames a sweeping bill filed by state Sen. Jamie Eldridge, dubbed the Safe Communities Act, for targeting the program. But the governor argues that Cabral’s bill could undermine efforts to keep dangerous criminals from dodging deportation orders. DOC has two officers making salaries of $76,000 and $74,000 dedicated solely to the agreement and keeping in contact with ICE.
Among the 148 inmates released to ICE, 23 were convicted of cocaine trafficking, 19 for heroin trafficking and 11 were guilty of rape or assault charges against a child. A handful of inmates also committed less-serious crimes, such as driving under the influence and destruction of property.
Others still in custody include:
• An inmate slated to be released next year after a 20- to 24-year sentence. The man, who DOC didn’t identify because of CORI laws, was charged with breaking into the home of a couple, where he bound the father, assaulted the mother and held a gun to the head of a 4-year-old;
• Another inmate, who is slated for release in 2027, was convicted of repeatedly raping a child from the ages of 10 to 12;
• Yet another was convicted of holding his ex-girlfriend against her will and repeatedly raping her; he is expected to be released next year.
Eldridge’s bill bars public employees from enforcing immigration law, but he said it allows for cooperation with ICE on anyone serving time for “serious violent felony.”
“No one in Massachusetts should ever feel unsafe.”That’s his rationale for pushing a bill that would make sure violent offenders stay in Massachusetts, instead of being sent to the country they illegally emigrated here from.
Wait…..what? So he only wants ICE contacted by the Department of Corrections if the released inmate was in prison for a
“serious violent felony”?What does that even mean? What does serious mean to Jamie Eldridge? How bout the undocumented immigrant who came here and made a living selling heroin to vulnerable people? Does he count as violent? How bout the guy who pulled a gun on you during a robbery but never actually hit you? Does that count as violent?
Hey, here’s a radical idea – illegal immigrant prisoners get deported no matter what they were in for. I know, I know, it’s pretty racist. But it kind of makes sense when you think about it. Once again, no one is trying to deport the cleaning lady who has been here raising a family for 20 years. She’ll be OK. We just want to deport the people who have proven that they can’t stay out of prison. They actually get a pretty sweet deal, since I would imagine the amenities in Shirley are significantly nicer than they’re gonna find in your average Honduran prison.
Seriously, how dumb do you have to be to vote for this racist meatpuppet? And yes, Jamie Eldridge is a white nationalist klansman. It’s why he chose to live in Acton, because he knows people of color generally stay far away from Acton. That’s just how he likes it I guess.
Jamie Eldridge wants to see how many people can die in the name of political correctness. Sure, he could use his position of authority to go to bat for anyone he wants to. After all, there’s a lot of law abiding folk out there who could use his help. But his biggest priority over everyone else, is illegal immigrant prisoners. It’s why he wants to waste your tax money investigating if Aaron Hernandez was murdered by a corrections officer. Because he hates everyone who works in law enforcement and doesn’t trust any of them. So he works to undermine them every chance he gets.
It’s why his biggest accomplishments as an elected official include banning plastic bags and dedicating a water bubbler in a failed attempt to save the environment:
Getting arrested for refusing to stop blocking the street:
Shitting on law enforcement while siding with black lives matter terrorists
And humiliating himself on national television by trying to explain to Tucker Carlson why Michelle Dubois did the right thing by warning drug dealers that ICE was coming to Brockton to do a drug raid:
This is just who he is. Jamie Eldridge likes criminals more than he does the taxpayers. But going out of his way to make sure that the DOC doesn’t inform ICE when an illegal immigrant child rapist is released from prison, is insane even for him.
