Brockton Enterprise: A teenager driving a stolen SUV assaulted an officer during his arrest, police said. About 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Stoughton police officer Daniel Barber noticed a Ford Edge trespassing without its lights on near the youth baseball field on Drake Avenue, Detective Sgt. Robert Welch said. When Barber approached the SUV, he found a 17-year-old male from Brockton, who was driving, and a 16-year-old passenger from Stoughton.
“During a conversation with the officer, the male was uncooperative and refused to identify himself,” Welch said. The officer then checked the SUV’s registration and determined the car was stolen out of Pembroke on Oct. 16, Welch said.
“When the officer approached the male juvenile, in attempt to take him into custody, the operator refused and resisted,” he said.
The male driver then assaulted the officer, punching Barber in the face and pushing him, in an attempt to get away, Welch said. The driver, who was not identified because he’s a juvenile, was charged with receiving a stolen motor vehicle, assault and battery on a police officer, carrying a dangerous weapon, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Welch said the officers found a knife on the teenager, but it was never taken out of his pocket.
Just some more of Brockton’s finest doing what they do best – stealing cars from nice South Shore towns and punching cops in the face. The kid from Stoughton was obviously trying to establish his street cred by hanging out with his boy from the hood and allowing his suburban friends to buy drugs off him at an inflated price!!! But sometimes when keeping it real goes wrong your hoodrat “friend” punches a cop in the face. Now you have to get fucked by the long dick of the law kid!!
The reaction on The Brockton Hub’s Facebook page was classic Brockton. The 17 year old perp’s Mom chimed in with some hot parenting takes:
You go girl!! Never change Brockton, never change.

If my kids were ever accused of something like this, I’d be mortified and ashamed. I certainly wouldn’t be trying to defend myself on social media. Why does it seem like having no shame and being a total piece of garbage almost always go hand in hand?
Gotta love THE CITY OF MAD DOGS BROCKTON
“I left his ass in DYS.” – According to “mom’s” FB page, these among her faves:
