So Turtleboy has kind of been blowing up in the last 24 hours. First we broke this story about Hampshire College student Jennie Chenkin writing a hilarious letter to UMass administration demanding an apology from the UMass Republican club for forcing her and Trigglypuff to act like savages during The Triggering panel. Then Breitbart wrote about our story and linked us, and then Barstool Sports did too. Jennie Chenkin says she has a big lawsuit planned against us, so is it safe to assume that Breitbart and Turtleboy will be our codefendants?
If Jennie’s was mad that Turtleboy screenshotted her words and published them in a blog, then she REALLY isn’t going to be happy that Breitbart reproduced her email. Ya know, because Breitbart has a significantly larger audience than TBS.
On the contrary Jennie. An email is VERY newsworthy. After all, the University of Missouri students basically forced its college president to resign using these same methods. And that’s what you did in your email. You demanded things from the University of Massachusetts. Your email was a microcosm of everything wrong on college campuses today. It’s getting crazy amounts of traffic because people are generally in shock that college students like yourself can be this stupid. That in and of itself is newsworthy. Congratulations, you have become the poster child for everything that is wrong with America and there’s a good chance you might make Donald Trump the next President of the United States.
Nah Jennie, you’re not being punished. We’re just making fun of you. And for whatever reason you just won’t stop giving us material.
Anyway, the girl who taped Trigglypuff was on Fox News yesterday. Her name is Kassy Dillon and she goes to Mount Holyoke. She did a great job:
Notice that all these rational minded women on college campuses are always attractive and the psychopaths are always wooly mammoths and Rachel Maddow clones. Gee, I wonder why.
Anyway, perhaps the most ridiculous part about all of this is that Jenny Chenkin is now bullying the camerawoman and threatening to sue her. Think about that for a second. Trigglypuff and Jennie Chenkin went out of their way to publicly disrupt a panel because they disagreed with the panelists’s opinions. Their goal was to create so much noise and draw so much attention to themselves that the speakers would not be able to state their opinions. And when they got this attention and they didn’t like the way people reacted to it, they blamed one of the many people in the auditorium with a cameraphone who did exactly what they hoped they would do – pay attention to them. You can’t make this stuff up.
Jennie has two Twitter handles. The one’s linked above are from her new handle which she created on May 1. But she was threatening legal charges against Kassy Dillon from her primary account well before this:

And obviously she’s an expert on the law, so you know this is legit.
This is the part that’s really ridiculous:
Jennie Chenkin, a friend and classmate of Segal’s who also attended Yiannopoulos’ event, lambasted the student journalist who posted the original video online. In a complaint sent to administrators at Mount Holyoke College, Chenkin accused the student journalist of aiding in the “harassment, humiliation, cyberbullying” and “libel” of Segal. Chenkin provided a list of demands that included a request that Dillon be prohibited from writing or publishing for Campus Reform or any Mount Holyoke-affiliated student publication.
In the complaint, Chenkin also demanded that Dillon issue a public apology to “to the person whose face she has now plastered all over the conservative web and who is now being bullied and shamed.”
The Dean of Students at Mount Holyoke College met with Dillon about the complaint and informed her that the college would “not be pursuing judicial action” because the school’s “disciplinary process does not provide for the adjudication of complaints of this nature, made by non-students for events taking place off campus.”
Why did she even have to meet with the Dean? Why is anyone taking an email from Jennie Chenkin seriously? These people are jokes and they need to be treated like it. I mean, just check out the email she sent to Mount Holyoke:
I demand that disciplinary action be taken against Kassy Dillon, who has decided that cyberbullying and libel are okay and are more important than journalistic integrity and human decency. I demand that Kassy Dillon be made to remove the humiliating youtube video and Campus Reform article from the web. I demand that Kassy Dillon issue a public apology to the person whose face she has now plastered all over the conservative web and who is now being bullied and shamed. I would like a mediated meeting with Kassy Dillon to address concerns with her directly and discuss any issues that may become relevant. I demand that Kassy Dillon be prohibited from publishing anything further about the protests which took place at “The triggering”, the people who participated in the protests, and this complaint which has been issued against her. And lastly, on the basis of engaging in cyberbullying and libel, I request that Kassy Dillon be prohibited from writing or publishing for Campus Reform or any other Mount Holyoke-affiliated publication. I expect a response detailing what action will be taken against Kassy Dillon for her blatant disrespect of Five College community members. I will wait until 10 AM on Friday, April 29, and if I do not receive a response, I will take my complaint to to a person of higher power within the Mount Holyoke institution. I am already involved in a legal process through Hampshire to get my own name erased from a similarly harassing site following this “Triggering” event at UMass; please be advised that I am more than happy to direct the individual who Kassy Dillon has cyberbullied to the same offices I have gone through to pursue legal action against harassment and the republishing of information without consent. I sincerely hope my friend Cora won’t have to go through this cumbersome process, but that may be her only choice if Mount Holyoke does not condemn the recent atrocious behavior of Kassy Dillon.
The sense of entitlement is amazing. It really is. She actually thinks that the Dean of Mount Holyoke has the power to stop one of their students from writing for a private news outlet. She actually thinks the school has the ability to force a student to make a public apology for taping at a public event. This is fantastic!!!
She is denying that the @sillydoses account is her, which is weird because she obviously was troubled when we publicized her arrest record from last year:
Want more proof they’re both Jennie? Here she is reaching out to New York Magazine for help writing a story about all the big bad Internet people being mean to her:
And here she is pretending to be a “friend” of Jennie, reaching out to the same media outlet:
@NYMag hi New York mag. I'm friends with two of the women who led the protest at UMass, one of them being "trigglypuff".
— —- (@sillydoses) May 1, 2016
A reporter from NY Magazine did eventually get back to her, but only to tell her that even he thought she was a moron:
4/ BEFOREHAND, if you send an email to someone they can obviously obviously obviously share its content. This isn't complex, and I have
— Jesse Singal (@jessesingal) May 3, 2016
Honey, when journalists on both the right and the left are telling you you’re wrong, maybe you should take a hint.
But perhaps the worst part about this whole sordid affair is that Jennie isn’t hiding. I mean, anyone with a brain gets off of social media post haste. Where are her parents? If this was your kid, why would you continue to allow them to embarrass themselves like this? Your daughter is obviously a moron, but if you love her then why wouldn’t you at least give her some good advice? Instead she’s actually embracing the fact that she is turning herself into a victim:
She doesn’t take that as an insult. She’s proud to be a victim. Her gender studies professors have taught her well.
But by far our favorite Jennie tweet today was this one, where someone suggested that we should “stop making this hypocritical waste of air famous. Let her die off and float away like a leaf.” Jennie’s reaction was classic Jennie:
— gapmindah (@espinelli145) May 3, 2016
At least Jennie can admit it. She is a hypocritical waste of air. If only she realized that the easiest way to make this all go away is to just stop talking on the Internet.
