Hoodrats Blockaded The Busiest Street In Worcester At Rush Hour, Cops Did Nothing To Stop It Because Chief Sargent Is Petrified Of Being Called Racist

So I was driving up Chandler Street from Kelley Square the other afternoon and couldn’t get by. No clue what was going on. Turns out ratchets literally commandeered the streets:
This was apparently in honor of a local man named TC who was killed on Chandler Street this week in a motorcycle accident. This is what a candlelight vigil looks like in the hood. A bunch of Rhodes Scholars going on Facebook Live, illegally blocking a major throughway, while inhaling each other’s toxic fumes from burnouts.
Did you hear some of the commentary about the cops in the video too?
“They can’t do nothing.”
“Soon as these boys leave them bikes is coming back. They gonna light this shit up.”
“Cops can’t lock nobody up, they gotta respect it.”
This is what Joe Petty and Ed Augustus’ Worcester looks like. While they’re cutting ribbons and building hotels that will eventually fail long after they’re in office to be blamed for it, a major road that thousands of taxpayers use to get home from work every day was taken over by a bunch of people who don’t pay any taxes to begin with.
Oh, and the cops basically let it happen. It’s not the rank and file’s fault though. This one falls on Chief of Police Steve Sargent. This is the tone he’s set since becoming chief. He is PETRIFIED of being labeled as a racist. We saw that last summer when Mambo Drink mafia showed up to a community meeting about the lawlessness that takes place at their establishment on a weekly basis in wife beaters, and instead of laying the law down with them Chief Sargent was combative with local business owners who wanted more policing in the canal district.
How else can you explain how NO ONE was arrested? There was a million people breaking the law in that video. The Kelley Square 4 did their blockade for four minutes and four of them ended up being brought to court. This went on for 15 minutes. Traffic couldn’t get through. The cops basically did NOTHING to clear the streets. Instead they accommodated these morons. They ALLOWED this to happen. People listening on the scanner heard the frustration from the cops on the scene who weren’t getting the green light to clear the roads. Because for some reason in Worcester we allow impromptu blockades whenever someone dies.
Look what they did to the road:
You can see in this picture that the cops are actually making cars TURN AROUND to accommodate the blockade:
Shockingly none of these upstanding individuals had to work on this particular Friday.
The cops cars were right in the middle of it too:
And there were more than enough cops on the scene to IMMEDIATELY disperse the crowd and arrest whoever won’t get out of the street:
But they didn’t. Because the tone is set from the Chief of Police that assholes in Worcester can do whatever they want, so long as it only lasts 15 minutes or less.
Keep in mind, Worcester just spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on new horses for the cops. Because that’s something we apparently need in 2017. Where the horses at? Looks like money well spent.
Naturally this is Sarai Rivera’s district – the biggest shithole district in Worcester. It’s gotten progressively worse during her reign of terror. Residents of District 4 are sick of her inaction too. They’re sick of the lawlessness and rampant crime. And they can’t get a call back from Councilor Ti-Ti Ho:
But according to her, she has had 3 monthly meetings with residents:
But it sounds like no one is buying her bullshit about “meetings” anymore:
And by “meetings” Sarai means, “Getting together with like-minded friends and talking about institutional racism or how to make Worcester a sanctuary city.”
Meanwhile this is what Sarai’s November opponent Coreen Gaffney has been doing with her husband Councilor Michael Gaffney:
Planting trees, mulching, buying blueberries at local farmer’s markets, and supporting local businesses. What’s Sarai doing? Asking people to pay for her trip to Africa:
And throwing fundraisers:
If you wanna take Worcester back, this is how you do it. The City Council has the ability to send the message to Chief Sargent to start actually enforcing the law. It ain’t happening with Sarai because she’s too busy using her influence to get the taxpayers to raze her church on Austin Street. But if we get Coreen in this seat, and make Michael the mayor, we can start to make Worcester a livable place once again. Vote the Turtleboy Ticket in November:
Mayor: Mike Gaffney
D4: Coreen Gaffney
D5: Paul Franco
D3: Davis Asare
